Not really sure how to rate this. The writing, at times, was decent as far as some descriptive words used. But it feels like the author is trying too hard but not succeeding. This story is incredibly taboo. I’m all for raunchy/erotic and steamy (or down right smoldering) but this story was borderline pedophilia (it’s claimed Alice had turned 18 by the time anything physical actually transpired but still) and that’s how the author’s writing comes across. I have read plenty erotica/romance that contains some similar themes but this was just horrible and kind of makes me want to turn this author into the police 🤣. I mean he is definitely writing like a man that thinks he knows what women want to read but really it’s just some dirty old guy that probably watched too much sh**y porn and thought he could write a story like it.
I scored this for free from another author’s newsletter and decided to try it. The email I got from this man for signing up for his newsletter made me cringe; and it has to be said that I am definitely not a prude. There’s probably a reason the profile on this guy doesn’t show his face. I immediately unsubscribed from his newsletter and felt like I should go take a cold shower.

Stepdaddy will hit a lot of triggers for those who frown on age play, and especially a mother allowing herself to be treated like a slut by her ex-boyfriend then literally handing her daughter over to him. So anyone with triggers should probably not get this book then bag the author for going into taboo territory.
I expect this taboo territory as I've read a couple of Viktor's books before as well as serialized episodes in newsletters. So I also feel I am permitted here to say I read this book knowing I was going to be taken into territory that I normally wouldn't venture and definitely would NOT put my daughter. But reading this story, I can see things through both Alice and Oliver's eyes. They both have feelings for each other so who can properly judge them for acting on their feelings. If it works out for them in the future - all well and good. If it doesn't and they go their separate ways, no harm done and Alice has given her virginity to a man she adores and more importantly one she trusts.
I'd recommend this book but only to readers who are going to treat the story and the author with the respect they both deserve.

Honestly, this book was so disappointing. I very much enjoy the stepdaddy or even blo@d daddy forbidden trope. But when the mother got involved, it was so very cringe. It really ruined the book for me.

This is a Novella and a quick, taboo, and erotic read. Story is told from 3 POV’s. I feel like Viktor does these Novella’s and at times expands on them based on review.

Alice is a senior in high school with lots of promise, but a mother who is more concerned about living her best life. After she drives away Oliver, Alice begins to change her persona to mimic her mother seeing no reason to stay on the straight and narrow. Alice sees how easy it is to control the men around her.

Oliver is a well to do business man, who comes off lovingly towards Alice, but is a real beast between the sheets. A visit from Alice has him thinking all the dirty thoughts. When Gwen shows up begging for a second chance he shows her the door until she makes him an offer he doesn’t want to refuse- Alice.

This was a twisted read. Each chapter was a POV by the character which was ok but left me wanting more. As per usual, no spoiling. A twisted storyline Gwen - mum, Alice - daughter and ex boyfriend Oliver, an established businessman.
I think the most disturbing part revolved around the mother. Not only was she a loose cannon but a drunk with no sensibilities. Basically, if you want a quick read into taboo here is one for you. Simply be prepared, a little wishy washy but there are also other books out there along the same lines.

What I did like was the authors notes at the end. He brought up some interesting questions regarding the characters.

Okay, so the idea was good. But not executed in a way that I enjoyed.
Gwen was insufferable. I hated her.
This was very taboo, nothing wrong with that. I just didn't care for the last chapter, where the mom was involved.. no thank you😬. I wish she wouldn't have been involved at all.
First time reading smut written by a man, and I am left disappointed 🫤.
