Gunner is her boss, roommate, and best friend. They’ve seen each other through life-altering injuries and unimaginable losses, and they work side by side at Wicked Animal Rescue, fulfilling their passion to save animals. Unfortunately, Gunner is also the man Sidney is in love with, and he's the ultimate player. As her former military comrade, Gunner sees her as his buddy—just one of the guys. Sidney is at her wit’s end, ready to risk the friendship and job she adores for a chance at forever love with the man she can’t live without. Like any good Marine, she comes up with a mission. Enter Operation Get My Guy.

Gunner loves his life. He has a family he adores, a brotherhood that always has his back, and a host of willing women to warm his bed. As the owner of Wicked Animal Rescue, he saves lives and works with his best friend, Sid, the coolest woman on the planet. When Sid concocts a crazy plan to win his cousin’s heart, Gunner reluctantly agrees to be her wingman.

Practices heat up as roommates become teammates. Let the wicked fun begin…

"It's always been you, baby."
Just when I thought I had Melissa Foster all figured out, and that she’d reduce me to tears with each book, she throws me a curve ball with a funny, steamy, sassy, sexy, and very much perfect friends-to-lovers book between two amazing characters.

"Watch out, Gunny. You're the only target on my radar."
Sidney and Gunner have been friends for what seems like forever, since they were both in the military. They work together, and they live together. They're perfect for each other, and they're definitely perfect with each other. Everyone can see it. And now Sidney sees it too. If only she hadn't been friend-zoned a long time ago...

"If I have it my way, he's going to be mine. He just doesn't know it yet."
Gunner is a Wicked through and through, and I swear this family is going to be the death of me. He's sexy, he's hot, he's protective, he's there for the people he cares about, I love his love for animals and all his innuendos (and his skills!)... and he's an idiot. The perfect woman for him has been there all along, but he just doesn't see it. Maybe he needs some help?

"Only she wasn't just his fantasy. She was better, because she was Sid."
Sidney is my girl. You get her insecurities as a woman, but you also get her strength in everything she does. You get her down to earth, jeans-and-boots style, but you also get her sexy outfits. She just feels so real. She goes after what she wants, because she's sick of waiting. And you know what she wants, in her life and in her heart – and that's Gunner.

"I did it to see that smile. I'd do anything to see your smile."
Now, what if Gunner thinks she is genuinely interested in someone else? In fact, what if she asks for his help in getting through to that someone else? Does he do it willingly, no biggie? Is he OK with being her wingman and allowing her to practice her moves on him?
Or does that lead to him finally acknowledging what's been going on all along?

"If you tell me this is a mistake, I'll castrate you in your sleep."
"We're not getting any sleep tonight, baby."

It was heartwarming to see him finally realizing what's in front of him. All the stuff he's kept bottled up, everything they've done together that hinted at the fact that they were always more. It was also all shades of sexy and hot, because the tension between them was scorching. I loved every moment of it.
And I loved it even more once they couldn't keep their hands off each other. It's just right.

"I'm saying that I feel lucky every morning when I wake up with you in my arms. (...) Because you're a part of me."
I'm not going to lie, this was slow-burn, and I loved it, but I also felt for Sidney at times. I think we all had that friend we wanted to be more with, but it never happened. I know I did. And it hurts to be considered as 'just one of the guys'.
Look, it wouldn't be a Melissa Foster book without me catching emotions, but I know I can trust her to deliver on the happily ever after. She never fails me.

I want forever, and I want it with you."
Sidney and Gunner fell in love a long time ago. They already knew all there was to know, and they love everything about each other. All it took was one little push.
And can I add that I love it that it was her push, and not his? You go, girl!
Loved this book!

I want forever, and I want it with you."

So...in my usual style of doing things ass-backwards, this was my first Melissa Foster book.

The funny thing is...

OK so it's not funny. It was the cover, okay? The cover did it. I blame the cover. Stop judging me now. I see you giving me those judgy eyes. Quit it.

The funny thing is I'm not usually a friends to lovers fan. I much prefer the angst of an enemies to lovers. But every now and then, I do crave a bit of pining, and so a good friends to lovers will do the trick. And when that pining is for your manwhore best friend, who you live with, and get nightly reminders of his manwhoring ways? Well, let's just say my expectations of pining were UP THERE.

