***Standalone Romance***

Bookish librarians are totally capable of finding missing people in the Alaskan wilderness. Said no one. Ever. So why is Grace Tumbler jetting off to do just that? She doesn’t know. All she has are books and a somewhat positive attitude that she can survive her first-ever trip away from home. That is, until her plane crashes…

Sawyer Agnor, snow fox alpha shifter and mayor of Winterland, has one wish. Meet his mate. He knows she will be just as adventurous as him. Together, they’ll hike active volcanoes and make love in the rainforest. At least, that’s what he thought until Grace literally fell out of the sky. Fate sent him the wrong mate at exactly the wrong time.

With Winterland in danger, Grace will have to decide if she’ll spend the rest of her life living through her books or if she’ll join in the fight. Sawyer soon realizes that having a bookish mate might have been a hell of a lot better for his sanity. Because of Grace’s new and sudden adventurous streak? He hates it as much as he loves it. These fated mates are in for a bumpy ride on their way to each other.

"...danger is a papercut from turning the page too fast"

Grace is hilarious! Her internal monologues will have you in stitches, add to that her sassy humour and feisty comebacks to Sawyer and you have a lady you have to love. She is convinced she isn't brave, but every action she takes contradicts that and her loyalty to Piper blows a very dazed Sawyer away.
A great addition to the series, please tell me we will get more from this town full of quirky characters, they have welcomed us with open arms and we would love to keep visiting them. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

I was really looking forward tothis book, i basically inhaled the other two and wanted the third mayor to find his mate. I also love that it was the bookish introverted best friend that got her book. As a bookish introvert we can all dream to find our mate in life. She might not be as “badass” as her best friend in book two, and she might be more comfortable in a warm safe library instead of a freezing tundra but she is a loyal bestfriend who is brave in her own way.

In this book, the h comes (plane) crashing into our H’s life and he instantly knows she is his mate, even before he knows her name. I really liked the nursing back to health and earning trust elements in this story. It was also funny that he believed she was an adventurer given their meeting and his interests, only to come to find shes a shy yet sassy librarian who is more comfortable to reading smutty romances, is on a resue mission for her friend (Piper from book two and his co-mayors mate). He was hoping for an adventour mate he could hike with and camp with and isnt too excited by the idea of her being a quiet “bookish” girl but his fox is having none of it and wants her in any and every way she comes. She also relates alot of her thoughts to the books she reads and i feel alot of readers can relate to the idea of fictional exploration and book boyfriends that which makes the story really sweet.
We’ve all heard of the one bed trope.. But have you heard of the one spoon trope!?! Adorable!

Grace is also hilarious and relatable on a bookish spiritual level:
“Tall drink of Alaskan water”
“Sweet heaven, have mercy on my vagina”
“She liked tea, and tea came with cookies, lots of types of cookies” (YASS QUEEN!)

And Sawyer gives as good as he gets:
“Sweets, if you carry on, cooties will be the last of your worries”
“Sawyer would have given his left nut to know what she was dreaming about”

I really liked this book, Grace is sassy and constantly horny for him in a cute way, she thinks she knows what she wants being safe in her comfortable life, yet slowly she comes out of her shell for Sawyer. There is back and forth and inner arguing and will she, wont she, and usually i find that level of yes/no annoying since we kinda know itll be a HEA anyway, but i kinda like the inner monogue, especially when its performed so well by the actors. Overall the series is really sweet, a bit insta-lovely, butadorable with its found family and fated mate elements. The heroines are strong and hold their own and the heroes are protective nonetheless. Their animals monolouges are humorous too and add to the story. I also like how the actors make the story more immersive (their animals have their own voices as if they are their own characters).

I truly enjoyed this book, a shifter who was actually looking forward to meeting his mate, in fact Sawyer wanted the danger in winterland to be over so he could go in search of his mate. And as fate would have it, she falls (literally) into his arms. Grace is Piper’s best friend, and when Piper’s parents are notified of her disappearance and Grace learns about it, she tasks herself to go in search of her. She has to take 5 planes from her city all the way to Alaska. The last one crash landing in a storm close to her destination. Sawyer was fixing the radio antennas that were destroyed by the sick shifters, when the storm makes it too dangerous for him to be up there, he climbs down in search of cover. That is when he sees his friend’s plane going down. He rushes over to help, and sees that there is a human girl clutched protectively by the pilot. She’s injured and his friend asks him to take her to safety. Grace seems naïve and innocent, a bookish girl through and through, but what Sawyer finds is a vixen under all that; one in need of adventure even if she doesn’t know it. Sawyer enjoys talking to Grace, she’s funny, a bit crazy and has a wild imagination, Sawyer is the easy going mayor out of the three. He’s laid back and fun in order to balance out the grumpy one and serious one.
Fun story, fast paced with loads of romance and fun moments. HEA of course with bundles of joy on the way and a multiple wedding.🥰♥️

