Our mission is simple: track down my mother and find a way to save my sister from the witches. Should be easy, except in our world, nothing ever goes to plan, especially when you’re traveling with four sexy, Viking Alphas who are ready to start a war to take ownership of the Savage sector… and me!
The more I spend time with them, the more I feel my mind, body, and soul bending to their wills and desires. This complicates things, especially when my past returns with vengeance.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the dangerously wicked Alphas I’ve grown close to have been cursed to remain by my side whether they want to or not, making it much harder to trust them.
Because sometimes betrayal by those closest to you can end up destroying you.
Broken Wolf, book two in the Savage series, is full of sexy alphas, a strong heroine and thrilling adventures that will keep the pages turning late into the night! It’s set in the same world as Shadowlands Sector, with some crossover of characters. It can be read without having read the Shadowlands series first. Grab your copy today!
Mila Young tackles everything with the zeal and bravado of the fairytale heroes she grew up reading about. She slays monsters, real and imaginary, like there's no tomorrow. By day she rocks a keyboard as a marketing extraordinaire. At night she battles with her mighty pen-sword, creating fairytale retellings, and sexy ever after tales.
It took me 3+ months to get around to finishing this book since I disliked most of the characters' personalities so much. I felt like I ended the book with more questions than answers. Additionally, all the relationships still felt like they were built on mostly lust, and I got tired of reading how attractive the men found the naked FMC Narah.
We get more of everyone's backstories filled in, but everything continued to feel rather superficial. Throwing in some sad sob story about their childhood did not excuse all the alpha asshole and/or selfish behavior. I hated the TSTL decisions and dumb jealousy fits that still cropped up. All the arguments were nothing new, and nothing much was resolved or changed by the end.
I'm not sure if I enjoy this series enough to continue, but I might pick up the last book just for closure.
Book two picks up without missing a beat, and I just couldn't stop reading it. Narah just wanted to find her sisters and protect them, that is all. But the more she learns the harder that becomes. The hot wolves helping her have revealed something to her she never expected, but a few other things she learns throw her. And don't even get me started on that ending
I literally inhaled this book in one day because it completely drew me in. With all the plot twists and turns it kept you guessing. Narah (FMC) is stuck between finding her sister whilst her and the guys have been put under a death spell by witches. All of that and having to contend with 4 hot Viking Alphas - Ragnar, Nikos, Stone and Cirus. As well as all the complications that brings up. It was a brilliant read and im loving this series so much. That cliffhanger ending just made my jaw drop. It was that good!! I cant wait for the next book
I loved this book. I could not put it down. Narah and her men are in for even more adventures in this book. It picks up right where the first one left off. Narah has found one sister but lost another. Her mission gets more complicated as time goes on. Can't wait for the next book
This book sets such a pace that you will easily get lost in it and read it in one day! There is very little downtime and so you are kept on your toes the whole book. The twists and turns of this book do not stop, even at the very end, you will be begging for more!
Narah is on a quest to save her sisters, and then go somewhere safe and just live out her days. Sadly, this is not in the cards for her... having found one sister she goes to find the other only to find out that the sister does not want to be saved. There are massive hints about their mother that have been alluded to and we get more of that story in this book as well. Meanwhile, Narah is starting to feel more deeply for the 4 Alpha wolves that have promised to help her. Will she be able to get her magic in check, save what's left of her family, and keep her hormones at bay?
The writing is easy to read in this book. It has a fantastic flow to it that is not overcomplicated and the tale unfolds around you. You can really get a feel for the surroundings as well as the characters due to the attention to detail and fantastic descriptions we get. The author also does a great job of making us feel for the characters and you will find yourself rooting for them along the way. There are so many emotions wrapped up in this book and I can not wait to find out what happens next- serious book hangover over here!! A really good second book and continuation of the series. This book is definitely for those RH lovers of fated mates, Norse Alphas, and magic wielders. This book does get pretty hot and heavy at some points and will leave you wanting more that is for certain!
