He continues to stare as the young girl hums quietly, while keeping her eyes locked on the book in her hands. At the sound of his footsteps, she suddenly stops reading only to look up and let out a squeal, one that he found adorable. Her already rosy cheeks become even brighter. "Hello." He melts at the sound of her angelic voice and says his next words carefully, softly. "Hi sweetheart." She tilts her head to the side as he unknowingly stares at her with a certain longing. "Who are you?" "I'm Seth. What's your name?" He questions, taking a step into her room. She grins, causing two cute dimples to appear on her cheeks. "Daisy." In which Seth Andrews, who is usually quiet and brooding, becomes captivated by his best friends little sister, Daisy Miller, who believes everyone has at least a little good in them.
The fact that every character in the book was turned on by her literal childish 5 y/o behaviour was concerning. I have read many sunshine x grumpy trope where the fmc is too innocent and sweet. Although it isn't my favourite trope but still okay to read but in this book daisy, the fmc has a disorder which makes her mentality that of a 5 year old. She needs to be babysitted everywhere, she always needs her brother or someone she trusts along with her everywhere. She doesn't know a single shit and spends her time drawing or watching moana. When I say she literally feels like a 5 year old then I mean LITERALLY. And our male character is 18 but behaves as a 30 year old. So their dynamic doesn't sit right with me AT ALL. I hate how everyone in the book knows about her mentality but still keeps on preying on her. It borderline feels like hitting pedophilia and it makes me sick. It also feels like the author is romanticising a disorder. It feels as if the author is romanticising a LITERAL baby behaviour portraying it as something our male characters find so sexy (there might be some truth to it but I don't like how it is romanticised). Also the plot is VERY fast paced. Like the mc meets her today and kisses her the next page. Idk bro it's just really weird and creepy how everyone around her was gatekeeping her and behaving like a bunch of hungry dogs. Gave me an ick.
It's a decently written book so anyone who is intrigued by my synopsis of the book can go ahead.
I was somewhat okay with reading this in the beginning. The characters, overall plot and everything were ok. But even with Daisy's trauma and disability, I hated how her love interest treated her. I hated how she forgave him for what he had said, even though it was one of the most out of pocket, rudest thing I have ever read in the book. I hated how he was in love with her, but using parental language to talk to her (kind of ableist). This book was also unnecessarily sexual. It was not needed and made me dislike the book even more. Despite this, I read the book at least three times. So there was something about the book that kept bringing me back (I think it is just because I liked The Light To My Darkness)
This is one of the cutest books I've read on Wattpad since Lilah. So sweet and adorable. Seth is absolutely whipped which is funny to read about but I love their relationship. And Daisy is so innocent. They both fit perfectly together. This book had me awwwing and squealing at every moment. I loved every second of it.

Rereading this. Was in a reading slump so thought I would reread my favourite Wattpad books. This was so cute. Daisy is adorable and Seth is absolutely whipped. I don't think I noticed this before but Seth was kind of an asshole to her a few times. I get why he was mad but he didn't have to say those things to her of all people. And Ava is so not as good as a friend that I thought she was. It's obvious she just won't quit going to parties and Daisy being innocent and just wanting to be a friend tags along both times. Other than those things, I still loved it. But my rating is 4.5 ⭐ instead of 5
What The Fawk I CANT WITH THIS BOOK BRO TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER “oH nO I mAdE hEr mAd. sHe hAs a RiGhT tO bE mAd bUt lEtS tAtTOo hEr nAmE tO mY cHeSt sO sHe cAn gEt hEr mInD oFf bEiNg mAd aT mE” GET SOME COMMON SENSE Does he has a fetish for people who act like little kids??? This book made me want to bang my head against the wall 💕
Hmm, very cute. If you count a supposedly "innocent" sixteen year old - who doesn't know the meaning of the words blowjob or boner but somehow knows how to wear lingerie and how to send sexy nudes to her boyfriend - as cute, then we need to check that dictionary some more. And that Ava chick, girl's the definition of bad influence. And god damn! Did we all see what Seth said to her about deserving the abuse. Shit bro, sorry I mean Seth bro, news flash, that's not soemthing you say to your girlfriend, nay to anyone for that matter. This is why I have trust issues. Let's not forget the "let me make you feel good for your first time in a tattoo parlor on a dirty desk" that's the most romantic thing I've ever heard. And don't get me started on her brother. Fella thinks she's a dog or something: daisy go, daidy stay, good puppy daisy. The poor thing has a "going out day", who the fuck does that to their sibling. Am I the only one seeing how messed up this whole book is. Cringe level: off the charts They say dont judge a book from its cover, well guess what, I read this book because it had a pretty cover. Now, I'm not so sure about that.
It wasn't that bad, had some personal icks while reading, for example, at the end And although some people really hated/heavily disliked Dustin because he I didn't really mind because he was drunk at the time, and no, I don't believe a tiny bit tipsy justifies his actions but, there is also the fact that he's an unbelievably overprotective big brother. (my big brother wouldn't even get me a glass of water)
This book gave me the same uncomfy feeling I got when attempting to read that one book (sinner? Saint? I don’t remember) I just didn’t like that Daisy was depicted more as a 12 year old than a 16 year old. I understand she has her disorder but the way that her being “naive” & “tiny” was so attractive to all of them just made me uncomfortable. Also, what’s his name? Uhhhh Seth? Yeah, he was an absolute bitch for saying that Daisy deserved the abuse from her grandparents. She never should have forgiven him and nothing will ever change my mind about that😐
I was vibing with this book until her brother and him got into that fight at the party then the day after she snuck out and went to the tattoo shop or whoever the fuck he worked and found him about to kiss that jade girl I think it was a misunderstanding but idk for sure cause I stopped reading after that scene 🤷🏽♀️

This book was cute but I was a bit uncomfortable with the idea that he fell for her even tho he knew her two days. But it’s cute to see that such different people can be in love. Sometimes it kinda freaked me out cuz she acted childish because of her disorder but it was part written as the book
Erm… I’m not sure. It was cute at first but when daisy’s mental disabilities came to light more I realised how strange it was of Seth to be the way he was with her especially talking to her the way he did but then wanting to be sexual… I’m not sure about it
