The grand conclusion to the Shaper saga we'd been waiting for. What could be the next step for Kordt and the shaping? Giants, or to be more specific, kaiju. What follows is nothing short of epic, with all questions answered, more twists, ribald humor that'll make your pets question the noises you're making, and the grandest of multi-layered battles. A story worthy of demon royalty.

Absolutely loved it

Tokyo Kaijui is the seventh book in the South East Asia Paranormal Police Department series. What a book it is!!! With expertly written action and fight scenes and witty and hilarious banter throughout, you will find yourself hooked from the start. Be prepared for pure havoc and superb insults, which will have you in stitches.

What an ending for a series! Tokyo Kaiju: Southeast Asia Paranormal Police Department Book Seven by John P Logsdon and Noah K Sturdevant is amazing. I really do not know how the authors were able to tie together all of the loose ends while delivering an action packed, snarky, tale.
So many questions answered. Plots and conspiracies abound! People lying to protect others. People lying to protect and advance themselves. Plots within plots. I really feel sorry for Mark. Nothing is quite what he thought it was. Not even himself.
This is a must read!

Bringing this series to an end, Tokyo Kaiju pulls all the threads together to a fast-paced conclusion and I am reminded why I have so missed Bert so much. His totally inappropriate humour brings a smile on my face and a tear to my eyes - often at the imagined pain.
This is a great ending to a story that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. And I hope we will be getting more, much more, because this is one story that doesn't deserve to end just yet.

What a series ending wow

Action check, Humour of questionable taste check, Twists so many it puts a mountain road to shame and i don't know how the authors managed to keep it all straight in their head.
A great ending and I loved how we might even see some more from Mark,Bert and crowd given time as their unusual partnership and family life is better than any soap opera.

Mark and Bert are back and of course the sparks fly. Loved the way their relationship has grown and their relationships with their families continue to develop. Mark and Bert both have grown into their new roles. Consulting mostly for the PPD gives them access but less constraints and that is where the fun begins.

bert's blitering blue barnacles

a helluva read from 1 to 7... it would be impossible to say who is my favourite character and i would be hardpressed to say it isn't bert. the characters are an eclectic group that should not get along much less survive and yet in the maelstrom of the chaotic minds of the authors there is a magic that blends them so well

Tokyo Kaiju is one of the best urban fantasy books I have ever read! It is full of action and comedy. I mean, seriously, the fighting starts on chapter two! All the loose ends of the series are tied up nicely. It was everything I hoped for and more. Be prepared for action, laughs, and more.

The brilliant finale to the struggles of Mark and Bert against the evil Shapers. This book has the answers to all the questions raised in the previous books and provides page-turning action from start to finish.

Great crew and storyline. Constant chaos and dysfunction on an epic level.

You’ll have to read them all. Outrageous but strangely relatable. Laughed my ass off. Even dropped a rear or two. Diverse and varied characters you grow to cheer and love.

An amazing addition to the South East Asia PPD. Mark, Bert & some of the crew get closer to some answers, or is it more questions?

More Mark! More Bert! More whatever brain-torching whatever that thing Bert did from the Karma Sutra was that I now wish I didn't know!

This was a great end to the series and really showed the growth of the main character, but also the other characters as well.
