Nice companion to de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats. Concepts are not new, but the way de Bono organizes them provides a framework for systematically thinking and acting through situations.

Next up is Six Frames for thinking about information.

I "read" this book in 10 minutes but learned something valuable. In terms of action, you may have certain duties to attend, just as it's best to use certain shoes given the situation. With a different pair of shoes, shift your priorities accordingly. Then, the way you frame the situation will benefit your actions.

i partlicularly loved this read. The siplicity of types of shoes attached to types of action has been a great tool that I have used with communicating with business associates and projects with other musicians when the project seems to be not moving anywhere.