Sidney Carver is the sort of heroine I love. She knows what she wants and she goes for it. Though considering how long they've been friends, and how Gunny has no problem bringing his highly conquests to the home they live in together, and their thin walls, I was curious to see how they'd go from 0 to 60. And luckily it didn't disappoint. Their slow burn was definitely a believable one. Watching Gunny's blinders be taken off with each passing day and seeing his realization that he may have friend zoned Sidney, but now that he's woken up, he realizes what an idiot he's been was seriously satisfying.

This was cute and steamy, though a touch too sweet for my particular tastes. But don't get me wrong, I still read this in one sitting. It was certainly enough to hook me on this author who I have clearly been sleeping on, and thoroughly investigating her backlist.

If you like feel good, light hearted friends to lovers romance with plenty of swoon and steam, this will do the trick nicely. And you can easily read it as a standalone, which was fantastic for me.

I know when I dive into a Melissa Foster book I'm in for a good time, and this book was no different. I loved Sidney Carver and Dwayne “Gunner” Wicked's friends to Lovers story, This one had all the feels!

Sidney and Gunner became instant friends from the moment they met and when she was injured in the MARINE'S which ended her Military Career it was a no brainer for him to finish out his contract with them and not reenlist. Gunner's goal was to open an Animal Rescue with Sidney at his side and he'd do everything in his power to help her recover, and that is exactly what he did.

Sidney is so in love with Gunner but she's at a loss because he can't see her beyond their friendship and considers her one of the guys so she cooks up this plan to get his help in winning over his cousin., which she's hoping will open his eyes a bit.

This story has everything you want in a read, lots of laughs, some tears, great friends and family, adorable pets, and tons of steam. I recommend this to everyone that enjoys Steamy Contemporary Romances, Friends to Lovers, or MC Romances.

Happy Reading!!!

This was such a wonderful read here. Crazy Wicked Love is the third book in her current series "Dark Knights at Bayside" and it was beyond delicious. I always get a kick out of Melissa Foster, and in this novel she really delivered such a solid read. I admired the way in which Foster built up the friends to lovers romance here with a twist of unrequited love. I really adored how both characters are ex military and veterans and seemed perfect for the week of Veteran's Day. Which was NOT done on purpose haha it was a happy coincidence. There is something about unrequited love that just works for me. I do adore a pining heroine, and yeah I like it more than pining hero in many ways.

Crazy Wicked Love really delivered all the sexy badass vibes. I really loved how she just charmed my socks off here. I really adored seeing the heroine work her way into the hero's heart. There is such a strong friendship between them, but seeing the way that the heroine just was so hurt in trying to get something more between them was heartbreaking at times. You can just feel the emotion coming off of her in wanting to have the hero not just as a friend, but as a romantic partner. I loved the way in which she builds jealousy in the hero and makes him wake up to what is between them, the chemistry that has always been beneath the surface.

I have to admit that this book just worked out so well for me, and even though it wasn't a full five-star read (which I think is more on me, I have been struggling of late getting fully into books) but I was so swept away by the sexy emotion in this one. If you are a fan of Melissa Foster or just sexy contemporary romance, you definitely need to grab these up!

Why is The Wicked: Dark Knights at Bayside Series so freaking good ?!?! I enjoy all the different Melissa Foster books/series I've read, but there's just something about this one, whether it's the Wicked brothers themselves or the quality of the women they fall for, that makes this series special.

"I have a feeling I'm never going to get enough of you, Sidney Carver."

Sidney has fallen madly in love with her best friend, roommate and boss Dwayne "Gunner" Wicked. Unfortunately, Gunner is a player and has never shown interest in her as more than a friend. She decides she needs to try something drastic to get his attention, or finally move out and move on. Sidney pretends she has feelings for Gunner's playboy cousin and asks Gunner to be her wingman to help in hopes of it opening his eyes to her. Her plan ultimately works, but will her dishonesty at the start and insecurities be more than just a speed bump in their relationship.

"I can't even describe what it was like. Kissing her, holding her. It fucking changed everything. It changed who I am."

Crazy, Wicked Love
is a solid romance with likeable characters and a multiple lovable animals who continually steal your heart from the beginning. I have zero complaints, there is no over the top drawn out conflict, there's no man whoring from our playboy Gunner once the story starts, and it's a slow burn with a great pay-off. Sid and Gunner are both strong, loyal, dependable, caring characters who act like a happily married couple minus the bedroom intimacy. They are comfortable in each others person space playful with each other, seriously my mind is blown at how Gunner was able to keep his feelings for her locked down. Since the military, they have both dedicated their lives to taking care of animals in needs and have a surplus of furry friends living with them that will warm your heart. I loved watching Gunner acknowledge the feelings he had locked away because losing Sidney's friendship would destroy him. When he can't take it anymore the result is explosive, and he can't keep his hands off Sid and 100% in it for keeps.

