I love Viktor’s books and this was not a disappointment! Totally different from previous books that Viktor has wrote but still draws you in and you won’t want to put it down. The characters were amazing and you could relate to them through their journey of discovery (even if your own is totally different!) 100% recommend!

Blushing Maid is my first strictly F/F read. In true Victor Redreich fashion, the lead character whose POV the story is told through, goes through a sexual exploration. As Billie realizes she is a lesbian and explores a relationship with Alana, we watch them not only fall in love, but each navigate their first lesbian relationship. Although, Viktor’s books explore sex and the sexuality of the characters, the focus is also highly on making the experience authentic and insightful. Will you read about very open and raw sexual experiences, yes. And, although, it’s an erotic adventure as a reader, it is also a love story you are immersed in.

Billie is hired by Rich and Alana to be their housekeeper. She realizes rather quickly that Rich and Alana do not have your typical marriage. Rich’s business takes him away quite often leaving Billie and Alana spending a lot of time together. As their friendship grows so does Billie’s confusion about her feelings. Having thought of herself as heterosexual and now experiencing sexual feelings for Alana, she realizes that her attraction had never been towards the men she was with.

She opens herself up to Alana and they become wrapped up in their little bubble. And, for a time Billie accepts their relationship as is, but as they return to the real world, Billie wants to embrace her lesbianism. Alana is still so hesitant about societal norms. Billie begins to wonder if Alana was more taken with the idea of her rather than the reality.

And, then Alana makes a grand gesture that just might change Billie’s mind about moving on.

I was on a fence about reading this book for many reasons, but I gave in, read it and I was very pleasantly surprised :)
Apparently this is Victor's first F/F book and since he is man writing M/F books and I am not exactly a fan of stories with infidelity involved I was sceptical. However the result was surprisinly good.
Now I am not sure I will read the autors other books, because I don't realy read M/F books or thropes such as polyamory or cheating, but this book sure hit the spot for me.

The story was complex (because Alana is married to a man), but I didn't get infidelity vibes since their marriage was mostly for show.
Both Alana and Billie were very likable and relatable characters, coming to terms with their sexualities and falling in love with eachother in the process. Rick wasn't a horrible guy , but I wasn't crazy about him either.
The wrighting style was nice and lets face it the sex scenes were hot and steamy yet romantic and tender. I am sure many readers will appriciate that, I know I sure did. :D

The only thing I would change about this book would be putting in more dialogue and less inner monologue. There is perhaps too much time spent in Billie's head mulling things over and while I understand she had a lot of things on her mind and it helped narrate the story, the flow is better with more dialogue in place instead of being stuck in a characters head for most of the book.

That being said, I definately recomend this book, if you are a romantic at heart this will be a good read for you.
I sure enjoyed it and if in the future Victor writes another F/F book like this one, you bet I'll be there for it. :)

This book was pretty emotional for me to read . The characters all held strong emotions that you could feel throughout the pages struggling in there own ways.

Billie a newly hired maid for a well known rich couple Alana, and Rick begins to struggle with certain issues at once . The first night she is there she sees something that she isn't used to , or ready to see. Rick with another woman. Not knowing what to do , or how to handle such she knows she must tell his wife Alana about it. Alana , and Rick have an arrangement , and Alana shrugs it off , but for Billie it's much harder to do. Feeling that Alana is getting the raw end of the deal she becomes very protective so much so that she begins to explore other emotions she has found for her boss. Falling head over heels for Alana , and realizing she is a lesbian brings about many choices , and challenges that are like no other.

With Alana , and her husband having a influential group of friends, and the risk of getting caught what could it mean for all of them? Can Rick really support his wife , and the nanny ? Can Billie's family look over there old fashioned way of life?

So much is explored in this book , and many obstacles as well , but it does deliver a sweet hea, and even a rescued dog.
It has 5 solid stars for creativity, character development, and plot . In the steam catagory it gets a 3 .

Blushing Maid is not only beautifully writing story about Billie discovering who she is. This is the first book Viktor Redreich has written about f/f relationship.

Billie goes to work for Alana and Rick King. But soon she found herself feeling things for Alana and not know what to about it. But she finally embraces her feelings and her new sexuality. Their journey is amazing and beautiful. They had to find the strength to accept each other even though others might turn their back. Viktor shows how the real relationship would be. As far as the steamy scenes parts are definitely on 🔥. The ending is perfect for everyone.

The characters in Blushing Maid is incredible strong and fantastic. Viktor Redreich and Annika Hanson give us a wonderful, beautiful story the many people will love and related. You will going through many emotional reading this book. I can’t wait for the next book in this wonderful series.

