"Seduced" is the story of Violet and Josh.

A whirlwind dinner turns into a drunk one night stand, and our heroine wakes up married to the younger but super famous hero. She then decides to run- but two months later the hero finds her and convinces her of his feelings.

Short, sweet, sexy. Enjoyed it.

I love Hope Ford! Another great installment of the Whiskey Run series! Finally we get Violet's story and after the tease at the ending of the last book I was ready for it. Thank god Hope Ford pumps these things out. How does she still make them amazing?

We have the town matchmaker, Violet, who crosses paths with football superstar Josh. Insta-love of course! She's a little bit older than he his which is normally not my thing but I didn't mind in this book. She disappears on him after their one night stand/accidental marriage and he hunts her down for MONTHS. I love a man who goes out and gets what he wants. I highly recommend this story and series as a whole.

STORY:
I am in love. I was so looking forward to Violet’s story, and it surpasses more than what I expected. Josh was so struck with love at first site. That man had it bad. I like the way he acted as though he couldn’t live without Violent and decided to go get his woman. Violet gave in her role as well it added more to the excitement of both characters. This was a good instalove that went at a very fast pace.


CHEMISTRY:
Their physical chemistry was satisfactory. It wasn’t very descriptive for me but still added to the appeal of the story.


SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
I have to say, I thought Violet’s story was the final book in the series. However, I was so excited to see Tate, Violet’s brother will get his story as Violet is still up to her matchmaking ways.


OVERALL, a fun Insta love series that I believe gets better with each book.

“I’m not signing the papers because you’re my wife... and I’m keeping you.”

Okay, so I really liked the "my wife" moments and the chemistry between Josh & Violet was amazing but the insta love kinda threw me off. Still , I felt like the ending was perfect and I liked how fast this book moved, so overall, it was a 3.5 star read for me.

Another awesome read in this series. This is Violet and Josh’s story. Violet has been playing matchmaker for her friends and now she finds her true love. She meets Josh by accident and offers her help with something important to him. She feels the connection and chemistry towards Josh and realizes that even though he’s a celebrity, he’s really kind hearted. Josh is instantly taken with Violet and loves her kinda and caring ways. After their one night together and she runs off he makes it his mission to find her again and prove to her they’re meant to be. This was a great quick read with an enjoyable storyline. The characters are genuine and have sizzling chemistry together. They only want what’s best for each other. A must read. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

So lovely!

There were so many things I liked about this book! It's the perfect length for a short romance fix, both main characters are super likeable and the sensual tension is sizzling!

I loved how humble the hero was, despite how famous he was, and how determined to go for the woman he loved. There is no question with this hero, he is true to this all through the book. I liked how empathetic and helpful she was, and overall just a very nice human being, with some normal stuck ups. Both characters had a little story, their traits developed just enough to make the story work, with no unnecessary details.

A great, short read!

We finally get match maker Violets story and it’s explosive.
Football star Josh returns to claim is wife Violet.
The push and pull of these two in this short read is great, it would of been amazing in a full length novel.

I love that Violet finally gets her HEA, that Josh will fight tooth and nail for her, prove to her that she is what he wants, needs and loves. He is perfect for her.

Violet the matchmaking diner owner meets her match in Josh a NFL player, who is younger than her. She meets him while on vacation and helps him out of a jam. She doesn’t know who he is and he loves that. Their attraction is instant and hot. A dinner and lots of wine leads to them getting married. In a panic Violet runs. It takes several months but Josh tracks her down and pursues her hard, proving he’s all in with her. A big secret could undo all his hard work, but Violet has a secret too. She’s pregnant and Josh has been hiding the fact they aren’t married, the chapel never filled to marriage certificate! But he convinces her of his love and they get married. Cute epilogue with her brother, Tate and a bonus epilogue with a new baby.

Usually this author isn't for me but this one was short and sweet.

I mostly picked it up because I enjoyed Violet's character in Austin x Millie's story. So glad that she got to have such a cute HEA with Josh because he seemed so earnest and genuine in his pursuit of Violet.

The chapter where she was helping him cater the charity dinner was very heartwarming and it was nice to read a story where in addition to building passion and intensity between the H and the h, there was an undeniable compatibility between the two because they brought each other peace and safety.

