The story so far...
Basilisk encounters a mysterious being called Tower, who offers him a deal: find his lost fragments in return for power and glory. Tower imparts a mysterious ability within Basilisk, but even so, the challenge of breaking into Prisma Dimensions seems daunting. Basilisk seeks out Mint, a shady operator who knows the ins and outs of Neo Arcadia. She connects Basilisk with Huo Shu, a genius hacker, and the two come up with a plan to breach Prisma’s security, relying on guile rather than brute force.

Meanwhile, inside Prisma, Dr. Tan’s right hand, Nikita, interrogates the user Asmae about anomalies and glitches she’s been experiencing since the blackout. He performs a painful procedure to remove a code fragment that was embedded in her code base. But what is it?

Currently free to buy on Amazon, Hyper scape has finally returned. It is strange reading a tie-in to a computer game that I haven't played yet but it is enjoyable. These comics might be short but the story moves along quickly and seamlessly. It has a Tron feel to it and they seem to be leaning towards a longer part 3. 3 stars

Virtually a dystopia.

Dark horse comics freebie. Suitable for teens and adults. Good color artwork. The virtual reality is becoming more pronounced. The corporation is losing control and everyone wants a piece of them.