"He captured her mouth in slow, drugging kisses, imprisoning her in a web of arousal so thick and pleasurous, she wanted to live in it."

Crazy, Wicked Love
by Melissa Foster is a Friends to Lovers romance filled with sexual tension, a slow burn, flirty gym sessions, laughter, furry friends, beach dinners, photoshoots, off the charts steam, and family.

P.S. While Gunner & Sid's romance didn't bring tears to my eyes the ending at Tank & Leah's wedding did, if you haven't read their story, The Wicked Aftermath, I recommend you go do that😭

"Men are complicated, but when a wild one settles down, you know they're all in, heart and soul, because they found their special person more exciting, more grounding, and more everything than anyone else who has crossed their path. They've found their ride or die, and let me tell you, those men are worth the wait."

I'm gonna break it down for you with this series. Gods honest truth because that is what you should want to hear. Tank is going to stay my ride or die. I loved Tank. But...that doesn't take away from all the alpha goodness that is Gunner. First his name, I mean, Gunner. It just screams hot, alpha, tatted biker hotness. And, he was. Second. I am going to marry Tank but I'm going to work for Gunner at his animal rescue and be besties with Sidney. She is everything and all that wrapped up in unpretentious jeans and converse sneakers. She and I could definitely rock a movie night.

They were military besties, attracted to each other but friends at their core. He watched her get hurt and changed his life to better hers. He made sure all her dreams would come true and by doing that he also ended up doing something perfect for himself. That combined with an animal rescue, a calendar, the sweetest ever photos, and some seriously alpha sex...hell yes!

So, I've chosen my fav. I can admit it. But all the Wicked men are just that, wicked but in the softest way I've read when it comes to bikers.

5 Star Review of Crazy Wicked Love (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside #3) by Melissa Foster

It was wonderful to be back in Bayside with the Wicked family, for me a book in this series is like coming home to family and friends. This is Dwayne “Gunner” Wicked and Sidney (Sid) Carver’s friends to lovers story and it was a fabulous addition to the series.

From the first chapter I was hooked on the story that Ms.Foster wove. Her characters are so realistic and well developed and easy to relate too that you cannot help but become invested. As I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster book, this was extremely well written.

Gunner ticked all the boxes for me, particularly as he works with Sid at the Wicked Animal Rescue. A man who loves animals, he is totally swoon worthy; he does his best to protect those in need and the vulnerable.

Sid has been in love with her boss, best friend and roommate for ages but Gunner only sees her as a friend. Can she convince him that they could be more than friends and show him that she is the woman for him? Can they move from friends to lovers without putting their friendship at risk?

I loved the journey they travelled as they went from friends to lovers. Crazy Wicked Love is witty, romantic and full of love and left me with a smile on my face.

Crazy, Wicked Love is book #3 of the contemporary romance series The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside

What do you do if the man you love seems only to see you as a cool dude? Sidney and Gunner were in the Marines together. They became firm friends but when Sid and her dog were injured, Gunner left the Marines too. He set up a pet rescue centre for them both and created a home for Sid and the animals that they both loved.

Gunner is so comfortable in his life with Sid that she forces his hand when she asks him to be her wingman as she sets her sights on finding romance. Suddenly Gunner can’t stand the thought of Sid with another guy.

This was a fun story and if you are an animal lover then there are also plenty of secondary characters to enjoy as well.

Crazy, Wicked Love by Melissa Foster is a heartwarming and entertaining friends to lovers read.

I enjoyed the storyline, it's well written, well paced and I loved watching the relationship unfold between Gunner and Sidney.
The friendship between them made it easy to see how much love they had for each other, and how much they wanted to be in each others lives and not just as friends. It made my heart smile when they took that step to something more, the chemistry between them was smoking and I loved them together.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. In Crazy Wicked Love, the third installment of the Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside, Foster delivered a fun and steamy friends to lovers romance that will enthrall readers from start to finish.  She knocked this one out of the park.

