About the author

I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

WOW....Trudy has been through HELL and back! Her brother Ronnie is a jerk and deserves everything that he gets! I'm glad she met Dewey and things changed for her! The Crimson Tide is her support any time! And I think her sister Andi is looking at Spider! Great story! Thank you K. J. for telling us the whole story..

Awesome story about how Trudy became important to several MC's. Trudys life wasn't easy after her mom died. Her brother gets involved with drugs which starts her on her life's work to shut down drugs and cartels. Sometimes it's not safe for her. Action packed story with fantastic character's.

I loved Trudy's story. She is one smart cookie too bad her father and brother are despicable people who sold out! I loved her strong persona and how she was able to solve problems. The fact that she found love had me cheering her on to finally getting her chance for happiness!
