Jett Olsson isn’t looking for anything serious and she’s not looking for anything at all, so why does it seem so hard to keep it professional?

I love my life—the thrill of being on the ice as part of the Arizona Vengeance, the rush of winning, the adoration of the fans. And if that adoration means I don’t have to spend the night alone, well even better. I’m content being single and always ready to mingle.

But the day Emory Holland walks into a Vengeance team meeting my attention is caught like never before. I can tell right away she’s full of smarts and sass, and the fact that she’s hot as hell sure doesn’t hurt either. She immediately shuts down my advances, so I opt for the road less traveled—straight to the friend zone.

My approach works like a charm, and when she invites me into her bed for a no-strings, friends-with-benefits arrangement, I vow to give her everything I have. She’s been hurt before, and if I’m able to help her heal while giving her a spectacularly satisfying time *pats self on back*, then I’ll be happy.

Or at least that’s the lie I keep telling myself as the time ticks down on the final buzzer of our “relationship”. Now the real question is, can I score the winning goal in a game neither of us realized we were playing?

As you can see from my reading history, I am a HUGE fan of all Sawyer Bennett Hockey Series. I have been reading them from the start and they have always put a big smile on my face.

What works for me is Ms. Bennett's pacing of the series and the guys.

Some of the men may have more complicated backstories or the path to love is riddled with hiccups. Other entries are the type of books where you are able to read them quickly, enjoy the fun, and then look forward to the next story coming due to the insights and tease laced through the one you just read.

I think Jett falls into the quick read, enjoy and look forward to the upcoming ones. There is more than enough to keep readers interested in how Jett is going to manage the "friends w/benefits" status Emory and segue into the relationship he really wants.

This has a woman who is a career person, a terrific mom, and recovering from a horrible relationship past. Jett was not a heavy player but never thought about relationships until Emory. I think it all works in the end.

I’m so happy to be back with the guys from the Arizona Vengeance, it’s been a while and I really missed them.

It's hard to believe but we are on book ten of the Arizona Vengeance Series already, and I hope this series doesn't stop anytime soon. Sawyer Bennett doesn't just give us great guys to lust over but the women she pairs them up with are perfect for them. This is Jett and Emory's story,

Jett is the "player" of the team and one of the last single guys but when he meets Emory at a team meeting you knew his single days were numbered. Emory is a divorced mom raising her young daughter with the help of her sister, Jenna, who I hope will get an HEA of her own soon, new to the team she is determined to keep things professional between her and Jett so she turns him down every time he asks her out, but then she starts to see things in a new light.

Jett is much more than just a Hockey Romance, it has a few different tropes playing out within it's pages, it's a single mom romance, a co-worker romance, a reformed playboy romance, a friends to lovers romance, as well as a sports romance. So if any of these tickle your fancy I would highly recommend this book to you.

Happy Reading!!!

Because of the abrupt ending, I said "what? That's it?" and will take off a half star. But other than that, this book was sheer perfection, with just enough
story, background on the characters, angst, drama, and sizzling heat. Jett was adorable, the perfect book boyfriend. Convinced that he wasn't a relationship guy, that he couldn't see himself married or dating a single mom, well that all flew out the window when he met Emory and her little daughter Felicity. Jett was sweet, thoughtful, romantic, and just a good man. I loved seeing him realize that he was capable of a relationship and eventually love.
I would've loved an epilogue, because I feel the drama with Emory and her ex isn't over yet. And what's the next step in Jett and Emory's relationship after the 'I love you's'? I want to know! Hopefully the answer will be in the next book in the series (Riggs).....

EMORY + JETT

Jett has been trying to get Emory to go out with him ever since she started working for the team.
But she's not interested. She's busy with her job, her daughter, her sister. And her last relationship was horrible - so she's not looking.
But she won't be able to resist Jett for long.
But only friends-with-benefits, right?
He's a young hockey player - he's not ready to settle down - especially not with a single mom!

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN...