Sydney and Gunner are the best of friends. They have been friends from their days in the in the military. Now that they both left the service, they are full filling their dreams of running an animal shelter. But not only do they work together, they are roommates.

They know each other’s secrets except for one. Sydney has fallen hopelessly in love with him and knows they would be good for each other. Sydney and Gunner make such a great team. Everyone that knows them knows they are meant to be, but Gunner showed no interest beyond friendship. Sydney then decides she needed for him to see her as more than a friend and so she sets her plan in motion.

Crazy Wicked Love was a fun and sexy read. This beautifully written story captured my heart and I read it in one sitting. Sydney and Gunner were wonderful characters and I couldn’t get enough of them. They shared a beautiful and heartwarming friendship. Their banter and the way they were so comfortable around each other is one of the many things that made this story so special. They clearly cared for each other, and their chemistry was off the charts. It warmed my heart to see how they always had each other back. So despite Gunner not keen on Sydney’s plan, he helped her. After all, that’s what friends do. His reaction to her plan, though, was priceless.

They shared a powerful connection, which made their transition from friends to lovers smooth and natural. Seeing Gunner’s romantic side coming into was a delightful experience. It made for some swoon worthy moments. Their romance was fun and sexy and it had m smiling throughout.

Overall, Crazy Wicked Love proved to be a beautiful story of friendship, family, and love.

Crazy Wicked Love is such a sweet and swoony friends to lovers story- another great addition to the Wicked world! Melissa Foster always leaves a smile on my face and my heart full, and this sweet, sexy, and adorable love story was the perfect escape.

I really love friends to lovers stories, and Gunner and Sid are such likable characters. Relatable and captivating, you can’t help but root for them both as they figure their relationship out. Gunner is just delicious- a sexy, disciplined and protective man who loves animals?! And a former marine. UHM YAS PLEASE- sign me up for that. He’s got such a sweet and caring heart- with just the right dash of alpha edge. And I loved Sid and felt so much for her as she’s been pining for her bestie Gunner, the man so deeply intertwined in her life (boss, roomie, bestie). I found her journey to get Gunner to see her romantically was so endearing. And I also respected that Gunner was so hesitant because he loves his best friend so much.

The chemistry is friends to lovers perfection- we see the deep and powerful connection between them, the emotional complexity of their relationship, how perfectly they fit. Their progression to more than friends feels so natural because of it, the magic of watching two loyal friends explore their soulmate bond and shift into a romantically intimate space. I loved their banter, their vulnerability, and their connection. Their romance has lots of swoony moments and emotional ones, too. Not to mention, I loved all the animal compassion and fun in this story. I have a real soft spot for characters that are so devoted to animals.

Another delicious and well told Wicked story- a great read from start to finish and leaves your heart full of happy butterflies.

Crazy, Wicked Love is another wonderful addition to the Wicked series. The love and loyalty of the Dark Knight community is heartwarming and inspiring. I wish I lived in a close knit community like they have.

The overprotective alpha males of the Wicked family are some of my all time favorite characters.

Gunner's love for his family and for animals help make him an excellent book boyfriend, but his friend-zoning the one woman who means the most to him is beyond frustrating. I'm glad he finally started opening his eyes to what was in front of him.

I enjoyed the tough and soft sides of Sid. I do wish she would have come clean about her feelings to Gunner sooner, but with how much they were in each other's lives and lived together, there was a lot to lose if things did not work out.

Crazy, Wicked Love was a good book to snuggle down and read. The one I really can't wait for is when Mads gets her story. I can only imagine how her brothers and cousins behave.

I received this story as an Advance Reader's Copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

Crazy, Wicked Love was the third book in the The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series by Melissa Foster. It was one of her many in the Love in Bloom series, but does not have to be read in order.

Gunner and Sidney were best friends, roommates and co workers in Wicked Animal Rescue, having met in the military. They were loyal to each other but had never ventured into a romantic relationship, not wanting to jeopardize their strong friendship. Crazy, Wicked Love was the quintessential friends to lovers theme with both sweet and sexy moments.

Gunner was the player and Sid was more selective but in the end neither could find someone to live up to the other. It was time they needed to move forward with or without each other and Foster took us through the challenges getting to that point. As expected, the Wicked family and friends that we’ve come to love were front and center. There are still many more stories to tell but Madigan Wicked is up next in The Wicked Truth.

