One of the best books I have ever read. Like, I wouldn’t mind going for another 300 chapters. I honestly don’t know how to live without Jiang Xie and Xie Xi in my life. We spent too much time together😂

Okay, I read this a while ago but I will make a review now. This is an infinite flow novel and it started off pretty good. But the romance is kinda... Rocky? The MC's favorability towards the ML was literally what, -999? But then it directly shot up during the arc where the ML loses his memory and he isn't supposed to get it back and then both of them get thrown into the instance where the ML is a teacher and the MC is a student and they literally get together IN THAT INSTANCE... That was basically where MC fell and honestly, I don't really like that that happened... :D

Man... I don't know what it was about this one. I found it interesting enough to keep going all the way through 200 chapters even though I had zero interest in how Xie Xi was going to juggle all those love interests but somewhere in the 12 zodiacs arc, I lost steam. It's not that I found it any more boring then the other arcs, but there was just something about this spot. I started this back in January, stalled out, and had to re-read it. Stalled out in the same spot again and it took me weeks to convince myself to just go back and power through the last 100 chapters. I can't say I was bored with it. I just... didn't care anymore? I don't know.

I did enjoy just how annoyed Xie Xi was the whole time he was in the worlds and his constant roasting of Jiang Xie cracked me up. It was also nice that he didn't stop roasting him even after they got together because yoooo. I would not have the patience for the nonsense he had to go through for Jiang Xie's sake.

All in all, it was good enough that I read the first 200 chapters twice... but I will probably never read it again and it wouldn't make it onto any of my recc lists.

Xie Xi's journey from a young 19 year old with normal three views to an old hand at coaxing was too funny! The quasi-worlds' dog blood plots baptized him into a true scum shou lmao.

The ML was also hilarious as he worked hard (and failed) to make Xie Xi like him. Their interactions were always funny and full of dog food after they got together. I loved how the ML constantly (and shamelessly) blinded his single friends with dog food lol.

There were some parts that were draggy, but overall, this was an entertaining read.

At first I thought this would be a slow love story but Xie Xi changed opinion too quickly, Jiang Xie flirted with him and he just fell for it. I get it he's supposed to be soft hearted and a bit of a tsundere but what was the meaning of the goodwill score then? It looks more like Xie Xi is just simple and easily fooled.
Also Jiang Xie looked like a lovestruck fool at the beginning, which was a bit funny, but got quite manipulative later. And if you consider that he's much older than Xie Xi it feels even worse (The age difference is incalculable, X doesn't even know how old he is) I wouldn't mind it if there was mutual respect but I don't see it.

It took about one day together for Xie Xi's opinion to completely change, they technically spent 60 years together in a dream but it's still unclear how they fell in love in the first place.

It was interesting to see the worlds and games, but only if you forget they're supposed to be part of their overall love story because then it's just weird.

I've only read about a third of the story, I liked the worlds enough but the protagonist's couple dynamic is so annoying. Dropped at chapter 123.

Rating: 5/5- Wow, where to start! This is probably the most romantic, sickeningly sweet love story I have ever read in my history of reading!

I never expected that result at all but it was wonderful, intriguing and beautifully plot out! Definitely worth the read!
I kept contemplating about starting this novel for almost a year and then eventually took the plunge and got into it from chapter 2. It’s one of those books that once you pick up, it’s difficult to put down until you see it to the end.

The pacing of the story is great and you’re always kept in the right amount of suspense whilst never losing the love story that this novel really is. I truly never expected it to be so romance centred but this is the first couple that had such feelings in all the BLs I’ve ever read (even though the ML definitely has obsessive tendencies and the relationship does have dubious undertones when looked at from a realistic perspective).

Every single arc is about falling in love over and over again. The concept of the slag can get a bit frustrating throughout the worlds, but in the context of simple reading I personally didn’t mind it too much.

I eventually read this this as more of a romance than a plot heavy story. Reason being is if you keep such an expectation after the third arc then you may feel slightly underwhelmed, because finer details and more life centric information are never truly explored. It felt to me like the author wanted to focus on the relationship mostly and didn’t really expand on the characters backstories or the even the concept of central and the zone. You know about them, but do you really know about them? It kind of feels like that.

I think I went in expecting action but got some and then a whole lot of dog food! And I am not complaining coz it was great, even the repetitive parts. It’s a satisfying read from that perspective, especially if you’re looking for an easy flow and non-complicated story. Like the dog blood isn’t really dog blood and you always know that they will make it out.