Wow, OMG. This book was fantastic. It moves along at a pace which makes for an easy read as it is not too fast nor too slow. You will love these characters. They seem so real that you feel as though you have known them forever and you want to be there for them. The story will interest you and keep you reading until you reach the last page and then you are wanting more. This book is a must read and needs to be on your TBR list. You will not be sorry that you did.
So we find ourselves back in the world with sexy, Viking Alphas , rejected mates , action , adventure, passion, magic and battles as we rejoin Narah who is trying to rescue her sister. It’s an intense read that’s also exciting and steamy, fast paced and action packed. You get drawn into the story from the very start and it’s very emotional as the relationships between Narah and her mates develop and we see different sides of them all. There’s danger, violence, suspense and that twist at the ending!! OMG!
Narah and her Viking Alphas have found the witches and that's not the only thing they found, and of course, things can't go to plan for them cause that would be far too easy. Book two starts off exactly where book one finished which helps to suck you straight back into the story. It's a perfect pace from start to finish and a really good read. There's a lot going on, so many obstacles getting in the way of the FMC and her guys.
With one hell of a cliffhanger, I really can't wait to read the next one in the series once it's out. I'm really looking forward to it.
She’s so close to collecting them all! Really appreciate that this books gives a better insight into the backgrounds of all the wolves so we get to know them better. This one reads less like a rough draft and more like a Dnd session where she rolls a charisma 20 every time one of the guys are alone with her.
This set is definitely a binge-read kind of set and we aren’t even that far along! I was up and down in this one for all the best reasons and that ending hit me hard. The author really knows how to make readers feel all the things and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I enjoyed this well enough, following the story and the characters along their way. The only thing that has me rating this book lower is that it felt so repetitive. The same thoughts, same words, same conversations just repeating. There’s only so many ways you can say the exact same thing. Other than that I enjoyed this next part in the gangs story. Love most of the characters and learning more about what’s behind them.
The second book in the Savage series was an interesting read from the introduction to full-blooded witches to shaky alliances, this book had a lot going.
Narah still has some innocence but she isn't naive, Narah knows the darkness of the world but still believes in the lighter parts. Narah is certainly showing some vulnerability in this one but her devotion to her sisters is admirable. No matter what they've come across Narah is willing to face it if it means protecting those she cares about.
Shockingly enough the four alphas have become people Narah cares about. There is not only attraction but a connection as well. The guys are owning up to their feelings and how deeply they run for Narah. The walls for all of them are coming down, they are connecting and learning a lot more about each other. Things also get very steamy between Narah and the guys but things never go smoothly for this group that includes relationships.
Most of the backdrop for this book was a magical forest that was quite deadly. It was interesting seeing Narah use her powers but she obviously needs to learn more about how to use them. This book is filled with horrible people, from evil witches to a nasty omega to a shady alpha that has an alliance with Ragnar. Things aren't looking great and after another long journey, we finally get answers to Narah's past but at a cost because those answers are just as dark as everything in this world. The worst part, the story ended with a lot of things in the air and the appearance of someone I extremely dislike.
Broken Wolf was a good but savagely dark read. Now that I know the characters better I'm enjoying the story more but I'm also irritated a little more. Things aren't going well for the group, it's one problem after another, what else can go wrong? After that cliffhanger and knowing this group, I probably shouldn't have asked. Up next is Fated Wolf.
The second installment raises the stakes even higher, plunging Narah and her Alphas into a deadly race against time.
Kaira’s allegiance appears uncertain as she sides with the witches, who unleash a devastating curse on Narah and the four Viking Alphas. If they fail to deliver Jae to the witches within two weeks, they will all die—Narah destined to be the last to fall. But when they return for Jae, she has vanished, leaving only a massacre in her wake. In the chaos, Nikos seizes his chance to claim Narah as his own.
Their journey grows more perilous as they rescue Jae from Martell’s brutal crew, though victory comes at a cost—Nikos is gravely injured. Seeking refuge, the group finds temporary safety within a friendly pack. However, peace proves fleeting as Ragnar had agreed to marry Lyssa, the Alpha’s daughter gifted with the Sight. The arrangement drives a wedge between him and Narah, deepening the emotional rift. In the turmoil, Stone steps forward to claim Narah, binding himself to her next.