Another adorable and sexy little story in this great hockey series.
I really enjoyed reading it.
It was really cute and fun and sexy. But also - and now I'm just quoting my review for the previous Vengeance book: it was a bit meh. It's just the same stuff book after book. I like reading them, but it's never anything new. It's like we've read the exact same book 100 times before - and at least 25 of those 100 were hockey books by Sawyer Bennett. I think there should be a law against book series going higher than book 3 or 5. You just can't invent anything new in such a world.
But ...also... we love those worlds and we enjoy reading these books and seeing all the other players and wives again.

Don't worry, it was a cute romance - I liked reading it! You will like it. But I think I need to read something different now. Like a psycho-thriller-rock-star-m-m-f-ménage with a happy end. Is there such a thing? Let me know!🤣

Also ... I really need Riggs and Baden's books asap!

Can we also please get a Sawyer Bennett Hockey Netflix series??

JETT was another adorable little love story in this great hockey series! ☺ Run to your nearest amazon for your own JETT - this one is MINE!

With Jett, Sawyer Bennett provides a fun friends with benefits, super sexy romance.

Plot: NHL player Jett has a reputation for being a player, but ever since he laid eyes on his team’s new social media manager he’s been trying and failing to get her to go out with him. Until they go on a business dinner and decide they’re better off as friends. She’s a single mom and he doesn’t want any complications. Yet their sizzling chemistry is too hard for them to ignore. Their friendship evolves to friends with benefits and them more.

Hero: Jett Olsson is impossible not to fall for. He’s kind, caring, funny and super chill. He let his relationship with Emory develop at in an organic way. I loved how he got along with Emory’s daughter Felicity and her sister who I hope gets her own book.

Heroine: Emory Holland was a great mother and sister with a bit of a complicated past. She was still great for Jett and they were easy to root for.

Sexiness: Jett and Emory were sizzling hot together, but what I liked most was how their relationship developed in such a natural way. I read their story in one sitting because I barely noticed how easily it flowed from start to finish.

World Building: This is absolutely a standalone book, newcomers will not feel lost or overwhelmed one bit, BUT I must say I LOVED going back to the Arizona Vengeance world and get an update on the hot guys and the woman who make them awesome from past books. I can’t WAIT for the next one.

Jett is book #10 of the Arizona Vengeance series by Sawyer Bennett. Jett is a feel-good hockey romance. It’s told from both points of view with a happy ending.

I always enjoy checking in on this close-knit group of hockey players, but I knew going in that this trope wasn't a good fit for me, personally. And it wasn't. The whole sex "without feelings" arrangement/bringing out condoms before they've kissed just isn't a favorite of mine, so I was as emotionally detached from the relationship as the couple was at the start. Things were just starting to turn around when ex drama overtook the story, so I can't say that I loved the romance in this. However, there are some cute family moments and some important team updates that fans of the series will appreciate. I also liked the sweetness of this hero, and I'm still very excited for Baden's story - and definitely curious about Riggs.

The story follows Jett, a pro hockey player who has been trying to get the team's new social media maven to go out with him. Though Jett doesn't do commitments, he'd love to spend some time between the sheets with Emory, and there's something about her that attracts Jett on another level. The problem? It turns out that Emory is a single mom, and that comes with more complications than Jett would like. But if they can keep things casual, then maybe their connection can stay light and easy. It doesn't take long before Jett is changing his tune, and Emory's daughter wins him over quicker than anyone could've expected.

This will stand alone if you're new to the series, though the characters make appearances in most of the books. For example, we've been teased about Baden's story for several books, and his still hasn't happened. Regardless, this is a complete romance, and it stays relatively light and steamy throughout. There's the ex drama and some tension about keeping feelings out of the equation, but everything really comes together pretty quickly. I personally didn't find the relationship all that compelling, but there's not a whole lot that I disliked either. I didn't love any part of the ex drama, and I don't think it showcased Emory's good side either - but we do get some swoony scenes with Jett out of the situation. I don't think this will win over new fans, but anyone who has been following the series is sure to enjoy this installment. I received an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review of this single parent romance.