My favourite arcs have to be The Open World and the Collapsed 12. In fact I enjoyed every arc overall and I liked the characters across the 300 chapters. It was hard to feel bored and each aspect and personality of both leads in each world was fascinating. I was happy with how the story began and ended and especially liked how they developed feelings for each other. It was different from the usual.

I would probably read this again in the future. It’s adventurous, thrilling and paints a beautiful world each time. I think what makes this book better than the average is that the story is unexpected in many ways but also very simple. This was also my first gaming and world building novel so I think that is why I found it more enjoyable than most.

I really, really liked this book. This book combines 2 web novel tropes (gaming stories and world hopping stories), and does it well. For such a long book, it surprisingly never drags or becomes repetitive the way that some of these world hopping books might.

I felt that each arc was pretty unique and had their own interesting concepts. They sometimes tackle serious concepts, like environmental degradation, the cost of war, or the addictive quality of a good dream when reality feels bleak. Overall, the book also advocates for the idea that people can determine their own destinies, despite innate (un)luckiness or what seems like a predetermined future. I also thought the idea that worlds are created after being tested as quasi-worlds, in a tessellation of 'Centers', was beautifully elegant.

Some might argue the "love" cheat or the main protagonist's "luck" made the worlds a bit too easy, but they still encountered a remarkable range of situations and twists that had to be resolved through guessing at solutions, like in a real mystery video game. The only arc that I felt was shallow was the extra. I wish the author had taken the opportunity to pair up some of the friends, or tell the story of what they went through in the repair world.

I guess the main negative for this book is that the side characters aren't super well developed. The most fleshed out one is the healer, but his story only comes in flashes.

There's a huge plot hole for N, why he started his organization, what he is striving for with the worlds he fails to create, if any of his worlds end up succeeding. I wonder if N is a version of what J would have been if he hadn't forged an unknown future for himself in hopes of meeting Xi Xie, or what J might have been like if his luck had been better day - to - day. Maybe J really did exchange all his luck for one chance at love. Some readers also hypothesize that N is Xi Xie's father, which I find a really fascinating idea. I think the author intends Xi Xie to really not have family though.

The author also hints at a backstory for the character that originally betrays Xi Xie (J Xi?), but this plot hole is even patchier than N's. We just know he had a (best?) friend who falls so in love with the world he creates that he becomes a dragon in it, but the authors kept hinting that there was more to the story. Too bad we never find out this story.

Dropped - chapter 67

Please keep in mind that I have not read the entire novel and that my review will be purely based on what I have read so far.

I know that this is a 1v1 novel NOT a harem, but I really DO NOT care about the MC attempting to win the heart of all the ML's souls.

I came here thinking that this was going to be a funny game type infinite/unlimited flow novel with very mild gore and blood but I did not expect that it would have absolutely zero horror aspects and no one dies. I mean, then again maybe I'm the weird one for wanting people to die?😂

I was pretty disappointed after the first arc and second arc, but I did not expect that the third arc would be even worse. I mean, first of all, it was boring as heck and, come on, imagine juggling six guys in one go. Yes I know that they are all technically the same person, but do I really care?

I don't know why but it triggers me when the ML lies to (I'm gonna presume) his friends. Clearly the MC's affection for him is negative 250 but he just shamelessly tells them that its positive 250(I mean he just says 250 without being specific but obviously he knows that his ‘friends’ think that it's positive). Normally in novels I love shameless characters who lie and stuff their friends(and me) with dog food, but I just can't stand this one, and I don't know why...

Dropped in chapter 122.

I'm frustrated because the plots of the different worlds and games are quite interesting, original and entertaining, but I can't stand the 'romantic' relationship between the protagonists.

-The ML decides that the MC is his soulmate. They don't even know each other, but theoretically there is a very good affinity between their souls so he falls in love at first sight. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but his reasons are pretty absurd.
-I don't usually care about the age gap when both characters are adults, however, the ML describes and treats the MC as a child. At least in the translation I've read he always refers to him as "kid" which is super cringe.
-Also, the ML sometimes refers to himself as the "father" of the MC.
-Despite all of this, I liked that the MC acted suspiciously and unfriendly towards the ML who is stalking him.
-HOWEVER, in one of the plots they both get locked in a dream about the real world where they meet and fall in love... which would be sweet and nice if in that dream the MC wasn't a college student desperate for money and ML his teacher who takes advantage of his situation (ML: Yeah, I tell you I'm like your father but in fact I'm manipulating you to live with me).
-After the dream, the MC has already fallen in love with the ML.

I prefer to abandon the story for the moment.

Yeah, I'm putting this on hold for sure.

