Harlow Saint is just like any other chick born in the projects, but the difference with her is that she's trying to make it out. Hard work comes easy to her because she's struggled her entire life. All she wants to do is provide for herself and her younger sister while her mother chases her next high in the streets. Things seem to take a turn for the better when she meets Revel, an up-and-coming kingpin. Not only does he wine and dine Harlow, but he also treats her little sister like his own. For a short time, Harlow believes she's found her happily ever after until things shift and she suddenly finds herself in a situation she can't get out of, that is, until an unlikely savior steps in and saves the day.
Harlow grew up fast providing for her sister had to drop out of school. She meets Revel and is happy her life is about to get better. Unfortunately, Revel has other plans Savior comes in and shakes things up. Definitely a good read.
This book was a good read. I felt really bad for Harlow that she had to grow up fast to take care of her little sister that she meets a sheep in wolf clothing named Revel handsome but crazy as hell she realizes his no good for her until she meets her night in shining amor named Savior and that he does.
This book was soo good omg I felt so bad for Harlow I can't stand revel he needed to go he was too abusive and crazy I'm glad savior was around to help them out their situation and was the person he was too bad rico ain't make it out but it's good hazel did what she did to help her sister cause omg it was crazy definitely enjoyed reading this book I couldn't put it down..great work
Domestic Violence is never okay and poor Harlow had been through it. A young girl raising a young girl and trying to maintain her sanity. She meets up with someone who she thought was really down to help her when she fell on hard times only to find out something totally different... Great story from beginning to end.
This book was so very , very good! I loved it. I enjoyed it some much I hated it when it was over. If you are looking for a good read, look no further!
From the first chapter I was pulled in. Each chapter was different and some pulled at my heartstrings. Harlow was indeed a very strong woman. I loved the way she cared for Hazel. I like the fact that she never gave up when there was reason too. This was a good read!!!
This book shows just how vulnerable a person can be and how a person will prey upon that vulnerability. Because Harlow was so vulnerable with the weight on her shoulders and the responsibilities that came with her sister, she was left in a weak state. This left just enough room for Revel to come in and make everything seem great! A wolf in sheep clothing. I am so glad Savior stuck to his word and really helped her get out if that situation
This story was riveting from the start. The character development was excellent. I found !myself smiling, cheering and crying for Carmichael savior and rico. Can't wait to read more from this author.
Harlow is the definition of a strong woman! Revel was bat ish crazy to be doing Harlow the was he did, which I'm sure he traumatized Hazel in the process!! Then you have Savior who showed up and showed out for them!!! Loved how he built them up to be better versions of themselves!!!!
I hate that Hazel had to experiment that trauma. I am thankful she was there because her sister and Savior needed her. I wish things could have turned out better fir Rico since it was always Savior and Rico. It really made me sad when Salem got killed because she was on drugs so bad to get off and then get killed by a bullet. So Ironic.
Harlow was doing a good job for her sister Hazel until the devil Revel came into her world. Thanks yo Savior and his mom, she was able to rebuild and have a family.
I didn’t want this book to end. It was amazing. Revel was a bitch ass nigga that got just what he deserved. KARMA! Saint oh saint was prefect in my eyes. He’s bae! Highly recommend this quick read.
