Corrigan #1-5

Corrigan: The Complete Series

Rate this book
The complete boxed set series of the Corrigan novellas. These five thrilling stories re-tell the events of the Blood Destiny books from the Lord Alpha's point of view.

Corrigan wasn't always the Lord Alpha of the Brethren. And he wasn't always in love with Mackenzie Smith, an alleged werehamster with anger management problems. But he has always been a powerful shapeshifter who faces trouble head-on, no matter what shifter politics or supernatural machinations get in his way. Now his world isn't just filled with magic and mayhem. There's also a considerable amount of fire.

Corrigan Fire
Between brutal deaths in both Cornwall and London to deal with, alongside a certain curious were-hamster who has far more strength, power and mouth than should be possible, Corrigan has got his hands full.
He thought his greatest desire was to modernise the shapeshifter world - but that may be starting to change...

Corrigan Magic
With Mack long gone, and efforts to find her proving fruitless, Corrigan is forced to turn his attentions to other matters. The vampires are getting in the way and the Brethren are resisting his attempts to bring them into the twenty-first century. Even more ominously, shifters are starting to get sick from a mysterious disease. This might be one foe that Corrigan is powerless against.

Corrigan Rage
All seems calm amongst the Brethren. Taking advantage of the relative peace, Corrigan returns to his work on various initiatives for modernising the shifter world. Unfortunately when that work includes breaking into the Tower of London to steal back an ancient shapeshifter seal, he may be biting off more than he can chew. And that's nothing compared to what happens when Mack engages in a little thievery of her own.

Corrigan Politics
Between dealing with reports of rogue shifters and untrustworthy Pack Alphas, not to mention negotiating his way into Mack's heart, Corrigan has his hands full. Unfortunately, just when it seems that things might be going his way, there's a new player in town - and he's got death magic at his fingertips.

Corrigan Lust
With the growing threat of the necromancer, Endor, to deal with, not to mention his turbulent feelings concerning his fiery, red-headed dragon, Corrigan is going to have a lot on his plate. This might change everything.

Audiobook (audible) -
Corrigan Fire 3.5⭐️ - strange start to the series, multiple shifter breeds within the aka pack. There is a force that is attacking the packs, causing. A lot of work for the new Lord Alpha, Corrigan. While working through an attack that took out a packs alpha, Corrigan may have come across his mate (Mack) whom is super independent and goes against the Lord Alphas decisions whenever she can.

Corrigan Magic 3.5 ⭐️ - a strange illness is killing shifters. Corrigan and Mack continue to bicker and disagree and we find out what she really is and she provides the ‘cure’ to the red sickness.

Corrigan Rage 4 ⭐️ - short story, Mack’s animal is revealed and she’s a dragon but not a shifter. Mack and Corrigan’s relationship continues to bloom as they fight showing their love of one another.

Corrigan Politics 3.5 ⭐️ - Mack and Corrigan finally get together and start having a mild relationship until politics and personal gain/drive ends their newly stared relationship. All this while fighting a necromancer with large ambitions for control and power.

Corrigan Lust 3⭐️ - the series conclusion continues the horrible ignorance of Mack and Corrigan’s fated mate connection while continuing to fight the necromancer. All works out in the end with a hea.

I love this so much!

This book is fun and intense. I laughed a lot, and I cried my heart out a couple of times. Each Corrigan book is a lot shorter than Mack's books, but I just love hearing the story from his point of view. It really helped me appreciate him more to see through his eyes. He's really such a sweetheart and a total badass. It makes me love Corrigan even more. He and Mack are so perfect together. I love the ending where we get to see them safe and happy with their amazing babies. They go through so much together, and that HEA is everything.

The voice acting for this audiobook is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Corrigan by Helen Harper. Shaun Grindell is very talented.

I borrowed this only because I liked Helen's books. When I started listening to it I just couldnt get into it, I didnt really like the narrator.
Then I read the blurb and released that this was a series I had already listened too, well Blood Destiny was and this was just from Corrigan's point of view. I dont like listening to these sort of books as I find they arent as good. So I DNF this one as it wasnt for me and I just couldnt bring myself to listen to 23hrs with this narrator!

anOTHER excellent series!

I love everything this author writes! Mystery, magic, mayhem, and the occasional murder ensue with “the OTHERS”. Shapeshifters, Mages, Fairies, all sorts of wondrous magical beings exist in the world of humans, unbeknownst to them. I enjoy the authors sense of humor, witty bantering, romance and mutual support between the diverse races of supernaturals. Highly recommend!

Put side for now.

Enjoyable, but repetitive.
Biggest issue, just can’t figure out, or feel the supposed attraction of the MMC to the FMC? Just not believable.

The rest of the story idea was enjoyable.

Corrigan

It was good to see this series from his point of view. It was also nice to know how the series ends.