I wanted to read this because I loved Glory by the same author so much. In my mind "Glory x unlimited flow = perfection". Unfortunately that was not the case.

I loved the first 20% of this for sure...So much so that I actually thought this was going to be a 5*. The first 2 arcs were the perfect introduction... The Atlantis arc was quite interesting, although a bit ridiculous with the harem themes... It felt like playing an otome and I had fun for the most part.

Then the open world arc happened and everything went downhill. I did enjoy most of it but I didn't like the way they ended up together, the teacher x student plotline was tasteless and yet I still pushed through. And now I finally decided to drop it for now because it feels like yet another harem world and it just got old. I'm bored, it's already the 3rd arc with this plot, just a different setting. I heard it gets better but I'm just not in the mood for it.

Maybe someday.

I like reading Long Qi novels. The books really fit my preferences and can keep me interested.

The books I read previously all had smut and I was a bit sad that there wasn't any smut in this novel. There were sexual relations, just that it was written off in 1 or 2 sentences.

This infinite flow novel has less gore, thrill and horror then some of the top books in their category. The main plot is focused on the relationship of MC and ML. There was lots of fluff and sweetness. Angst wise... is really minimal. Elements of comedy was also sprinkled in between.

However, when I was reading a certain arc... it really got draggy/ boring. I couldn't wait for it to be done with. The novel is interesting, but it can get a bit repetitive honestly.

3/5 will read again

Intriguing different world scenarios. Great world development for each scenario the MC found himself in. MC and ML interactions were humorous and fluffy. Best parts were the negative points ML fell victim too <3It was great but the ending felt a bit abrupt with how it ended. I really enjoyed that MC and ML got to experience love in so many ways together, best one was the one where they lived to old age and MC got some closure for the RL he didn't get to experience before he got pulled in by the system.

To be honest one of the best work of arts I have ever read and there are no words to explain how beautiful this novel is.
If you reading this review stop quickly! It is a sign to start reading immediately, and I'm 99.9% sure you will like it.
By the way while I was reading I was listening to "Lana Del Ray - Brooklyn Baby". I think it perfectly matches the wibe of this book.
So even after reading new books, if I'm listening to this song I instantly have this image when
Jiang Xie touched the centre, saw the future and saw Xie Xie.

This is a BL romance. Very fluffy, with little to no tension. The MC has fantastic luck and the ML as his cheat from his very first task. The world is similar yet different from Sinister ex-girlfriend, in that they are from an alternate plain or void, and take missions of different worlds.
The plot is simple but interesting enough not to bore. In essence, if you enjoy world-hopping and sweet fluffy romance, this is for you. If you want awesome battles, and a dynamic plot, not so much.

Would be a 4 star rating if the beginning game hadn't put me off so badly. I actually stopped reading and didn't plan to pick it back up except spoilered me for a little bit past arc 1, so I gave it another go. Loved the two main characters, and the cool idea of building the worlds and ranking them up (and the terrible ways some other people did so), and having to solve the story plots to open them up. I will never not love the hidden affection meter, either.

Felt like more than 600 pages(Japanese editions says 3.5k?? It’s definitely not that long tho).
Could’ve read so many more chapters. I loved everything abt this book. The philosophical and existential topics were done well. The romance was sweet. I originally thought it happened too fast compared to other danmei, but it felt right as the amount of quasi-worlds entered increased. The last repair misson(s) arc was so good rahhh.
I was never bored during any part of this novel, a new favorite.

Ceritanya bikin ketagihan

This is a very funny book and Xie Xi's inner thoughts made me cracked out laughing in the middle of the night while reading it. The sci-fi theme of the novel is not new but the way the story progress and how he has to solve all Jiang Xie's games were the one made you laughed. I decided to pick up other novels by this author after this one.

Oh, and if it's not obvious enough, it's HE.

I'm a little confused... I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It was lovely but also confusing and repetitive at times and the ending kinda threw me off so I really don't know. It was still a mostly enjoyable read tho, like a 3.5, 4 if I'm generous.

The perfect read to unwind after a long day. The story definitely doesn't take itself too seriously, and the various settings are refreshing.
It's a bit too long in my opinion though, with some arcs kind of repeating themselves.

Sweet and healing. At first I thought I was repetitive due to the love interests arcs; however the subtle twists made me happy. Also, the fact that it does not contain +18 scenes is great, given that some authors sometimes forget about the plot and write porn.

A little repetitive in the tasks Xie Xi has to fulfill (date all iterations of Jiang Xie without letting the other iterations know he's two-timing... or six-timing... them), but the worldbuilding of many different worlds is top notch. The romance is funny and very sweet as it develops.