*I received a free copy of Jett. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review which is honest and unbiased.*

As always, Sawyer Bennett's hockey stars and the person they fall in love with grabbed me from the first word! Jett is fine, and I loved how persistent he was with Emory when she appeared to not be interested. He wasn't creepy in any way, he just tried to show her that he could be good for her, and that they could be good together.

Jett was the tenth book in Sawyer Bennett’s Arizona Vengeance series. And although part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone with full understanding and enjoyment.

This review will be short and sweet. I loved Jett. And I loved Emory. I also loved the secondary characters of Jenna and Felicity. No spoilers so no elaboration, but if you’re a Vengeance fan, then you’ll love this one too. And if you’re new to the Vengeance, then it will be a great one to start with and you’ll want to then back up and read them all. And Riggs is up next and I totally can’t wait!

Every book in the Arizona Vengeance series has had a different feel to it, but Jett was one of my favorites. Low on angsty relationship drama, high on a sweet, kind and utterly amazing hockey player hottie, there really was nothing about this book I didn’t enjoy.

Jett is known as a player, on the ice and off. Emory is a single mom working as an executive for the team. Neither needs the complication of a relationship in their lives. But what begins as Emory agreeing to a work dinner to get the ever-insistent Jett off of her back turns into a stunning realization for both of them: they simply enjoy one another’s company.

Watching their relationship grow from friends, to friends with benefits, to something real and meaningful was really heartwarming. We do get some glimpses of the other players and a few mentions of games, but hockey and the rest of the team are actually incidental to the romance in this story. What happened on the ice and in the locker room was really just the time spent away from the heart of the story, which was all Emory and Jett. And that was fine with me because I really adored these two. Emory was strong for her daughter and her family, putting them first, but realistic enough to know that she deserved happiness as well. And Jett was just perfection. He said all the right things, was intuitive and sweet, wooing not only Emory but her sister and daughter as well, and has ruined me for any of the other players on this team.

This story wasn’t entirely without drama, but it was necessary for both Jett and Emory to realize what they had in one another. They were two people who were afraid of commitment and weren’t looking for anything complicated, but found that loving one another was the easiest task of them all.

Jett Olsson loves being part of the Arizona Vengeance team, on and off the ice. He’s content with the stimulation in all aspects. So why has he been so put out since Emory Holland, the teams new Social Media Queen, crossed his path?

Emory has found herself the perfect job to support herself and her child, following her relationship breakdown. She certainly doesn’t need to be derailed by the perfect player, Jett.

What starts as a persistent business meeting, on Jett’s part, morphs gradually into more, as Emory loosens up to the idea of something casual. Jett finds himself angling for more though, which surprises himself.

This is the 10th book in this series, and definitely one of the lighter ones, but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. As we rejoin the Vengeance team, knowing a little more each time, it’s like returning into a familiar family environment. Sawyer enamours the reader once again with her characters, and ensures there’s always a treat to be had within the storyline.

Complimentary copy gratefully received from the author, for which I’m happy to give an unbiased review of.

Ungh! You guys, if you're not reading the Arizona Vengeance series, I don't even know what to tell you. Each one of these books is simply delicious and Jett was no exception.

Jett and Emory were such a super satisfying couple. As always, I really appreciated how there was no unnecessary drama. I loved how the characters behaved like grown-ups and formed such natural, relatable relationships to each other. I loved how respectful Jett was of Emory's' boundaries and feelings, even as he protected her and took care of her. Jett was such a sweet surprise. He completely stole my heart and I adored the relationship he formed with Emory and her family.

I am always so enamored of the depth that Sawyer Bennett infuses into these rather short, simple romance stories. In this one, there were a couple of side characters whose stories begged to be written. This was an interesting story, even outside of the romance. As always, I loved the interaction between teammates (the bromance is always one of the best parts of the sports romance trope) and the banter was on point.