So it started out slow because Billie was still trying to figure her feelings. It's funny how Rick thought this young woman can't keep her eyes off him. Then when she doesn't have any feelings towards him he just moved on with his many femakes that he sleeps with. Alana was a different type of woman and Billie didn't know what it was about her but she wanted to get to know her more. As the weeks go there feelings towards each other start to surface but both women are having trouble putting it out there. Then when Billie sends Alana on a date but she didn't feel anything for him and they both had a great laugh. These two couldn't get what they wanted together at first. Then after life hits you that's when you know what you want.

Riveting story about love

This story deals with a relationship between two women. Not my normal reading, but I found the relationship to be interesting and I wanted them to succeed. I would say if you have enjoyed other stories by the author, give this one a chance.

I found this story to be similar to Submissive Nanny, book 1 in the collection, in its themes and conflict. The story was a exploration of love. It is easy to give in when no one is watching, but in the light of day, being judged for your choices is hard. What is acceptable by society is expected, anything else is treated with confusion. Can you give up all you know - the comfort, acceptance, understanding - to follow your heart? Is that a leap that is too big to make?

Wow, this book really caught me off guard. I felt like a fish out of water, but I am glad this love story really opened my eyes. I must say that Billie’s sexual awakening came at the perfect time. Not only had she met Alana, but she brought a new sense of awareness and spark to Alana’s life. I found it amazing that even though Alana is aware of her own truth it’s the strength, confidence and courage she see in Billie that truly allows her to be her true self. I have to say that Rick is truly the supportive friend and protector for both Alana and Billie. Ultimately the turning point and final release was the acceptance of Billie’s parents. After that the rest of the world truly didn’t matter. Above all I loved that Alana made her love known to the world the only way she can, through her work.

Beautiful Love Story!

This is a story about a young woman discovering her sexuality. Billie has tried looking for love but has never had that spark. That connection with any of the men she’s dated. Then she takes a job as a housekeeper for the summer. The instant attraction she feels for her boss, Alana, confuses her. But the pull grows stronger every day. Viktor Redreich has done a wonderful job showing us the beauty in this love story. His characters grow right before your eyes. Each book in this series shows a different configuration of love. I liked this book because the story builds organically. Nothing is forced between these characters. I did receive an advance copy for my honest review.

Blushing Maid by Viktor Redreich is an absolutely wonderful and mesmerizing read. It follows the story of Billie, who is going to work for Alana and Rick King. The story is really well written and I totally fell in love with some of the characters. This book really has it all from love to friendship to dealing with real life relationship issues. Viktor really has a way of bringing his reader into the scene as if experiencing it first hand. While the naughty parts are A+ (as always), the real side to the story's main relationship is just perfect. I really feel like there's a lot of people out there who could relate to this book and that makes it even better in my eyes. If you're looking for a naughty book with a touching story mixed in, then look no further.

Billie is a young girl who starts working for a rich couple. Rick and Alana don't act like a real couple and Billie is more intrigued by Alana then she's ever been with anyone before, even males.
I don't usually read F/F books, but this book reads beautifully. It's not about lesbianism, it's about 2 people trying to find love, and the struggle within to fnd the strengh to accept they may not be fated to society's idea of a couple, and acceptance from themselves and others.
It is at the same time heartbreaking and a joy to follow their path of self-discovery.
The characters are really believable and it is a supereasy read.

Hot and Sexy

This was one hell of a story . I enjoyed everything about this story except I wasn't a fan of the husband at first but then he was ok . The maid and wife hit it off from the start but both nervous around each other then they couldn't stay away . The wife and husband were in an open relationship and he was completely open about it she was suttle she didn't do anything until the maid came along . Husband confronts maid and says he's ok and glad she has someone but the wife is still worried about the outside world not accepting it . Just give this a read it's amazing and extremely sexy . Both woman are amazing .

This is definitely a formula that works for Viktor Redreich, and that is absolutely 💯% not a bad thing.

Short blurb:

This is a quick but enjoyable read. The female characters were well written, I enjoyed reading about their struggles, personal growth and strength to embrace one's self worth while dealing with legitimate concerns of prejudice.

I was ecstatic to read another Redreich and Hanson book and look forward to enjoying future reads.

