Sorry I couldn't rate this higher, as aside from the spelling and punctuation, it was pretty much what I expected... harlequin romance style. I couldn't finish though. I sadly figured there would be sex, but it really didn't have to be cheap and vulgar. I am so not a prude, nor does swearing offend me... I may be old, but I've been using worse words than the book held for years. I had been hoping to find a series that was actually based on shifters, not just boy meets girl, something with just a bit more plot. As I said, I sort of knew going in, so...
At least, if someone else expects more, they will know it's not here. If this is what readers want these days, well, here you go. If I had read through her book titles I would never have tried. I needed a book, and a new author, and I still do.
Gosh, this was an unexpected great series. It's shocking how much I loved it. Usually in a series I don't like one or two books but not this one. I loved them all. Rolan is my favorite though
I enjoyed the storyline for each of the Ravenhurst families. The editing was an issue…randomly repeating paragraphs, changing names or misspelling words. I would get wrapped in an adventure & be distracted by the errors.
I enjoyed the story lines, the family and those the family came to love. The editorial mistakes were distracting at times. Would have given it another star if there had not been so many mistakes.