I normally really despise Older woman/ younger man dynamics and was especially sus because Josh was an experienced football player but color me surprise when Hope Ford actually wrote this H to have integrity and respect for women and she left her misogyny at the door!!!
I would not be surprised at all if I find out that someone else wrote this story and she pasted her name on it bc let's be honest, a leopard never changes her spots the same way a misogynist will never stop writing stories where she gets off when women get hurt by the hero.

No OWD or none of the H using OW to leverage power games to show the h that he can do whatever and whomever he wants and she just has to deal with it. COLOR ME SURPRISED.

This is the fourth story in the Whiskey Run series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend they be read in publication date for maximum reader satisfaction. There are some reoccurring characters, plus this one is about the town matchmaker and diner owner, Violet.

These have been very fast reads, with a surprising amount of detail built in.

I mention the following for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow. There were only a couple grammatical issues, such as incorrect punctuation and incorrect word choice. I uploaded my comments to goodreads for anyone interested.

Violet, 30, runs a small family diner but headed to the city for some time off and meets big and handsome Josh, 24, in a gas station parking lot. She finds out he needs a caterer for a small dinner he is having for a young cancer survivor and she offers to help. She didn’t realized that Josh is a famous football player and after the dinner she stays to talk to him since that are both attracted and they are celebrating Josh’s new endorsement contract. They end up drinking too much whiskey and the next morning Violet wakes up in bed with Josh, wearing a wedding ring, and finds a marriage certificate in her purse as she hurries to leave before Josh wakes up. She doesn’t want to get involved with Josh and hurt because she is older than him and she is just a small town girl while he is a celebrity and decides to get a divorce. Will Josh be able to convince Violet that they can find happiness together?

I enjoyed this short story with the celebrity and small town girl and give it 4.5 stars. They were both attracted to each other but she is afraid to become involved. Violet leaves and returns home before Josh knows how to contact her. It was fun seeing their instant connection and how Josh wanted to make everything work between them. The epilogue was a great ending for their story.

The story grabs you at the first page. Josh is a pro running back and he is trying to find someone to cater a meal for his charity. He is up against time and is getting desperate. He needs to find a caterer quick. Violet is at the store to get gas and a a bottle of water. She hears the desperation in Josh’s voice and introduces herself. Violet is on a mini vacation from the restaurant and she agrees to help Josh with his problem. The characters are lovable, funny, entertaining and they just click. They have chemistry, attraction, electricity between each other. After the meal and after the guests are gone Violet and Josh talk. There is an easy flow to their conversation. Josh reaches over to kiss Violet. One kiss and then another. Josh is charming, caring, magnetic and so-o-o sexy. Violet is gorgeous, curvy, intelligent, spunky and sweet. They both feel the pull. There is so many things happening in the book - it is a page turner and you will not be able to put it down. What will happen once she finds out he knows? The story is dynamite, sizzling, sexy, entertaining, steamy, hot, humorous, passionate and steamy. The author did an amazing job with characters and storyline. It is a fantastic read!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
We read older man younger women but now it is older woman younger man and I love it. The chemistry is intense from the moment the two of them meet and Josh knew she was it for him and decided to pursue what he was feeling. Violet never thought she would find herself attracted to a younger man but here she is and after one night of passion she runs but if she thinks that will stop Josh, she has another thing coming. Josh knows they are good together and he won’t give up until they have given each other an honest try will they find happiness?

What a fantastic reverse age-gap! Another sweet and steamy insta-love by Hope Ford - this time the hero is a younger professional football player who relentlessly pursues an overworked cafe owner who is 7 years his senior. Violet is just any girl, working too hard, struggling to find balance in her life when she runs into Josh at a gas station and she volunteers to cook for a charity event after his caterer backs out. After a hot night together, Violet wakes up with a ring on her finger and a shaky memory of what happened the night before with the young and super studly Josh. Who seduced whom? She freaks out and disappears, but Josh has no intention of letting his curvy dream woman go. He knows he can make her happy, he just has to convince her! This was such a great quick read with likable characters, a cute storyline (my favorite trope!), and hot smexy times. Everything you expect to see in a Hope Ford novella ❤️.

