Them Rabbit Foot Blues

A mind bending hardboiled thriller...
Back on the streets of Baltimore from Afghanistan, a nameless protagonist searches for his identity, a mysterious woman, and a missing girl. Robots however, prove more reliable at detecting than he ever could hope. Disenfranchised, he plunges into the depths of a netherworld, where he encounters bizarre citizens, barking cops, deranged assassins, and strange superstitions. Given a new title, a name, and oddly, a rabbit foot pendant, he continues searching, where prior events converge at occultists, fairy tales, and revolution. Something of an aspiring writer, he uses his unique vison to observe puzzling discrepancies and cover-ups, all while trying to leave his fetish for illicit drugs behind.
A cleverly diverting narrative that remixes folklore, pop culture, multiculturalism, history, sci-fi, noir aesthetics, and urban decay. This existential misadventure with literary ambitions challenges notions of society and self. At once a freshly voiced, compellingly enigmatic, utterly poignant, and darkly comic novel. Where animals speak and humans don't talk enough.

Do you have what it takes to unriddle Them Rabbit Foot Blues?