I’ve been waiting and hoping that Sidney and Gunner would get their own happily ever after having met them in earlier books. Melissa Foster did not disappoint with this one, I loved it! It was everything I had hoped for and more.

The interactions between these two had sparks flying long before either of them gave in to them and once they did let the feelings come to the surface the interactions were smoking hot with off the charts chemistry.

Crazy, Wicked Love by Melissa Foster is book Three in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside Series. This is the story of Sidney Carver and Dwayne "Gunner" Wicked. I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one, but I did think you could make it a standalone if you really wanted to. Sidney and Gunner have been friends for a while. They have been in the military together and even had lived together but Sidney was placed in the friend zone for a long time. But now she wants Gunner to see her as a women and comes up with a plan to open his eyes. But can this plan work toward their happy ending? Love Ms. Foster's books!

Overall: 5 / 5

There are certain authors that I absolutely love, and I’ll grab their newest release without reading the book’s description. I just know that whatever the story, I’ll love it! Melissa Foster is one of my go-to authors as there’s not one story that I haven’t cherished. Therefore, I dove into Crazy, Wicked Love, excited for some sexy, alpha men with hearts of gold.

Crazy, Wicked Love is the third book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series, and it tells the story of Dwayne “Gunner” Wicked and Sidney Carver. Gunner and Sidney are best friends who met in the Marines, and now they’re roommates and work together. Sidney is secretly in love with Gunner, who happens to have a revolving bedroom door.

Gunner and Sidney’s story was well written, captivating, and a real page-turner! Not much could have pried me away from this fantastic slow-burn romance!

A Wickedly Fun, Sweet and Sexy Friends to Lovers Romance Story!

Sidney Carver has been best friends with Dwayne 'Gunner' Wicked since they were in the military together, and the friendship they share is so fun and heartwarmingly beautiful.
But....
What happens when Sidney wants out of the 'Friend Zone' Gunner placed her in when they met?
Will he finally wake up and see what has been in front of him all this time?
Or.....
Will the fear of losing his best friend hold him back?

Full disclosure this is probably one of my favourite 'EVER' friends to lovers stories.
Sidney and Gunner I absolutely adored, they are literally bestie /couple goals.
The banter between them, their shared love of animals, the loyalty they have, the protectiveness of each other, and the soul deep love they share was EVERYTHING. As I devoured their journey I laughed, I swooned (hard), I admired, I wanted to give Gunner a love slap across the back of the head, my heart squeezed through some family moments, and I rooted hard that they would take that leap and get a HEA.
And....
Yep Melissa Foster got a tear or (cough cough) maybe more out of me. aaahhh in this series she only has to mention frog and I'm done.
Now...
Let's talk 'The Wickeds'
Melissa Foster has created a world and characters you want to be a part of. I mean seriously whether it is through blood or marriage I don't even care, I simply want in. The friendships and the families are everything and more. The support, the banter, the playfulness, and the love between them gives me all the feels. I can't wait for more Wickeds.

Loved loved this read!
I highly recommend this read and entire series

Sidney has been in love with her best friend/roommate/boss, Gunner (Dwayne) Wicked, for years now. He may have friend-zoned her, but she never did the same. But now it's time for her to get her man. She'll need to do a little working around, so a crazy scheme to make him her wingman as she tries to get the attention of a fictional guy has been launched. It seems like the best way to go about getting Gunner to notice her as more than just his cute best friend who's like one of the guys he hangs out with. Will Gunner ever take the blinders off or will she have to move out to get over him?

Gunner has never wanted to settle down or do commitment since he suffered a great loss. But when his best friend, fellow former comrade at arms, Sidney, tells him she needs his help to get some other guy's attention, he starts to realize that perhaps he already had love, had for years, with the woman right under his nose. Is it too late for the two of them? Or can he and Sidney move from friends to much more as their feelings come rushing to the surface?

Sid and Gunner have the kind of chemistry and familiarity only the best of long-time friends have, and it made it all the sweeter for them to cross the line of friendship into romance. I loved how sweet they were together, how very, very deliciously naughty Gunner was with her, and slowly but surely Gunner realized how he really felt about his best friend. Friends to lovers can be tricky to write, can either be boring or even cheesy, but there Sid and Gunner's journey was the best kind of naturally developing feelings that can grow between friends. I cannot wait for more Wickeds and the people they fall for.