Grace doesn't do adventures. She leaves adventure thru reading books, at library, where she works and thru her friend, Piper. But, Piper is missing, somewhere in Alaska, so what Grace do, she is on her way to Alaska to look for her friend. If she can live after her plane crush.
Sawyer is fox shifter, one of co-Mayors of Winterland, he is happy for his co-Mayors, who found their mates, but he wish, he can find his too. Fate is better than that, he gets his mate, when she fall out of the sky.
I loved this story.

So sweet

Milly has brought us another great read from Winterland! Sawyer is the last Co-mayor who is more the carefree and adventurous one. Grace is the librarian who doesn’t do adventure at all. She hops on a plane to save her bestie and ends up finding quite the adventure! These two are such a sweet and silly couple! Fighting shifters and curing a disease and trying to keep your mate make this a great ending for the shifters of Winterland and such an enjoyable read! Highly recommend!

Perfect third installment

Loved Grace and Sawyer's story. What a delight Grace was shy, scared, yet brave and bold at the same time. Her personality was totally unexpected. Sawyer's expectations for a mate were totality opposite of Grace at least at first glance. Their hot attraction to each other proves that fate knows more than mere humans. The added danger and collaboration with the other two mayors and their mates made for an exciting book. Definitely a recommended read.

Icescape

Sawyer Annie the third mayor of Winterland and a Snow Fox Alpha shifter want his own mate. Dreams of an adventurous mate to sleep below a volcano , to travel around with. Gracie Tumbler is head Liberian of her home town. When her best friend is reporting missing in Alaska, she pulls her big girls panties up and goes to Alaska to find her best friend. The fates have decided Sawyer and Grace are fated for each other!

The epic conclusion

Andy Malone has threatened Winterland for the last time. And who has come as the ultimate mate to see him off? Grace is a librarian from a small town on her first adventure.

I think this was the best book of the series, even though Grace's part in saving the town mostly involved research. I liked Grace and Sawyer, and they didn't fight their attraction so much. It was more geographic incompatibility. Also, the plane crash was kind of brilliant.

Wonderful series

This is a wonderful book!! Sawyer meets his mate in Grace, Pipers best friend. But she isn't what he expected at first. Soon she comes into her own and helps with the sick shifters.
This story ties up all of the loose ends beautifully. The epilogue is adorable.
Read this whole series and fall in love with these characters too.

I loved the ending to this series. Grace does something totally outside of herself by traveling to Alaska to find her best friend. After the plane crash on the final leg of her journey, she meets Sawyer, one of the three mayors. He rescued her and the pilot and he immediately recognizes her as his mate. Lots of steamy romance and action and surprises. This is a great series and easy to read.

Im not sure if this book is actually better than the first two, but I could relate to the female main character a lot and I’m used to the environment and the other characters as well. That might be a point for the slightly higher rating. That being said, it’s missing actual highlights for me and it too feels like not quite enough. Nonetheless it’s a good entertainment and I liked the story.

I loved the bookish librarian as the sassy heroine. Grace really finds herself and she is so much stronger than she thought. Snow fox shifter and co mayor of Winterland Sawyer is going to have his hands full with her. Be careful what you wish for. This story is a total romp.

Sweet, sweet & sexy.

Sawyer is a very sexy, playful fox. Grace is a shy, wimpy, librarian. So of course they go on a stunning adventure, fight a shifter war, cure a disease, fall in love & have crazy hot sex. All in like a seven day time period. So, normal shifter romance. 😂😂😂

Sexy fox

I do love a sexy mate story. These co-mayors are so growly and hot. Our sexy fox Sawyer thinks he knows what he wants in a mate. But it isn't always what you want but what you need.

Brilliant Series

Icescrapes (Royal Claws Book 3) by Milly Taiden. Librarian Grace arrives in Winterland looking for her best friend Piper. That’s after surviving a plane crash and a night in a small cabin with Colin. They’re mates but Grace will take a bit of persuading.