This is book 4 of the Whiskey Run series and is centered around Josh and Violet. They meet at a gas station when Violet is visiting Jasper. She offers to cook dinner for him and a young boy who had just finished his cancer treatments. Josh is immediately all in with Violet and wants her to be his. Violet on the other hand is hesitant about starting anything with Josh. After a night of celebrating, Violet wakes up and discovers the two of them got married. She freaked out and ran away. Josh spent 2 months trying to find her to no avail until she sent him divorce papers and he was able to track her down. When he finally finds her again, Josh pulls out all the stops to show Violet that they are meant to be together. This was hands down my favorite book of the series! I absolutely loved Josh and Violet together but Josh was the true star of the book! I definitely recommend!

This is a wonderful, steamy, swoon-worthy instalove romance from the amazing Hope Ford, and you won't be able to put it down!

Omg!! Awesome book! Wonderful quick read. A HEA that is amazing!

I’ve been waiting to read Violet’s book!! It had me grinning from ear to ear the whole time. I love all of Violets’s matchmaking ways. Now it’s her turn for a HEA!

Violet takes a break from her job at Red’s Diner only to be at the next town over in Jasper. While she is pumping gas does she meet Josh Chambers running back for the Jasper Eagles football team. Josh is instantly attracted to Violet and she has no idea who he is. When she overhears his conversation he is having over his phone about his caterer not being able to make it. Violet steps up and offers to help Josh out. What Violet doesn’t realize is the connection they both have for each other. After one night with Josh, Violet heads home to Whiskey Run to carry on with her small town. After 2 months of searching Josh finally finds Violet, but Violet has something she needs to tell Josh that will change both of their lives.

By far my favorite story in the series. We get to see Violet working her magic on others in the previous books. This is her turn and I loved it. Josh and Violet meet by chance. She finally takes a break from running her diner. He is looking for someone to cook a meal for a sort of make a wish dinner and she offers her services. After spending the evening together drinking they decide to get married after too many drinks. She runs and he chases. I loved how all in Josh was - he pursued her even though she was throwing everything she could at him to prevent staying married to him. Very well written, quick, insta love, awesome chemistry and wonderful HEA. I can't wait to see what is next!

This is a fast paced love story with an older woman who has to learn that love has no age. They have one night together after drinks. The next morning she wakes up married and panics. When he receives divorce papers he finally knows where she went and sets out to win her back. These two have a lot of chemistry between them. Once Violet trusts her heart, she realizes that she cannot run from love any longer. I thought Josh was a great character who was determined after falling hard for her.

Loved this.

Violet is waiting for Josh to sign the divorce papers they got married the day they met and while drunk. Violet fell for Josh Chambers the moment she met him but feels she is too old for him so leaves in the morning without telling him and now he is at her diner two months later.
Josh can’t believe that Violet walked away and it’s took him two months to find her he isn’t going to let her go he hasn’t been right since she walked away. Josh asks for three days to show her they are meant to be together.
Three days weren’t enough and Violet still hasn’t told him her secret but Josh has one to but didn’t want to tell Violet until she knew they where meant to be together.

I mean, your husband doesn’t want you walking most of the time by the way he’s always carrying you around. I just meant I figured he’d be watching you around the corner or something.” “I’ll have you know I can do what I want...” The words no sooner come out of my mouth and my husband walks in the front door of Red’s bigger than life. “Violet Chambers, you snuck out of the house. You are about to have our baby any day now. What part of rest do you not understand?” My brother laughs and snorts. He loves seeing my husband get the upper hand. “Busted!”

This was an amazing book! I am so glad that we finally get Violet's book. I loved Violet and Josh together. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. These two have a chance meeting but Josh knew right away that he had finally found his match in every way. Violet can't help her feeling towards Josh but after one magical night, she runs away but that will not stop Josh from getting her back and keeper her by his side. I can't wait to see what happens with Tate! I really loved this book and I would recommend it, this series and Ms. Hope as a truly talented author.

Violet has been playing matchmaker for friends in town but little did anyone know that she was actually married to a professional football player. Josh fell in love the moment he met Violet. Poor Vi, she was too in her head and got scared of what she felt for Josh, which was totally understandable since he was a pro football player and 6 years younger than her. But Josh was strong and secure enough for the both of them. When Vi ran Josh chased her and made sure he proved that they were made for each other. 💜