4.5 stars-- CRAZY WICKED LOVE is the third instalment in Melissa Fosters’ contemporary adult THE WICKEDS DARK KNIGHTS AT BAYSIDE erotic, romance series. This is former US Marines Dwayne ‘Gunner’ Wicked, and Sidney ‘MOS’ Carver’s story line. CRAZY WICKED LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. CRAZY WICKED LOVE and The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside is a spin off from the author’s Bayside Summers, The Whiskeys, and its’ numerous franchises.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Gunner and Sidney) CRAZY WICKED LOVE follows the best friends to lovers relationship between former US Marines Dwayne ‘Gunner’ Wicked, and Sidney ‘MOS’ Carver. Both approaching thirty years of age, Gunner and Sidney were once members of the same US Marine Unit but upon their ‘retirement’ started an animal rescue and rehab business together, but as time went by Sidney Carver started falling in love with her best friend, and watched from the sidelines as Gunner Wicked entertained a long parade of various women. Knowing she would never be the type of woman Gunner could love, Sidney devised a ‘scheme’ to make Gunner jealous, a scheme that potentially involved Gunner’s cousin Zander. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Sidney and Gunner, and the potential fall-out as Sidney reveals the truth sending Gunner into a spiral of betrayal.

Sidney Carver and Dwayne ‘Gunner’ Wicked are best friends; co-owners of Wicked Animal Rescue, and members of the same former US Marine Unit but Sidney is tired of all the women in and out of Gunner’s life, knowing she will never be enough for our story line hero. Gunner Wicked fears losing his best friend if crosses the proverbial line from friendship to lovers but jealousy is a constant companion every time someone acknowledges the woman with whom he will fall in love.

The relationship between Gunner and Sidney is a best friends to lovers relationship in which Gunner is oblivious to Sidney’s attraction and desire for more. When Sidney asks for advice to flirty and pick up Gunner’s cousin, Gunner sees red, and makes it his mission to claim Sidney as his own. The $ex scenes are erotic, passionate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

As per Melissa Foster’s style of writing, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters from the previous story lines as well as the numerous cross-over and interconnected series.

CRAZY WICKED LOVE is a wonderful story of friendships, relationships, family and love. The premise is emotional and captivating; the romance is seductive and hot; the characters are engaging, animated and spirited.

Crazy Wicked Love is book Three in the Wickeds at Bayside series by Melissa Foster. This story is a friends to lovers/roommate/ex-military/slow-burn romance.

Every time I think, "this is my favorite Foster hero. This one I love the most," but then Melissa Foster comes up with a new one, and I fall all over again. Dwayne "Gunner" Wicked, welcome to K's harem of book boyfriends!

Gunner is perfect! At first, he was Sydney's best friend, but unknowingly he was so much more. It took him a while to figure out his true feelings, but when he did, it was like a blossoming flower, and he got even more perfect.
Sydney is a heroine that gives me a lady boner! She is tough and strong, but at the same time, she has a soft and feminine side. I loved seeing her discover this side of her.
Sydney knew what/who she wanted and took the matter into her own hands like the warrior she is.
Sydney and Gunner have a connection like I haven't seen before. It was special, unique, intense, and magnificent to witness them come together. I thought they were close as friends, but they were even closer when they became a couple. They had this easygoing relationship, they knew each other on a soul level and knew what the other person needed without talking about it. It's hard for me to explain, but Melissa Foster has it translated exceptionally well on the pages.
The steamy scenes were deliciously sexy and descriptive and in authentic Foster style. Let's say that everything we have ever read about Gunner is true.

I made so many fur friends in this book. They were all so adorable and unique and sweet. I wish I could visit Wicked Animal Rescue and adopt them all (including hero and heroine)

I'm going to be really honest, this book was friends to lovers and slow burn, neither of them is my favorite, BUT I LOVED CRAZY WICKED LOVE. It's a wild ride filled with the sweetest animals, family, friends, emotions, steam, humor, angst, and a unique connection that runs deeper than anyone can imagine. It's true love hidden in the form of a friendship that slowly shows its true form. When it's there for everyone to see, it's a magnificent kind of love.
Reading Crazy Wicked Love is an exceptional experience, it fills your heart and soul with love. Read it, I promise you will love it!

I received an ARC from the author but am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the third book in this series, but as any Melissa Foster will know, all her books link together and so you will be able to catch up with friends from other linked books too. I was so looking forward to Gunner getting his HEA, after his brother Tank finally fell in love last time around. After the death of their sister, both had sworn off love, as it hurt too much, but slowly they are finding relief in love, rather than pain.

