This story had me questioning the first part, but not in a bad way. I was dying in the first chapter about Dax having a bit of a tent in his pants when she first saw him. But hey, he is a man. Then we have a man on a mission that wants to find the woman of his dreams. She is a bit naive as to not realizing who he really is. You would think with her being so mad at the family she would know each person's name then put two and two together. But I love how Dax is determined in this entire story. You have a man that is a good but comes from a terrible family. When she finds out about who he really is and she runs out after telling him he's dead to her, what can possibly be done to correct this grave error of keeping his last name from her? Can he correct this and make her understand and get his and her a HEA?

A great short story without real drama and a sweet HEA. 😍😍😍Dax and Kate met by chance and Dax fell instantly in love with Kate. A tiny bit stalking and a 'accidental ' meeting later and Dax get his woman. But tiny lies and different circumstances threatened their HEA. But the hot ex-military guy doesn't back out of a challenge 😉😉 Sweet steamy, romantic ,safe and with a HEA👍👍👍

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
I loved Clay’s story so of course I had to get this one as well so let’s get to it Kate owns a printing company that she is struggling to find a new location due to her current building being bought out by Carlton Realtor so running into Dax this sexy as all get out man full of muscles but what she doesn’t know is his last name. Yep, you guessed it Dax comes from a very successful family and their success in in real estate and they bought the very building Kate has to move from so when they meet and go out on a date, she doesn’t know he is part of the Carlton Realtors. She is out and about she runs into someone who explains who Dax really is and she feel betrayed because all she wanted was for him to be honest from the start. Although in Dax defense he wanted her to know him not the company his parents own so will she forgive him, and can they work it enough to find their own happiness?

Kate has built her Printing business single handedly but it looks like she is about to lose it all when the building she is working from has just been purchased by Carlton Realtors. Worried that she is about to lose everything she has worked so far she hopes to appeal to the realtor direct when she is delivering invitations but of course her plan doesn’t got quite as she hoped when she discovers that she has no hope of talking to Mr Carlton she runs to the bathroom where she meets a man who steals her breath away, she doesn’t realise that he is part of the Carlton family so when she meets him again and agrees to a date it’s not long before her heart is his but how will she react to his secret and is there any way past his name?

Dax wasn't expecting Kate the day that she crashed into his life and when she disappeared as quickly as she arrived he was determined to find her. He knew there was something special about her and he wasn’t prepared to let her go, but when he discovers the reason she had been visiting his family home he realises that she may reject him and keeps who he really is a secret. But when she discovers who he really is and that he has deliberately kept who he is from her can he convince her to give him a second chance or did he destroy the love he craved with his actions?


I really enjoyed Dax and Kate’s story and thought it was funny, instalove with plenty of steam. Highly recommended read and I happily give this 4*.

Kate has been working hard to build her business and now it might all come tumbling down. Because someone bought her building and is evicting her business. Kate has been trying to talk to the people that bought the building but can't seem to reach them. So when the man she's been trying to talk to has invitation ordered from her business she sees it as a sign. However when she goes to make the delivery she still doesn't get to see the man. When she runs into a sexy stranger when she trying to use the bathroom she's drawn to him. Dax is intrigued by the beauty he met at his family's place. He ends up tracking her down and making another meet with her. Soon things heat up between them but Dax has a secret that he is keeping from her. Will his secret end things between them? Can Kate give him a second chance?

This is a great story that will hook you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Dax is the second book in the ‘’sexy older alphas’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writings style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Kate’s business is threatened due to someone buying the building, she isn’t happy. Whilst delivering something she meets Dax. Dax wants Kate as soon as he meets her but how will she react when she learns of the link to someone she dislikes?
The chemistry between Dax and Kate is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Wonderful, funny short story. Kate is dropping off invitations at the mansion hoping to talk to the developer to stop the building and destroying her business. She runs in the house to use the bathroom and finds the hottest guy who almost hits her. She takes off and Dax has to do some surveillance to find her. He has fallen for Kate the minute he sees her. Kate is smitten with Dax until she finds out who he really is. Then the fireworks go off. Great instalove, passionate and sexy story with plenty of steam. Perfect romance. Kate is dropping off wedding menus to a mansion in order to talk to the person trying to close her printing business. She runs into Dax while she is there. It never registers who Dax is in relationship to the family of the mansion she was in. Dax and Kate get to know each other but when she finds out who Dax really is, he may lose Kate altogether. This is a sweet read. I love the way Dax tries to do things for Kate.

Dax is a great fast read that will have you wanting to love him on one hand and wanting to shack you head on the next. Kate owns a print shop that is about to loose their space, when she goes to drop off items to the people that is booting them out, she did not expect to come across Dax. Only after talking with Kate, did Dax realize the misunderstanding and trouble brewing. When the truth comes out, it becomes hard to fix the lies.

Grab a drink and enjoy a passion and loving story.

She and her friend go to deliver some product to said developer who is not around. She meets Dax while there not realizing g who je is. When she fi ds out he is part of the development group what will happen? This is a short, instalove with some steam and a HEA.

By not admitting who he really was when it became obvious that Kate did not know his last name, he has set a bad example that lies and secrets are permissible. He should have told the truth, and his omission could very well cost him a relationship with the woman he wants in his life.

I would of enjoyed this book, only I felt there was no depth to it, it just seemed Dax is rich and what he wants he gets. Dax didn't seem like a good guy or anything. No back ground. Just that he bumped into Kate and that was his only concern. The book was just too short. The book could have been better if a bit longer. Sorry

This is a sweet and steamy older man/younger woman romance. Well written and quick to read, this novella is entertaining and enjoyable. Kate is a strong independent business woman and she meets Dax while delivering an order. Dax is ex-military and is immediately smitten with Kate. He will do anything he can to help and protect the woman who won his heart instantly. Can they find their Hea after Kate learns the truth about who he is?

The author has pulled us into the lives of Dax and Kate and does not let go. She owns her own business and is about to be evicted when she decides to confront the new owner at his own home. She runs into Dax at the mansion but runs out before properly meeting him. He sets out to find this woman of his dreams and nothing will stop him from having her in his life.

Instalove!!!!

Good short instalove book.... Kate business is falling apart and is getting bought out buy a man, that Kayte hope to see but wouldn't see her, she even tries other ways but with no luck she meets a stranger and they hit it off, dlfalling for each other but when she founds out who he is that when the truth will come out, and do they love each other enough to work it out....

Are there anymore? Where do I sign up for a "Dax" too? I absolutely adore Dax. He knew what he wanted from the get-go and never faltered or changed course. He's a grumbly, growly, protective, possessive alpha and he's great! I really enjoyed reading this book, it's short & sweet! It's a great escape from reality and awesome feel-good story!

Only problems ensue when she finds out his true identity, can Dax salvage this relationship before he ever gets to explain his feelings. A cute short read of an alpha man, making amends for his family business.