This was another hit for me! I devoured this book in record time, my heart attached to these wonderful characters and my mind wholly engaged with the story. It's a pretty short, fairly simple romance, but it satisfied on every level! ~ Shelly, 4 Stars

When casual just won’t do…

I stopped thinking of this spin-off series (of Cold Fury) as a spin-off series long ago as it quickly became a powerhouse on its own. This author knows how to spin a great yarn with memorable characters and plots and hockey romance is my jam so… a perfect match! Love and hockey? Oh yeah….

Jett and Emory were so much fun! Jett was a player, on and off the ice, yet he was all about honesty and who couldn’t like/admire that? His warmth and compassion, his insight, that beautiful face… He was the whole package for sure. Emory was a little bit British and a whole lotta sass as she tried to resist Jett’s charm (impossible of course). She wasn’t looking for anything in the romance department yet there were sparks neither wanted (or could) ignore. Whether talking up a storm, learning about each other (in and out of the sack), pretending there was nothing ‘more’ became a full-time job. Turns out they were catnip for each other and nothing couldn’t be overcome…

Being thrown back into the Vengeance locker room (aka family) is always a treat and this outing proved it once again with the perfect balance of love, drama and life. Falling in love should always be like this! ~Diane, 4.5 stars

ARC kindly received for an honest review.

I enjoyed this one, and I really like this series, but I think I am getting to the point where I feel that the series is running its course. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this book and I liked the characters and wanted Emory to get the HEA she deserved after what she's been through. But I also wasn't as hooked as I have been before with this series. Jett was a fun character was well, and quite a sweet guy.

I liked the secondary characters in this, and I look forward to getting Baden's story.

Don't really know what else to say apart from the fact I enjoyed this as usual with Sawyer Bennett books.

ARC received from author for an honest review

I say it all the time, that Sawyer Bennett could write the chinese takeaway menu and I would read it.

However, to me, I think we should be getting to the end of the Arizona Vengeance series.

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy Jett and Emory's story, I liked that Jett was upfront about things to do with here and her family, and I was cheering for him to get the HEA he didn't know he wanted or needed.

But really, is there much more that can happen with this team and its players?

Ugh, it makes it sound like I didn't like the story at all, but that is not the truth at all. I really did like reading it, but it is all getting a bit same ol, same ol.

And I can't lie, I feel that at this stage I am just holding out for Baden's story.

Because that one is going to be Ah-freaking-mazing.

Bring on Riggs and Baden, STAT

There’s not one of these hockey romances that I don’t like. Each book has a new couple that have different issues they navigate before they reach their own HEA. Even though Jett and Emory’s story is not as intense or angsty as some of his team mates romances, it’s definitely worth the read. What I enjoyed the most was watching Jett’s perspective on what he thought he wanted to where he ended up. Emory was also special in how she coped with her past and handled her career and home life. Together they were a perfect team tackling anything or anyone that tried to disrupt their inner circle. I love having a visual of who I’m reading about, and this cover is amazing, Jett’s one fine man! Another element that has me coming back to this series is we get updates from the previous characters and little hints who might be next. Emory has a sister, Jenna whom I’m hoping finds her own happy ending and if it’s with one of the Vengeance players, even better.

I think I am always going to like a Sawyer Bennett hockey love story! If you want a low angst, cute and sexy book, this is the book for you.

We know Jett from the other books & we got a small glimpse of Emory also from the last book.

Jett is your regular “pro-athlete lady’s man” and he is unapologetic about it but not over the top manwhore vibes. He is immediately smitten with Emory but she doesn’t want to give him the time of day.

Emory is a very busy single mom and she doesn’t need any further complications in her life. Her sister Jenna lives with her so that she has some additional help with her daughter.

This was a good storyline. I was interested the entire time. I will say that I hope that Jenna is in another book because I really loved her character along with both Jett & Emory!

I think both Riggs and Baden’s stories are going to be good ones! Really excited to read about both of them.

