This book would have been so much more interesting if the cut and paste coronial findings and the judicial judgements had been omitted to develop more of the real life cases involving the coroner. Pages of text were devoted to excerpts that read more like a text book and often were very dry and repetitive. So disappointing!
Very repetitive with the storyline and then the coronial findings. It wasnt what I was expecting. The author seems to have done some excellent work in his specialist field and I was interested to read his recommendations for different types of cases and especially child abuse cases.
Skimmed it. More about the Acts and law reforms, how coroners and inquests work etc. Great if that's your thing but I'm more for the nitty gritty coroner reports