Blushing Maid is another five star story by Viktor Redreich. Billie is a young woman on the road to self discovery when she accepts a maid position for Alana and Rick King. Billie finds herself having feelings for Alana. As Alana and Billie grow closer they have to find the strength to accept their relationship even if the outside world doesn’t. Will Alana let the fear about what others think get in the way of her happiness with Billie?
This story was amazing as you see the characters grow into their own. They are relatable and your drawn into the characters emotions like they are your own. Can’t wait to read what this author comes up with next. Each book just keeps getting better and better.

This is a quick read that packs a punch as with the others in this series unorthodox relationships is explored and sexuality is explored.

All the characters are likable.

Rick is mostly background and the reader might question his motives at first but he robes himself to be a faithful friend.

Billie is just coming to realize her interest in women and fights her attraction to Alana. Her journey of discovery is relatable.

Alana has long known her sexuality but fears familial and societal judgement and condemnation. Her pretty new maid tests her boundaries nicely.

This is a steamy, fun read.

Unexpectedly Finding Love And Happiness -
It was a good book to read and I finished it in one sitting. It was so explicit at times, that it felt like I was watching the scenes unfold in a movie. The storyline was interesting, but the pain Billie and Alana had to endure to find happiness, was truly heartbreaking. Viktor Redreich and Annika Hanson are relatively new authors to me, but they took a difficult topic and made it into an intriguing must read story. I know I will be reading more of their books in the future.

A very interesting prospective on how someone comes to the realization they are gay. The acceptance of themselves and the love they have developed for another woman. How then she is happy and would love to tell the world, only her new love is still in the closet to everyone except for her husband and now her girlfriend. This book follows their journey on how they grow together, the. Grow apart and in the end…You need to read this book to find out. The love scenes are tender, yet steamy. A well done sexy yet very insightful, tender love story.

If you love girl on girl action this is the book for you! The storyline is not only beautiful but there's that hint of secrecy that makes it all seem forbidden. The story follows Billie and her scandalous relationship with her boss, she finds herself only falling deeply in love with her and oh my the intensity. The self acceptance that the protagonist goes through is admirable too. I loved reading this novel. Gently intense that's what I can say. Everything about it was devine. Viktor never disappoints!

Hmmm

Considering this is a first novel the author has written about lesbians, he absolutely nailed it. A page turner. Its about a married couple, they have an agreement that they can do whatever they want,just don't bring their play mates home. Rick is a business man, who is always away working. His wife Alana is always home. They decide to hire a maid. But she doesn't know who she is,the type of person she is. But does the maid interfere with their marriage? Do her and Alana discover what they are truly meant to be??

Viktor Redreich is such a talented author. Every book I have read from them has been absolute top shelf. This current book deviates a bit from his normal type of book but it is excellent!!! A housewife who is left home quite a bit finds a new side of herself in the arms of another woman. This book is very well written and it is as if you can feel everything that is happening as you turn the pages. Such a good book. Very highly recommended.

Both heroines think they know what they want, but together the discover an entirely new path.

This is a romance of the FF variety. The story is well written and easy to read, probably my favorite of the stories I have read by this author. I really liked our heroines and appreciated their journey. The inclusion of a fair amount of steam certainly did not hurt. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more of this ilk.

Blushing Maid by Viktor Redreich is a tender, touching story about self-discovery. Billie comes to work for a couple as their maid. She gets closer and closer to Alana. This is a gentle, sweet story of a woman’s journey of discovery. Beautifully written!!!

The characters were genuine, flawed, likable, +and realistic. The story was engrossing and touching.

This book is different from what I normally read, but enjoyable all the same.
The story did flow from the start to the finish.
The characters worked well together and I had a good connection with them as well.
I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story.

Yes, there's a slow start, many of this author books are to me, but that's because he's a beast at giving you as much backstory as possible. Therefore, his characters seem like your neighbor, uncle, cousin, etc. So do not beat him up over this slow start to drama, confusion, fear, chemistry, friendship, etc. This start was amazing and i cannot wait to read more in the series.

If you've read one Viktor Redreich story, you've read them all. Not alot different then the others I've read. Young, naive housekeeper, falls for employer, this time the wife. Husband says have at it, we are in an open marriage. Pretty one note, a lot of steam, uninteresting characters. Just OK. Fortunately, you can read this for free with KU. Not worth nearly $4.00.

This is one of those books that stand out especially if want to know more about this type of relationship. Informative, fun to read and overall really good. Its nice to read about how couples relate to each other. Also refreshing to see that love really is blind on many levels.

Normally stories like this do no interest me, it it is not your usual f/f read.
A young girl needed to earn money so she can go to college and start her life.
A wealthy woman who has always done as society expected her to.
A hot and sexy read following their blossoming love.