Sawyer Bennett always delivers a hockey romance that I just devour. What started out as a no string attached turned into so much more than either would have expected. There was definitely a lot of chemistry between Jett and Emory. You could feel it on the page. This story wasn't as emotional as some of the others in the story but I still very much enjoyed it.

Sawyer Bennett writes the BEST hockey romance. We are now on book #10 in The Arizona Vengeance series and each book gets better and better.

Jett is a right winger for the Arizona Vengeance. He is focused and driven by all things hockey. He is charming and confident and the moment he meets Emory, the new VP of Digital Marketing for the team he is intrigued by her and is relentless in his pursuit of her and getting her to agree to a date with him.

Emory is a hard working, single mom. She is protective of her daughter and sister and she is guarded when it comes to matters of the heart due to a tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband.

I really enjoyed the progression of Jett and Emory’s relationship. Once Jett learns of all Emory has going on at home, they agree to a casual relationship with no commitment. Their chemistry is undeniable and the more time they spend time together the more their hearts become invested.

I cannot wait to find out which hockey players book is next. I’m eager for Baden and Riggs’ stories. I’m so invested in this series, the team, the players and their significant others. My only complaint was the ending felt abrupt and left me wanting more. Having said that I am sure we will see them again in future books in the series.

What a sweet hockey romance. Jett Olsson, second line right winger for the Arizona Vengeance does his best to secure a date with the new VP of Digital Marketing, Emory Holland. Emory though isn’t looking for what he’s offering, Their attraction is impossible to ignore though, and Jett is most definitely persistent. Maybe no strings can work between them. I love the Arizona Vengeance family, especially their acceptance of inter group relations, it’s refreshing, and oh so modern. Dominik is the best boss. Fantastic writing, a wonderful story and characters. I love it when a cute kid takes the limelight off the main characters, and Felicity did just that, she’s adorable, This is one of my favourite Vengeance stories. Well worth the wait, and definitely worthy of five stars. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

If you haven't started the Arizona Vengeance series yet, you are sorely missing out on some swoon-worthy book boyfriends!

Jett Olsson is one of the few "last man standing" when it comes to the single life and he loves every minute of it until Emory Holland. Emory is the new social media person for the Vengeance family and the one person who has caught Jett's attention. Emory's not looking for the complications of a relationship after her ex and Jett definitely isn't looking for a relationship with a single mom.....famous last words. These two were easy, fun and explosive when together that they fell into the easiness of a relationship without realizing what happened.

I loved this story and how could you not with the cutest 7 year old, a swoon-worthy hero and a beautiful relationship that melts your heart!

At the start to this one Jett came off a bit too cocky for me, I wasn't sure that I wanted to root for him and Emory. But much like Emory, Jett quickly won me over. I think a big part was how he pivoted when he found out Emory had a daughter, he didn't pursue her as much, was ok being friends, which quickly led to other things. I also really loved the advice that Jett gave when Emory's past came back at her. He didn't say things that would further is relationship with Emory, but was more better for the situation and rolled with the punches when bad things happened. I really liked how this one ended, liked that Jett didn't let Emory's moment of panic stop them from a good thing.

I thought this was ok, despite this trope not being my personal favs even though I do still read them. I don't think I really cared too much about Emory's ex. I felt like he was shown way too late in the story and came out of nowhere. Jett took a bit to warm up to. I'm still continuing this series.

Narrators Emma Wilder, Tor Thom did an amazing job with the characters though.

Oh wow! The books in this series are filled with some hockey goodness and Jett is another in a long line of sexy hockey players. Sawyer Bennett just keeps coming up with stories that warm your heart and keep you smiling. This one is no exception. Great story, great characters, and an afternoon of pure joy is what you'll get with this book. Definitely a must read. I recommend it to everyone.

If you’re not swooning over a Sawyer Bennett hockey player, you’re not reading things right! Jett is yeah, swoony and then some. I mean, wow. Emory is tough yet vulnerable, and a wonderful mother. Together, they set the pages on fire and make you root for them right from the start!
