Rate this book
A brand new Mountain Man adventure series featuring Uzziah Ferguson O’Bannon and Immanuel James Jones!

Immanuel, a grizzled Mountain Man, brings his pelts in person to St. Louis to get a better price. When he stops at The Growling Catfish to get a drink, he doesn’t realize his life will change forever. Murder, action and rolling adventure drive him along with his newly found friend, Uzziah Ferguson O’Bannon, into the wilderness where they must evade the law and seek refuge wherever they can.

Join Uzziah and Immanuel as they fight for the right to be alone in the mountains. Situation after situation schemes against them as they get more embroiled, taking them farther from their cabins, until, finally, they must dare to oppose a formidable foe. Will they survive?

Uzziah's Baptism As a Mountain Man

This was a really good story about an inexperienced man who through his friendship with a mountain man developes into one himself. I would definitely recommend it.

Good story

This book plenty of action. Interesting analogy about Geronimo. Good ending with room for conversation. The story is historically correct