Gunner and Sidney met in the Marines and have been super close ever since. They work together and live together, but have never had a romantic relationship. Sidney is deeply in love with him, but he seemingly has no clue, and leads the life of a player under the same roof. Determined to sort the situation out one way or the other, Sidney decides to try and make him see her as a woman.

To pretty much everyone else, they are two people clearly in a committed relationship already and destined to be together, it is really just the two of them preventing themselves moving from friendship to intimacy.

We have a fun time with all of the Wicked clan and their friends in Bayside. I also really enjoyed the side stories of the dogs in their rescue centre, and the collection of pets that they have around the house - Twinkle's adventures are really funny.

I love that we get both sides of the story, and have to acknowledge that Gunner's not realising how he is hurting Sidney by not seeing her as a possible partner is not through lack of interest, but more due to her absolute importance as his best friend. Once he wakes up to the reality, he proves to be just as competent as his brothers, and father at being all in - thank goodness! The route may not be smooth, but he makes up for it for sure.

Another really lovely and unputdownable story, and be prepared for a few teary moments towards the end - particularly if you have read Tank and Leah's story. Beautiful !

***5 Stars***

It is so hard not to fall in love with these characters. Even when they do things that make my eyes roll and have me growling, I still love and adore them and can’t stop turning the pages to see what will happen next.

Obviously, I loved and adored Sidney and Gunner, and how could I not? These two are simply good people with good hearts, are charming, honorable and work with rescue animals to get them happy, healthy and into good homes. What’s not to like?

And as for their journey to their HEA? It was all kinds of fun, frustrating, but fun. There was no doubt from the start that they were perfect for each other. Their bantering was a lot of fun and they knew each other inside out, so it was fun to watch as the friend zone lines started to blur and then disappear all together. While this one is pretty low on the angst, there are a moments that hit both of them hard, but I loved how things were worked out and where they were at in their relationship in the end.

As I said, it’s hard to not fall in love with these characters. They all have their quirks, but they are simply good people with huge hearts. As for any triggers, there are situations that come up that could hit some readers hard, but if you have read the others books in this series, you already know what they are. I loved catching up with all the Wickeds, Dark Knights and their families and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.

Have Mercy!! (If you are a 90’s kid, that was totally said in Uncle Jesse’s voice.)

This book was… steamy and heartbreaking and emotional and hot and teasing and delicious and sexy and did I mention an emotional rollercoaster!?

A lot of Melissa Foster’s books have a theme – boy likes girl, girl likes boy, BAM. Relationship, chemistry, hot and steamy, happily ever after. Don’t get me wrong; I love a good romance that is simple, easy to follow and swoon-worthy, but Gunner and Sidney were different.

Immediately off the bat, we know that Sidney is totally into Gunner, but unlike past romances by Melissa; we aren’t sure of Gunner’s feelings and wow did that bother the heck out of me! I could not put the book down until I figured out what was going on through that man’s head!

As Sidney continues her “mission” to get her man, I found myself laughing along with her and even felt my heart shatter at some of the pain she went through as if I experienced it myself. Her journey was one for the books!

My favorite part of Crazy, Wicked Love through was being able to ‘see’ Junie and Rosie again! Those two girls are my favorite and getting to have them around the family (and all my big, burly Wicked men) made me smile like a love sick fool!

I think we can all relate in one way or another – at some point in our lives – to this story and I may have to put this one at the top of my favorite list because it was definitely one that I couldn’t put down! (I literally read the entire thing in practically one night!)

What a fantastic this one was, it was the kind of book that gave you all the feels. Also, this is the kind of book needed after an awful day. This story was filled with so much heart and soul as well as love. What Sid and Gunner are doing is commendable but, we love that their chosen professions change the lives as well as the people but, they're doing it because they have a passion for it makes it all the more rewarding.

We smiled and grinned throughout the entire story, so many precious moments where you sigh and then smile so more, this happens not only with the animals but, with Sid and Gunner as well.

Loved Gunner and Sid as friends as well as lovers. Loved how it was so natural and fun and the playfulness between them, and their constant teasing and comebacks between these two were awesome.

This story had so many wonderful characters and their interactions with one another priceless but, it was clear they loved one another with their all.

