Confined Space is a wonderful rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Coral is a single mother just trying to start her life over. When a terrible car accident brings Rowdy into her life.
Rowdy is a firefighter and the first person on the scene of a car accident. He was not expecting Coral or the feelings she would stir up in him. Now he just needs to convince her that they belong together.
I loved this book and all the suspense, sweetness, chemistry, and emotions it brought forth. A definite must read.

Holy moly right from the prologue you are trapped and never putting this one down. Every girl needs a Rowdy in their life. If you like insta-love, alpha males and a strong woman that can hold her own then this is the book for you. EM Shue has definitely not disappointed with this one! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Confined Space is a part of Everyday Heroes world but it can be read as a total standalone. I couldn’t help but be captivated by the amazingly written story and a raw, twisted, darkishly beautiful storyline – plot that the author so skillfully intertwined and told. The storytelling is powerful, raw, amazing and captivating with so much depth and heart. It was fast paced, full of twists and turns with such a beautiful love story that had everything I love: vulnerable, jaded, strong and fierce heroine, protective, vulnerable, complex, layered hero, plenty of danger, suspense, steam and romance.

Coral and Rowdy! Oh my!! This book was amazing in its gritty, gripping, riveting, engaging, darkish, heartwarming and heartbreaking glory. This is an emotional story that will hit you straight into your feels, wreck you in the best possible way and then piece you back together. are Coral and Rowdy are like moth to a flame. They are both flawed and complex. Neither of them in the beginning is looking for a relationship, but the feelings got intensified and involved. Their timing might be a little off because they both have so much going on and Coral just wants to live quietly protecting her son. Meeting each other changed everything. The chemistry and tension between Coral and Rowdy was everything. I liked them from the moment they met. The pace of the story added to their romance and to them figuring out place in life and new circumstances of situation. It was flirty, fun, touching, heartbreaking and heartwarming. I love they both helped each other heal, learned valuable lessons and how to move on from the past and truly start living. These two made me smile, laugh, swoon, cry and experience a lot of feelings along the way. I love the way they fell in love; that they love completely and all of their faults, broken, damaged pieces. Their love story is not perfect and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

When you try to get away from your past but it catches up to you and that puts you and your child in danger. Can you ever get away from it or will you have to give in and do the one thing you don't want to, give up your child?
Coral is trying to start over in a new town but with no family to help her. Her son, Archer, is the love of her life and will do anything to protect him from his father. She has very little money and no support to help her. She finds herself in an accident and a handsome firefighter rescues her and her son. All she wanted was to live a quiet life and not worry about relationships however Rowdy, the firefighter, has other plans. Can Coral get away from her past? Is she able to keep hidden away from the one person that is a threat to her and her son?
Rowdy cannot think about being in a relationship since his friend and her child were murdered years ago. This murder left his friend, Marco, in such pain that Rowdy does not want to ever live like that. Well, his thinking changes when he is the one that saves Coral and Archer from the car wreck. Coral has gone through it in life, and since she wants a better life for her & her baby, she decides to move to a new town to start over. I felt so badly for her throughout this story, because no one was there for her since her beloved grandmother died, and she has serious trust issues galore (COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE). Things are starting to look up when she's in a bad accident by a hit & run driver, and yet, this is when she meets a mouthwatering hot fireman, Rowdy. Rowdy thought he would never want to settle down until he comes face to face with Coral, and he knows in an instant that he's not going to let her get away despite her best efforts. I loved these two together but seriously, his mother and her new neighbor were just as great as they kept me laughing quite a bit because they sure wouldn't let her push them away no matter what. She's finally starting to warm up to Rowdy when her life all of sudden starts to tank like crazy, and her past is catching up to her which has her a flight risk to be honest (which I couldn't blame her for). So there's heat, humor, twists coming in hot, and maybe just maybe a happily ever after at the end of the day for Coral but you'll have to find out for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First-time authors for us we really enjoyed our first read by them. We really enjoyed the cast of characters. Coral was a single mom trying to juggle it all but, it seemed like she couldn't catch a break until she entered the Town of Providence.
We enjoyed Coral's character and that cute little son of hers called Archer. Loved that for the first time in what seemed like forever Coral had people in her corner looking out for her. Learning to trust doesn't come easy for her but, slowly certain women of the town are winning her over.
Rowdy was like a bulldozer nothing would stand in his way when he found something living and fighting for. Love at first sight? Not quite but, close to it. Loved the chemistry of these characters it was a slow sizzle-and-burn kind which we loved as Coral needed time to heal and trust before giving her heart.
This story was filled with a ton of emotion and drama, friendship and romance. The story took on a few twists and turns that added spice and suspense. The ending was anti-climatic and loved that the author added a second epilogue that was just perfect for this couple. Loved it.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Confined space is a book that is a part of the ‘’everyday heroes world’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Coral is a twenty one year single mother. She is just trying to survive and survive for her baby. With danger chasing her what will happen? Rowdy is a fire fighter that isn’t looking for love. When he meets and saves Coral, will he give love a chance?
The chemistry between Coral and Rowdy is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they were perfect for one another.
I loved Coral’s friendship and bonds with Joanna and Georgina.
I hated Melissa.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Rowdy has been burnt by love in the past, and the last thing he is looking for is a relationship, but he is instantly drawn to Coral. Coral has trust issues, but the longer that she is in town, she finds herself won over by some of the women. When Coral’s past comes back to haunt her, will Rowdy be able to keep her safe and protected?
This is a well written story which is an easy to read, emotional roller coaster, with twists, suspense, danger, intrigue, friendships, secrets, trust, undeniable chemistry, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

