Rampo is absolutely BRILLIANT.
And I didn't think I would be this much hyped by Akutagawa's return.

This volume reminded me once again how much I love this manga. Hands down one of the best ever. The Decay of Angels arc is getting more and more interesting !!

Ha sido un tomo más ligero que el anterior, cosa que he agradecido porque el anterior era medio denso.

La historia sigue avanzando decentemente, aunque me da la sensación que el autor está rizando el rizo en algunas ocasiones. Sinceramente ha habido momentos que me he perdido, es decir, quien es un traidor o está fingiendo entre otras cosas.

I'm not going to leave reviews on all of the volumes in this series, because I'm not crazy. But the Decay of Angels arc is so god damn delicious. In this house, we stan Sakaguchi Ango.

Now what will it take for them to give my one and only Chuuya more page time??? Please, we're starving.

“As a group, the Agency gives us the power to accomplish what we couldn’t as individuals.”

Every time I even think of this volume I need to take deep breaths because it pains me so badly and elates me so much it's not even funny.

First of all, as much as I love most of the characters in this series there is no one that could ever compare to The Armed Detective Agency and how deeply a love all their brave, honorable, selfless souls. There's no contest. So having this volume with them having more of a focus, again, was a complete treat.

Of course, that is all offset by the completely earth-shattering and maddening revelation that we are dealt.

I'm still pretty pissed at it. I mean, I love what it means, but I am pissed at the happenings.

That being said, seeing all things start to fall into place, being able to practically taste the seedlings of hope that are sprouting is nothing if not refreshing and it brings a completely different kind of tears to my eyes.

Still, that ending terrifies me just as much as it gets my blood pumping.

“Win, and the case is solved. Lose, and the world is destroyed. What I do right now will decide it all.”

This volume just makes me emotional on so many different levels.

Seriously, just remembering makes me tear up.

Decided to re-watch the BSD anime last week and fell into the biggest rabbit hole.
I then re-read EVERYTHING and caught up on all the volumes I'd missed, what a wild ride.
This is my life now, I'll probably read the Light Novels next.

Anyway, anybody else getting emotional because the ghost of Atsushi's headmaster is slowly being replaced by Dazai? Because I am. Man this Arc is great, see you next volume!

Absolutely threw my book and started climbing up the walls at Akutagawa showing up to save Atsushi like yesssss bitch come get your bf !!!! (The anime has done him dirty as well because damn I forgot how gorgeous he was???)

I was gonna rate lower because that one old dude would NOT stop fucking yapping but Akutagawa showing up just to serve face really canceled that out.

one of the best volumes may i say, probably has to do with the fact of chapter 81... genuinely cried real tears! the twist reveals with our genius ranpo as always, and that ending just absolutely insane i needed that ending so much like world stopped for my sskk heart.

Ranpo's brain is truly a masterpiece, I love him so much. The revelations were so shocking, but well worth the wait. Aktugawa and Atsushi never fail to have such a cool team up. I'm both excited and dreading what comes next after this.