Overall, a beautifully written story with so many wonderful moments between the characters and the ones on their own. Glad that Sid and Gunner took a chance to build on something they already had a make something more permanent. Looking at from afar, it was clear they were meant to be more than friends, they were soulmates. This couple's chemistry was beautiful and oh, so endearing. Tons of sexy moments that made you smile. This one goes into the keeper pile to be re-read time and time again. We have to honestly say that Melissa as become one of our top favorite authors, she always has a knack of making you fall in love with all her characters in a book and not just a couple of them.

Gunner and Sidney have been through tons together. They were in the military and bonded over many years serving. Sidney gets hurt and returns home. Gunner soon follows and opens a pet rescue that Sidney helps him run now. Not only do they work together but live together as well. This setup to the storyline had me scratching my head for a minute and doubting this plotline, but it worked itself out!

Gunner had friend zoned Sidney when they were in the military. He is a playboy and does not want to settle down. Ever. Sidney, however, may have been friend zoned but never thought of Gunner as "just a friend". But to keep his friendship she never told him how she truly felt. She decides to come up with a plan to make him notice her. She tells him that she has a crush on his playboy cousin and needs his advice on how to get his attention.

Gunner realizes there is a possibility of losing her to his cousin. His revelation moments are cute and funny and make for some comical scenes. Watching these two dance around each other and turn their friendship into more was tons of fun to watch. There were some steamy scenes but definitely could have used some more! Very entertaining to read.

Melissa Foster has come out with another great read. As I have said many times, I love the Cape Cod setting in a lot of her books but this book, the thing I loved the most was the business the two main people are in. I am a huge animal lover and to have Sidney and Gunner running an animal shelter just made the book have an extra layer of things I wanted to read about.

Sidney and Gunner go way back to the military together so there is no dancing around getting to know each other. That is another big change for a romance novel. Usually, half the book is taken up with the two main people figuring out who the other is. Not in Crazy, Wicked Love. Sidney and Gunner served together and now run a business and live together. They know each other really well, having depended on the other to keep alive in the military.

Here the bigger problem is these two people already have a fantastic friendship and a business relationship, also. Which one dares chance that love will not work out and might even ruin one or both of those current situations?

Pick up Crazy, Wicked Love and find out what happens when two people have to take a chance - as we all do - with more than just friendship. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
I have been waiting for Gunner's story and I was not disappointed. This story is filled with laughter, heartache, and some pain, but in the end, he gets his HEA.
I am a diehard Melissa Foster fan and as with all of her stories, you can read this one as a standalone or as part of the series, even though they are all connected, you will not be lost.
I loved how this story brought the military and animal rescue together. It is what brought Gunner and Sidney together, they served together and when they got out of the service, they were best friends and she came along to work at the rescue.
This is one of those stories that you do not want to miss, you will be happy when you finish and sad that you waited so long to read it. So grab it, a drink, blanket, sit for a while, and enjoy all that is Gunner in Crazy, Wicked Love.

It is no secret that I love friends to lovers stories, throw in that this book is part of my favourite Love in Bloom family and you automatically have a hit in my books (pun intended)!

Sidney is in love with her best friend and has been for a long time. She has had to watch his revolving bedroom door from a front row seat and she has now decided to do something about her feelings. It starts with getting Gunner to help her flirt with who he believes she really likes, his cousin.

Gunner adores his best friend and without realising it has firmly set her in the friend zone despite his feelings. Gunner struggles with his feelings for Sidney when he believes she likes his cousin but tries to put them to the side to make her happy, little realising it's him she truly loves!

Queue jealousy and misunderstandings on both sides, followed by a story full of love laughter and friendship.

I love the Whiskey/Wicked books and this is no exception, Melissa really knows how to pull her readers in.

Highly recommended!

Gunnar is an integral part of Sidney’s life both in their personal and professional lives however her feeling for her run much deeper than friends. The time has come for her to either go after the man she wants or face the fact that they will never be more than friends and she has come up with the perfect plan to put it to the test.

Although Gunnar cares deeply for his friends and family he didn’t believe that romantic love was part of his future. When Sidney asks for his help to pursue the man of her dreams he is conflicted by his new feelings and needs to decide if the reward of being with Sidney is worth the possible risk to their friendship?

Fun and flirty I enjoyed seeing the evolution of Gunnar and Sidney’s relationship as they realized that opening their hearts to each completely would only make their lives fuller and more complete. Humor and heart combine into an enchanting story you don’t want to miss.