When Lyssa locates Narah’s mother in the distant mountains, the group embarks on yet another treacherous journey. There, they face an onslaught of the undead, with Narah unleashing her magic to save them once again.
But even as she grows stronger, her heart becomes more divided. Ragnar’s jealousy and confusion boil over as he questions whether he can share the woman he loves. At last, they reach Narah’s mother, who promises to lift the witches’ curse. Yet, after the ritual, something is terribly wrong—her mother appears mysteriously younger. Before Narah can uncover the truth, they are ambushed by Martell’s wolves, and she is taken captive once more.
Packed with betrayal, longing, and dark magic, this sequel delivers an unrelenting blend of danger and desire. Every chapter pulls you deeper into Narah’s tangled fate—where love is both her greatest strength and her ultimate weakness.

Broken Wolf by Mila Young is the second book in her Savage series. Book one left me begging for more, but book two didn't quite meet expectations. Where the first book was fast-paced and engaging, book two takes on a much slower pace that at times left me feeling bored and disinterested. Broken Wolf picks up where book one left off. Narah and the Alphas have found the coven of witches, and one of Narah's sisters. But things don't go as planned. Things really go left with Narah and her men get cursed by the head of the coven. Like things couldn't get any worse, right? LOL! They are told to bring back the younger sister and they'll remove the curse or die one by one at the end of two weeks. No pressure right? But Narah thinks that finding her mother will be a good thing, so that is the new goal. This book has some good moments, but the slower pace just really frustrated me. This book is set in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies roam in groups and packs, rogue Alphas and Betas prowl looking for the unwary to harm, but where is all that? Okay, we get that a couple of times in the first half of the book, but so much of the story is set with the characters trudging through the forest. There are some steamy moments, but it seems that all is not going to be the usual within the group of men as Ragnar is showing signs that he has no intentions of sharing Narah with the others which is going to spell lots of trouble. There are some good moments when the story starts to gain some traction, but it just wasn't as good as I was hoping. I'm rating this book 4 out of 5 stars.
This is the second book in the Savage series, a paranormal wolf shifter romance.
Tropes and themes include: ✨Why choose / love quadrangle ✨Rejected mate ✨Shifters and witches ✨Omegaverse ✨Sisterly bonds ✨Post-apocalyptic environment ✨Other woman drama
Rating: 3.5/5 Stars 3/5 Flames Nickname: Little Fox
The Lovely: I’m still really enjoying the story and the world. Shifters and witches exist in a post-apocalyptic world (with zombies) and the FMC is trying to save her sister. I loved how the author explored the FMC’s conflicting emotions as she worked with the pack of alphas.
The Mundane: Setting aside the other woman drama, which I didn’t enjoy, the why choose element of this has become, kind of not why choose? In book one, there were repeated references to the pack all being with an Omega and that was the expectation. But the further we get into book two, it seems like one of the MMCs isn’t too keen on sharing, which makes this not much of a why choose.
Recommendation: Still haven’t seen that TikTok scene yet (see last review from this series). We do get some more emotion connection and time spent with the other MMCs in this book, which kept me reading, and is what will (hopefully) get me to finish the series. That and these are relatively short books. If you like wolf shifter romance with a shared emphasis on the story, I think you would like this book.
Of course this book leaves off on a cliffhanger. I am severely disappointed that there was no real relationship development after a whole sequel. I am annoyed that the men all think about how hot Narah is and just want to f her brains out. They are just traditional alpha (in the worst sense) because they also keep saying they will give Narah a chance and then f it up because of their past. I don't think that Narah has enough chemistry with any of them because all there is is lust. I can see that it could be really good relationships but the way these alphas a written make all the red flags fly and not even the ones we like to ignore in books.
I feel like half the time Narah ends up in an intimate situation with one of these guys she ends up getting coerced or gaslit into something with them. Disappointing that Narah's mother was a literal throwaway character. I also think that Lyssa being obsessed with Ragnar for survival and giving us the sob story of her abuse in her current pack as if that justifies that Ragnar literally couldn't care a single lick about her.
