I recently had the pleasure of reading "The Immortal" by S.R. Finch. It is a tale so potently ringing with Finch's passion. You can tell this project was loved by the details and depth given to every aspect of the story, particularly the characters. I loved journeying alongside Cyril as he tried to find his place in a world that constantly knocked him down, but regardless, he never gave in, stepping up to claim his rightful role.
The internal sketches were such a fun treat, and I laughed a lot at the funny text that went along with them. They really pulled me in even deeper to the Kingdom of Temporal and made it all the more special.
I thoroughly enjoyed how the characters each had individual personalities and flaws, making them appear more relatable and human. I also enjoyed the subtle themes of faith throughout the novel which were great touches.
The mysteries, plot twists, and lore behind Originals, Copies, and Holograms was so entertaining and unique!
A great debut for a great artist/author!