The first page grabbed my attention and the storyline kept me intrigued. You get suspense, surprises, mystery, action and so much more. Coral moved from Los Angeles to Sunnyville for a new start with her infant son Archer. She gets into a hit and run accident. Rowdy moved back to Sunnyville and is a lieutenant for the Fire Department. Rowdy rescued Coral and Archer and knew she was it for him. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next book by this author.

It may have left her injured but it brought Rowdy into her life.

Fantastic story!
WOW! Right from the very start this story had me on the edge of my seat, with my heart racing, not knowing after the first few pages if my heart was going to be shattered.
Coral’s heartbreaking journey is filled with drama, suspense, pain and love. She’s so sweet but completely innocent and my heart just broke for her. When Rowdy saves her there is this instant connection and attraction between them that was undeniable. Rowdy is the perfect alpha to Coral’s sweet innocence. Their interactions had me laughing and gushing with love.
There are many intense edge of your seat moments in the story that will have you holding your breath but by the end you will be filled with love.
It’s an emotional rollercoaster that is well written, with wonderful characters and an entertaining storyline. I loved every second of it.

Confined Space will definitely bring you a emotional rollercoaster. This incredible story will pull you from the begin when Coral packs up herself and her newborn and moves to Sunnyville. Now Rowdy has just move back to Sunnyville. He now the lieutenant of FD. But Rowdy life is about to change when he and the crew responds to a hit and run. And Rowdy rescue Coral and her son. But the instant attraction he feeling for her is something he never felt before so he goes after her. But she does not want anything to with him but he doesn’t give up. Their relationship will have ups and downs but it was wonderful journey watch them fall in love and see Coral trust Rowdy with her heart is incredible.

Coral and her newborn baby have packed up and is leaving LA and everything she went through behind and is headed to start over in Sunnyville. Rowdy has moved back to Sunnyville after leaving the Army, he has just been promoted to lieutenant for the Sunnyville FD. Sworn to be a bachelor for life because of tragedies from his past. When Coral is trapped in her car after a hit and run, Rowdy and his crew come to rescue her and he has an instant attraction and feelings he never felt before for this tiny woman and her son. Rowdy pursues her but Coral brushes off his advances at first but then caves. The relationship is intense and fast but Rowdy tries to go slow because he knows something happened to Coral but she refuses to talk about her past. I loved this story, I love how protective and persistent Rowdy is and how brave yet fragile Coral is. I also love their banter when he introduces her as her girlfriend and she says their just friends, I love his response every time.

This book had me hooked from word one, such a great story with twists and turns. Coral has her son Archer and that is all she feels she has room for. Her ex showed her hard lessons and she doesn't trust easily. Fortunately for her hot firefighter Rowdy Murphy isn't about to let her go once he sees her. When her past comes knocking Coral knows what she must do but will she survive this. I highly recommend this author and story, such a great story about learning to trust in someone other than yourself and opening up your heart to love.

Her ex showed her hard lessons and she doesn't trust easily. Fortunately for her hot firefighter Rowdy Murphy isn't about to let her go once he sees her. When her past comes knocking Coral knows what she must do but will she survive this. I highly recommend this author and story, such a great story about learning to trust in someone other than yourself and opening up your heart to love.

I want more, that's what Rowdy says to Coral and he has a tough job to convince her of it. She's had a horrible life so far, lots of people have shown her how mean they can be, but when she gets to Sunnyville, she hits the motherload of nice people, well mostly... Definitely a page turner to see what will happen next. Loved Rowdy's commitment and that he's all in when it counts and loved his nickname for Coral. Absolutely loved his epilogue, quite the twist in there too! Definitely recommend.