I am continuing this series because of the cliffhanger but if that wasn't there then I would probably ditch the series. There are much better why choose series that don't have alphas who just think about a girl's tits and butt and how they want to literally rut into her.

In order to protect and save the only family left, her sisters, Narah has to track the one family member that she lost very young - her mother. Rather simple sounding mission is, however, full of challenges and hindrances, with everyone having their own agendas - the witches, the other packs, even Martell, Narah's fated mate. And blood will be spilled when such powerful forces clash. Looking into the past of the vikings in Narah's life is a great addition to otherwise tension-packed story. Getting to know them helps understanding them better, and in Narah's case creates a strong bond. Developing feelings between the FMC and her harem also complicate things, though, and I really liked the emotional conflict it brought. Revelations about Narah's true self led to some great plot twists, and the cliffhanger at the end showing who is really the worst enemy among them all is a great motivation to finish the trilogy with the next book.
Narah needs to find her long lost mother and save her sister from a coven of powerful witches. Yet it seems the world is against her. The four Viking Alphas take a firmer hold of her heart, making it harder to focus on her goals. In the end, Narah is going to have to choose, and she doesn't know if her heart can take it.
This thrilling reverse harem paranormal post-apocalyptic book is the second in the Savage series. We're thrust right back into the action and the tension never loses its hold. Again, I'm awed by the world building. There is the threat of zombies, great hordes of them, along with vicious wolf shifters, and merciless witches. Nowhere seems safe. Narah struggles with the need to be with her family and keep them safe, and her desire for the hot Viking wolves who stay by her side. There are intensely steamy moments, and the cliffhanger at the end left me gasping! I need more.
Norah is back with her Viking protectors. Our FMC has been searching for her sister, finds her bespelled by the witches Ragnar came to make a deal with. The witches are evil, placing a death curse on them to return with her other sister. Norah must seek out the mother who abandoned her and her sisters to aide them with the curse, she definitely won't like the cure! Add to it her ex Martell who rejected her is wreaking havoc in his vendetta to get to Norah. Then we have her growing relationships with the guys, Ragnar's growing possessiveness when he supposedly shares everything with them, his supposed fiance and you have a bunch going on and that's just some of it! I believe that he's hiding something, maybe from his men too. With so many plot twists to make any sleuth salivate, this series is definitely a brain tease!
Narah’s feelings and emotions had her at war with herself. Being rejected by her fated mate had hurt deeply but now the Vikings were filling her with yearnings, strong desires and passion. Each one of the Viking Alphas had their own sad story and Narah was bringing them strong emotions and filling long hidden needs. But the danger was still out there, witches were complicating her search for her mother, unexpected things happened, trust was hanging by a thread and seems things were for the worse. A rollercoaster of emotions! An even the monster of the green eyes was lurking at every corner. Action, suspense, strong and dark emotions, danger, violence, magic, witches, a curse, romance, heated passion and an unexpected twist with a cliffhanger that left me eager for the next book.Voluntarily reviewed this interesting and exciting story that I received from BookFunnel.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BROKEN WOLF" This is a thrilling adventurous story full of suspense, mystery, intrigue, danger, betrayal, secrets, Curse, twists that make for on the edge of your seat read. Narah, Cirus, Ragna, Stone & Nikos her sexy as sin Vikings al have different characters they've been Cursed & have up stay by her side make her not sure she can trust them. We get to learn more about Narah's background as well as her men they've all been through alot their wanting up rake Savage Sector as their own while she still hints for her mother & sister the witches have taken. I definitely recommend to get this amazing book it won't disappoint second book in this series so well worth the read still so many questions & answers needed then the cliffhanger making you want the next book ASAP. AWESOME READ!!!!!
Broken Wolf, the second book in the Savage Sector Wolf series, was an epic continuation of Narah’s story and her plight to save her sisters with the assistance of four hot and possessive alphas.
