An Irreverent Look at Lincoln’s Life

As you might expect from the title, this is a somewhat irreverent look at Lincoln's life, from childhood to his assassination. Aside from the somewhat unseemly repetition of the “bad word” in the title, this is actually a relatively decent, if abbreviated, look at this influential president's life through the lens of his strengths. Each chapter ends with Lincoln quotes about the chapter's general topic. If you want a quick and easy read about this former president's life, you might enjoy this one.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Good old Abe.

This was the best book I've read about American Presidents by far, I can see now why this man was so revered by the majority if US citizens, he was more than just a president and the amount of times he was knocked down but got back up and got on with what he was doing.