We start our journey with a woman in a box and she is buried alive. We don't know who she is. We don't know why she is. But she is, and we are trapped right along with her.
The story continues with Coral and Rowdy and their love story. They are both afraid of love and what it means in their lives. Coral is a single mother. There is a story there, but you don't know what happens right off. There is a lot of guessing on the readers part. Rowdy has not wanted t be with anyone, to love anyone. Until he first sees Coral, and then everything he does is to be with her.

Coral is a single mother needing a change, she decides to move to Sunnyville to start over and make a better life for herself and her son. Rowdy has just moved back to Sunnyville and is now the lieutenant for the Sunnyville Fire Department. When Coral finds herself in a car accident Rowdy is the one who comes to her rescue. Rowdy knows that Coral is the one for him, he just needs to convince her of that. Coral and Rowdy’s journey is emotional and filled with suspense, drama, intense chemistry, sweetness, and romance. A fantastic read and one I highly recommend

This was a sweet steamy beautiful read about Coral and Rowdy. They meet under the most stressful circumstances but their connection is instant and undeniable. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this thrilling, wonderful, adventurous love story. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. The lengths that Rowdy wanted to go thru to prove to Coral how much he loved her was so swoon worthy. This was a great addition to this awesome Everyday Heroes World. Loved this beautiful story and I can't wait to read more by E.M. Shue.

Confined Space by E. M Shue is the first book in the Prominence Point Rescue Series. This is the story of Coral Pierce and Rowdy Murphy. Rowdy is a firefighter who has seen what loving someone can do to you if loose them. So he has been stead fast in thinking that he won't commit to a relationship just to protect his heart. But then he comes to an accident where he meets Coral. Coral is on the run with her son Archer trying to find a safe place to start fresh when she gets into an accident. Enjoyed their story.

This was a really enjoyable read. Coral comes to Prominence Point looking for a place to start fresh. Rowdy is a rescue firefighter who does not want a relationship at all... until he rescues Coral from a car accident. Getting to know her, he realizes she's got secrets from her past and is in danger. This story hooked me from the first page and I really liked the main characters. It was exciting, a little steamy, and I can't wait to check out the other books to come in this series. I received a review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

What an amazing book! I am new to the Everyday Heroes World and I have not read any others in the series. I am so happy to have started with "Confined Space", this book was simply wonderful.
Right away from the Prologue I was on the edge of my seat with suspense. Rowdy and Coral were so good together, even if Coral was being prideful and refusing help at times. Coral was a mystery in the beginning, we know something awful happened but she keeps her secrets close. And Rowdy is feeling stuck, like change is needed but he doesn't know what. He figures it out pretty quick when Coral enters the picture.
The mystery, suspense, action, romance - it all made for a wonderful package and such a great read. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series but in my opinion this can be read as a standalone.

I am a sucker for a single mom romance so this had already had my stamp of approval but then the author starts you off with a bang right from the beginning and I was hooked. My heart was racing, the questions were swirling and then she introduces Rowdy and my world imploded. He went from not wanting a woman, to only wanting Coral. It was funny. The story moves quickly and packs a punch and it has the perfect mix of sweetness, steam, and suspense. I was unable to blink up until the end. I love how the author also brings in the characters we love from Everyday Heroes and she even mixed in some other characters from her other series.

Oh so good!! So I just recently stumbled upon E.M. Shue and how amazing her books are! I just consumed all of her Caine & Graco series and finally got the wonderful opportunity to read Confined Space! All I can say, is you knocked it out of the park!! I love how trading a series, they are all slightly intertwined but yet have their own plot, romance, journey to travel! And you get to revisit some of the characters you know and love! Love Rowdy, Coral, and Archer and I especially love the prologues into the future!! Can’t wait for more from E.M. Shue!!

LOVED this one! The emotions were strong throughout the story and had me fighting tears. My heart broke for Coral and all she's been through. Sensitive topics were covered very well. I loved the protectiveness that came from Rowdy and that pull he had towards her and her little one. The story has a great mix of edge of your seat excitement, tender sweetness and a sprinkling of heat. I was completely pulled in to their journey.

A strong heroine and a firefighter hero! What more could I ask for? Well no matter, Ms. Shue always delivers over the top, fantastic romance.

And always a plot that pulls you in and keeps you turning the pages, even when you may need to be doing something else! Ah well!

Confined Space weaves its way perfectly into the Everyday Heroes World and has you enchanted right from the start. It is emotional, heartfelt, passionate and at times heartbreaking. Rowdy and Coral’s story has suspense, drama and romance. A connection is formed between these two the moment their eyes meet. It is a sweet love story with chemistry that sparks off the pages and characters that steal your heart. Their journey to forever will at times have you holding your breath and on the edge of your seat. Rowdy will make you swoon and Coral will have you cheering her on for her strength and determination. An amazing story that leaves you with a huge smile and a full heart.
