these are wonderful stories if you like mail order brides ,and second chances at motherhood after heartbreak you will want to read theses stories it starts with Nora and jim who come to Pendleton when it was just begging to be settles , then there is darcy who travels to marry a man that has ;no idea what his mother did. this is a story of a girl who loves horses and has a way with them then there is aundy she is a mail order bride who is spunky and moves on after a tragedy happens on the day she arrives in town all are very moving stories and shows' how strong the men and women had to be to survive

A great series will keep your interest. Each story has strong willed women as main characters with distinct personalities. The author draws you in to their lives and emotions.

Stories of Strong, Enchanting Women
The women in these stories are strong and enchanting. I grew up in Eastern Oregon and I loved thinking anyone of these women showed the character of my ancestors. I smiled, cried and thoroughly enjoyed their stories.
