An excellent in-depth analysis of Berserk as a whole. This book takes us on a journey through Midland as we study the character of Guts and the people around him. It serves as a good exploration of Kentaro Miura's creative process and intentions behind Berserk.

I can’t comment on the original, a French version, but the (attempt at an) English translation leaves a lot to be desired.

The book reads like a rushed high school essay. I’m just sticking with it because it’s about berserk.

Such an interesting and in-depth analysis of the entirety of Berserk. Not just in its story, but in its production, background, relationships between the characters, and more, I absolutely enjoyed my time reading this. I learnt a lot, and it made me appreciate the manga more for what it was.

Quentin Boëton's writing shows he loved the subject he was writing about, and it shows in the analysis and style shown throughout the book.

For anyone who loves Berserk, and would like to learn more, honestly, give it a try.