Narah, an omega wolf on the run after being rejected by her mate, has joined forces with a group of alphas on their own mission, and hopes that together they can both get what they are seeking. When a curse is bestowed upon them, they must find a way to break it without it coming true. What happens next is a journey to track down her missing mother, a run in with another pack with ulterior motives and of course…more zombies, deceit and trickery.
Will the group get the answers they’re seeking or will they once again be tricked and taken advantage of? This book ends on a delicious cliffhanger, so do yourself a favor and just grab the next book now too!
Broken Wolf, the second book in the Savage series is a fantastic follow-up to the Lost Wolf. The characters are very well-developed, interesting, and appealing, especially, Narah. Narah is strong, tenacious, and very determined to save her sisters, despite all the obstacles paved in her way. Her four Viking Alphas are just as committed to Narah and helping her in her quest. Sadly, things don't turn out how Narah had envisioned them to. All in all, the storyline is adventurous and engaging, with plenty of suspense, action, steam, surprising revelations, and unexpected twits.
Krys Janae continues to do an excellent job with the narrations. She captured and portrayed the various personalities, emotions, and connections, breathing life into the characters. All-around, Broken Wolf was a terrific Paranormal Reverse Harem listen, one I enjoyed and will recommend.
I really love Narah coming into her own more in this one and the banter and conversation evolution between her and other 3 guys. We’re really getting into the Why Choose part…however, I am very annoyed with Ragnar and the 180 he’s done where now he doesn’t want to share. Even though the author made it a point for all of the guys to state multiple times they always share in the first book. Book 3 better fix this because if Ragnar is gonna continue to pull what he pulled at the end of this book I won’t finish the series. I do hope Narah figures out how to tap into her magic when she or the guys aren’t in a life threatening situation though. Maybe with the revelation from her mother she can but idk how that will play out. The three guys and their acceptance of Narah and vice versus are the only thing keeping me in this series at the end of book 2.

Narah is am interesting mix of vulnerable, innocent and fierce, fiesty. It makes reading her story so compelling! Her 4 Viking alpha wolves are fun to read too, with their own dark beginnings and their ambitions to take over the Savage Sector, their obsessions with Narah and how she responds to each of them! There is a lot of action in this book, it's fast paced and sucks you right in. As this is the second booknin the series, it's already somewhat established- so there is a lot of character development and revelations. The world is also well developed now and I think that makes it easier to sink back into. I felt like this book had the perfect mix of story and steam, if you haven't picked up book one in this series yet, get to it!
Narah, an omega wolf, was rejected by her mate but has found a group of Alphas to protect her and her youngest sister while they search for her other sister. As the story progresses a curse is cast, a task is given, and not fulfilling the terms may be the least of their worries. Broken Wolf continues from where Savage Sector left off with Narah, Ragnar, Stone, Nikos, and Cirus in the witch village trying to get them to release Kaira, Narah’s missing sister. The tasks that befall them keep the action moving as Narah gets more deeply involved with her group of alpha’s.
I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
YES! I have been waiting for this book! It is so worth the wait! Narah and the guys ...Ragnar, Crius, Nikos, and Stone have survived the poisonous woods and Kair, Lyra and the Wood witches want Narah and Jaye to come and live with them...meanwhile Narah and the guys are under a time limit to get back with Jaye and want to find their Mother to see if she is still alive like Lyra the witch says. Hopefully she will have answers on what is going on with Narah's magic. Narah and the guys are growing closer and closer together...will they be able to part when they get what they need from eachother? As usual Mila Young wrote an amazing book with all the feels! And the steam level is just perfect! I just couldn't put it down!! Love it ❤️ 😀
Narrah is finding herself, learning to control her magic more. Her friendship with the guys is growing with everything they've experienced. They have fought and saved each other.
I love when they stop fighting their attraction and let their passion go. It's such an open and honest connection. They love each other with no judgment. Their love is fearless, possessive, passionate, and it's real. A bond that is unbreakable and only grows stronger with their love.
Theirs lots of mystery and surprises at every turn. I don't understand why Martell is even in the picture. He tried to kill her after rejecting her, and now he wants and needs her. Just foolish. You think your actions are forgiven or forgotten. Enemies at every turn and left with another cliffhanger damn.
