My father’s plan worked. I am now pregnant with a Bloodline vampire child, and he’s taken my men captive. The only person who can save them from a fate worse than death is…me.
To do that I’ll have to harness my new powers and walk into the one place I promised myself I’d never return to. To protect my lovers and my unborn child, I’ll have to kill my father and take the throne.
If I fail, I won’t be the only one paying the price.

Our heroine, Mina, went full-tilt brutal to do what needed doing, in order to save her mens and claim that coveted thrown from daddy dearest. Respect. 😂
This was way less on the erotica scale than the first two instalments, but that’s okay—shit got real and fast, and it would have been misplaced to be sexing it up with your three vampire hunks while survival was the true name of the game.
Still, I liked where things ended for Mina, Malachi, Wolf and my darling new book boyfriend, Rylan.
I was apprehensive at the start of the series, as to how this foursome would make a relationship work, and do so in a way that didn’t overshadow one lover over another, but I’m pleased to say it did seem to work well for all involved. I think a lot of this had to do with the fact that the men were all lovers, in their complicated ways, with one another first, before Mina showed up and magicked the situation with her epic seraphim powers. I felt the chemistry and feelings between each of the guys, while they each connected on a deeper level with Mina, and I’m grateful for that.
Despite the ramped-up action and solid HEA conclusion here, I think I preferred book two the best, but that simply boils down to my preference of Rylan as a character (who had the greatest page time in book two).
The series was definitely a fun, hella steamy ride and I love knowing that I can read more in this world in the latest series spinoff, starting with The Dragon's Bride. I’ll definitely be back.
I love this series, bloody Katee Robert vampires and smut. I don’t want to spoil the series so i won’t say much about the plot but this is a great ending to their story
While reading this I could almost feel how much the author just wanted to finish this series up so she could get back to writing her more popular Dark Olympus series. I however have firmly decided that I only prefer her non-fantasy-based books. Oh well.
this story was going fine throughout the two first books and i loved it, but this book was so bad. boring and it lacked scenes of them just being them. no offense i literally couldn’t care less about grace or the mission of killing mina’s father, they took up too much in this book and i skipped most of it. then as soon as everything happens the story skips to the ending four years later like what??? boring.
also dangerously lacked rylan. this was very disappointing for someone who has him as the favorite. too many malachi scenes when it shouldn’t. don’t get me wrong i love mal, but it didn’t feel like a relationship between the four of them anymore, he got all the private moments and sweet scenes, wolf had that one but rylan wasn’t even in this book! mina’s most used power literally comes from rylan and yet mal was the one who taught her how to use it instead? and rylan got what like a scene or two where he said bad inspirational quotes and that was it? nope, i hated it. justice for rylan, my mans deserved better.
the ending was alright and fit for their story, but the rest… just very disappointing. ugh.
This series opened strong for me and then kind of unraveled, so book 1 remains my fav. This series for sure needs to be read in order, it’s a reverse harem vampires romance. I definitely just have mixed feelings about this book. It has less smut than the others. We don’t have the group together until about halfway in to the story (after events from the 2nd book). Definitely blood play makes an appearance. I don’t feel like this series needed to be 3 books. I honestly just wanted to finish out the series since I was invested in the overall plot so that’s why I read this one when it became available as an early read through the author’s patreon. I felt like how the story went in this and the plot was just ok.
The best part of this read was the epilogue and the 2nd epilogue featuring the demon realm…we even see Sol who is in KR’s upcoming monster romance, The Dragon’s Bride, that I’m super hyped for! The fact that these series seem to be in the same world is exciting. That said, I do enjoy KR and read most everything she puts out but this series just wasn’t my fav as a whole.
I read an early copy of this from the author’s patreon, it has a release date of early December-ish 2021.
Since I already wasn't the biggest fan of the first two books in this series, you might ask why I even bothered reading Queen. Well, I'm somewhat of a completionist and just can't stand leaving series open especially if I just have one more installment to read. In retrospect, I should have just given up, though.
