Bought this book at my recent trip to Astoria!! I love the PNW and this book WOW!! So amazing and I felt like I was apart of the group. Very descriptive and naturally scary!! Loved seeing Forest Grove make the book. My son goes to Pacific in Forest Grove!!

Timeline is difficult to follow. Too many characters to keep track of. A lot of inconsistencies throughout. In one paragraph the scene is described as a steady rain and the next sentence the characters are building a fire outside and saying that it looks like rain. Which is it- “pouring rain” or “it looks like rain?”

The storyline has potential. Not being from the West Coast I had no idea of the fault line concerns in the area. I found that interesting.
