Ray had been my friend for a long time. We were so similar and had never fought, never had any weirdness or drama. For a second, I thought this date had a chance of becoming more. Compared to Sam, Ray was definitely the smarter choice.
"It's ok, no need to hurt anybody. Let's just get this over with, I'm starting to hate this frigging hole," I laughed as I pointed at my pink ball, even further from the hole than his.
"Barb?" Ray said, frowning as he looked at the main entrance. "Is that your boss over there?"
I looked over and couldn't believe it. Samuel was there, walking towards us in a t-shirt and jeans. I didn’t think he owned that outfit. What was he doing ….
I gave Ray my golf club and cut Sam off. Why the hell did he follow me? "What are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to you," he said sharply.
"Did something happen to Lucy?" I asked, panic setting in.
Sam looked over my shoulder, I saw Ray approaching us, looking confused. Ray took my hand. "Is everything okay, Barb?"
"I'm sorry for interrupting, but Barbara needs to come with me." Samuel spoke with no hesitation.
That meant it had to be Lucy. I looked at Ray, ready to apologize, but more ready to run and take care of my favorite little kid.
"It's okay Barb, just go and make sure everything is fine," Ray said, kissing my cheek.
"I'll text you later, okay?" I told him as I rushed away with Sam. "I promise I'll make it up to you."
As I tried to keep up with Sam's pace, I bombarded him with questions. "What's going on? Is Lucy alright? What do you need to talk about?" I kept on asking but Sam wouldn't say a word.
We got in his car and he started driving back to his house. We kept quiet the whole way and I thought it would never end. My mind was melting, and I was close to tears. I fisted my hands and tried to breathe through my growing anxiety.
As soon as we got to his place, I jumped out of his car and rushed inside. I actually ran to Lucy’s room. She was fine – asleep, drooling, and fine. I heard Sam walking in and I opened my mouth, ready with questions. He took my wrist and put his finger to his lips, asking me to stay quiet.
I was furious, I just ditched Ray for nothing. Sam led me out of Lucy’s room and to the black door.
"You better have a good explanation for all this," I growled.

Erotica with a good storyline and well developed characters!
I was really pleasantly surprised by Dark Daddy Dom. I chose to read this erotic story, but to be honest I thought I wouldn't enjoy it because it seems like I'm often disappointed by erotica. So often when I choose to read a story with erotic or detailed sex I feel like I've gotten the same level of stories that most p*rn videos have with the bad acting and little to no storyline. However, this book Dark Daddy Dom did not disappoint me. It has a good story! It also has characters who are developed and in whom I became invested and a storyline that was truly a love story with a HEA!
This was the first time I've read anything by Alliana. Alliana first introduces us to Barbara, our fmc, who is the nanny of little Lucy, a sweet little girl who loves her nanny and who is easy to love. Next we meet Samuel, Lucy's dad and the billionaire who's employing Barbara. Samuel has one stern rule: stay away from the room with the black door. As with any normal person that one rule, of course, only peaks Barbara's interest. When she notices the door can only be opened with Samuel's fingerprint and a six digit code, Barbara starts looking for clues as to what this billionaire could be hiding behind that big, black door. What Barbara finds is really intriguing and leads to some very interesting times with Samuel. It's a rocky road, but eventually all three get a HEA!
This story is erotica. It has very detailed sex scenes including acts of BDSM: spanking, toys, etc. It also has a fun love story with great characters!

So I am a little conflicted by this story. The description mentions daddy dom and age play, but of which are decidedly not present. But there is a nice bit of BDSM and age gap, which I really enjoyed. I just don't like being mislead by the description.
Misinformation aside, the story is well written and easy to read with a short but effective plot. We actually get a nice bit of background for a short story, which is a nice bonus. I generally like the characters although I kind of felt like there were too many for the length of the story. And the steam was very enjoyable. Overall, it was a fun story, just not the one I was expecting to read.

Her stunning beauty and innocence attract her to him. She is young and he is older and settled. He is the father of a little girl, Lucy. In this romantic plot, Alliana creates tension through her feisty lead character, Barbara. Samuel is a Dom and is used to everyone submitting to him. Barbara’s resistance and feisty spirit is what adds to her basic romantic plot. I enjoyed her use of dialog and descriptive language.

This is a good story of an older man and younger woman. She is a bit more inexperienced then him and it shows in the story. It is a cute love story though with quite a bit of heat. It will have you fanning yourself as you read it. It is well written and I will be looking for more by this author.

I liked this a lot, however the title is a little confusing and distracts you from the novel itself as you expect certain things to happen and they do not. Daddy Dom? but only in the sense he has a daughter. A sadist? No. A Dom? maybe but not quite. Dark? No - His just a guy who loves BDSM. So even though i liked this novel the detail in the title and what this novel was about i have issues with.

Not a lot of development in either characters or the plot, but if you are looking for a fast, steamy, age-gap read, this isn't a bad choice.

Hot sexy steamy, not sure about the DD with here there was not much and it was more vanilla. I just don't seem him being a dom with her.