Not much happened, the plot was weak, the klimax was anticlimactic and wrapped up too quickly, the characters were annoying and, the most important or rather disappointing part, there wasn't nearly enough smut! So yeah, as you can see there wasn't much I liked about Queen but, sadly, this was still the best installment in the Bloodline Vampire series, in my opinion at least. To end on a semi-optimistic note, however, I thought the ending was rather sweet and wholesome. See, I can say something positive as well! Even when that is the only thing I could find.
Overall, I should have just given up after Sacrifice. —> 2 stars
I mean, this was a pretty fitting ending to the series?
As a whole, it was really lackluster in terms of the plot, but I still enjoyed parts of it. I feel like there wasn't as much smut as you would've expected to make up for the lack of storyline, so it was a bit disappointing in that regard.
But yeah, generally speaking, it was an ok ending- I really loved reading about the epilogue, however, I just wished that there was more to the book.
I liked QUEEN but I don't think it was as strong as the previous books in the series. It's a fairly solid end to the trilogy though the final battle against Mina's father was pretty quick considering it's been built up for two and a half books. I did like seeing Mina come into some more of her power but I do wish we learned more about her seraphim side. There was a lot of hanging question about what she was, how her powers worked, why Azazel was helping them, and what happened to Grace.
The spice is a little lower compared to the previous books as the MCs are focused on so many other things but I didn't mind this since it fit the overall plot. Wolf, Malachi, and Rylan were mostly focused on Mina and I missed the affection and intimacy that the guys would share. Overall, QUEEN provided a good conclusion but it doesn't stand out in the series.
Content Warning: past parental abuse, pregnancy, discussion of abortion
Unfortunately, I liked this book about as much as I assumed I would. It felt very rushed. Too much wasn’t properly explained and issues were too conveniently solved.
Though there were moments I still enjoyed and I plan to read The Dragon’s Bride and I hope it holds up 🤞🏻
3.5⭐️ rounded up. This trilogy started off with a bang (pun intended) but this last part was a bit underwhelming. Overall, I’d give the series a solid 4⭐️.
This is probably my least favourite out of the three. I found Mina to be quite annoying in this one and the dialogue quite repetitive. Did I enjoy the HEA though? Yeah I kinda did.
TWs: Dubious consent, blood, pregnancy, abusive parent (father, physical and implied emotional), patricide, graphic depictions of gore, murder, vomiting (cause: pregnancy), discussions about abortion, attempted sexual assault (non-graphic), attempted drugging, kidnapping, corpse depictions, and slut shaming
these types of books just bore me, honestly. there’s little to no plot with fucking every other chapter. it served its purpose but now i’m ready to dive back into fantasy.
Probably my least favorite of the series, because of the time apart from the guys - all the stuff with Grace and the demon... I'm excited it's setting up the monster series, though.
A fine conclusion to this bloody poly vampires romance trilogy 😁
Honestly? I couldn't care less for the plot, I was here for the emotional beats... And Azazel, of course ❤ The smut was steamy as it always is with Katee Robert and I can't wait for the rest of monster romance series!
Okay, well this series is reverse harem vampire smut with a a little bit of fantasy. I wouldnt say it was bad but some things were horrible and other i liked soo 3 stars but event that is pushing it
even though this book was more plot focused than the other two in the series, I did enjoy reading about Mina coming into her own and the vampire/seraph/demon lore.
i do think Mina should have slept with Lizzie, too. for the plot.
This is super bland and the most plot armor I’ve ever seen used. It could’ve been deeper had there been more POVs to understand everyone and their situation, emotionally and physically. The fires and their fighting, how did that go? How was their own personal battles? I’m glad it’s over. Don’t think I’ll be reading more from the author, this wasn’t really a good start or introduction. Easily could have been a three part stand alone novel.
