This story is pretty generic with 'male leads that are supposed to hate the villainess now fall in love with her one by one' troupe but it's also REALLY funny. What carries this story is the Gods and our female lead's interactions with them, they are always to much fun to read, however rest of the stuff, the love interests, plot etc. are all a bit 'meh'.

Some of the spoilers I was exposed about the novel really makes me want to drop this series but for now I'll give a chance to season 2 when it comes out since 'the gods chatroom' is so much fun. Why isn't ditching the male leads (Who are all red flags, by the way) and creating a harem with all the gods an option?

Mình chỉ cố đu vì mấy vị thần dễ thương thôi chứ thực ra thấy nội dung truyện chán ốm. Tính cách nữ chính ổn, không có gì đặc sắc lắm. Mấy anh love interest anh nào cũng được xây dựng rất vớ vỉn và chán.

To be fair (though it makes formatting very important), I really like the comedic inclusion of the chat server room with the gods in this piece. Their petty bickering, random commentary, bets, and interference are hilarious along with Ariel's attempts to manage them. This gives a good reason why she is distracted during important events or discussions and struggles to make some choices. The circumstances of having a tirade of voices and imperfect knowledge of the future (fake prophecy) give added sympathy to our heroine even when she behaves oddly. That said I wasn't having a lot of fun with the story itself. The male leads are a bizarre bunch with uneven feature time and development. Some ideas are repeated ad nauseum while interesting questions are left unexplored. They go from uninterested to infatuated too easily. The random crises feel like they come out of nowhere and often get solved just as easily. Readers will be given a plan or told what to expect and then none of that will come. It doesn't feel like a twist or a desire to rebuff expectations--it feels like bad storytelling. In the right mood, this would be a fine in a soap opera or watch a train wreck kind of way. DNF.

This is a good story but don't expect much from it. The gods are the heart and soul of this book, with the male leads just there for the eye candy. It's a nice story but it has too many Side Story chapters after the end. I must admit I got them summarized, I couldn't read more of the same.

This is already such a long book, so many chapters after the end is overkill.

I like that the side stories are like what her future would’ve been if she went with a different male leads, I like that aspect. I think it’s unique at least first one I’ve read like that haha
