Everything about Sophia makes the alpha in me snap at the chain I keep it on.

And that’s trouble I don’t want or need.
Because the single mom with M.D. behind her name...
Is the last person I need to be fixated on.

I need to channel that kind of energy into fighting wildfires.
Not fighting my need to own her.

I’m jacked enough as is.
The medical discharge that ended my career as a Navy Trauma Surgeon…
And all the B.S. of trying to reinvent myself in this small town is more than enough headache.

But when I realize she’s the one trapped inside the burning, collapsed building…
All bets are off.
Even if I have to tear the world apart with my bare hands I will save her.
And she will be mine.

Regardless of the fact that I’m her boss. Or that she's hiding a giant secret...

Saving Sophia will check all of your boxes for steam and action from the moment you meet the handsome but damaged mountain man doctor fireman, Liam Strong. This standalone book kicks off the new Eden Mountain Firefighters collection. No cheating, no cliffhanger. And the best HEA you'll read all year!

Dangerous heat. Unforgettable heroes. Sizzling happy-ever-afters.

Thanks so much for checking out my bio. I'm Jenna Gunn, author of over 25 romance novels including multiple best selling titles.

My passion is writing thrilling action, high heat, suspense and rescuer romance books with fun and unexpected plot twists.

I love deep characters who overcome pain, mistrust, and damaged pasts to find their way alongside the mate of their dreams.

The men and women in my books have flaws, heart, fears and passion, just like we do—layers that make them slip into your heart.

All of my books are first person and include two Point of View. I mainly write MF contemporary romance, but have written MFM menage. It was super fun to write with three POVs.

Many books are in a series so you get to know the families, (5 brothers in the Archer Brothers Series, 5 brothers in The Eden Mountain Firefighters, and Teammates in the Agile Security and Rescue Series). All of the books are standalone and can be enjoyed that way too.

I've accomplished my dream as an author when my reader can drop into a book and forget the rest of the world.

In addition to dreaming up delicious heroes, I'm an avid to traveler, surfer, snow skier, and water lover. I'm known to spend long periods on the road with the husband and our pup in our camper van where I always pick up inspiration for my next book. This is the first book in the Eden Mountain Firefighters Collection but is read as a standalone. Liam is not only gorgeous, sexy but grumpy. He was a military surgeon who retired early due to an injury. Trying . get his life back on track he divides his time between his emergency medical clinic and being a volunteer firefighter. In many ways he's a broken man. He's a stickler for order. Sophie is a nurse with her two year old nephew that she adopted when her sister was killed. She has nightmares from being in a fire at a young age. Liam is still emotionally broken from his past accident but gets a lot of support from his family. This book is very emotional at times. I enjoyed the characters and watching their lives start to merge. In many ways they were healing to each other. The characters were well developed and the story line was amazing. A great book that you will enjoy. I read a free book via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

The first book in the series brings a hot Dr./firefighter in Liam and single mom/Dr. Sophia. The author does a fantastic job building both her characters and story line with her detailed and descriptive writing. She gives them a strong chemistry and weaves an interesting story with a few twists along the way. I enjoyed and would recommend this book and am looking forward to his brother's stories.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

Veterans and Doctors and Firefighters…OH MY!
Cliché as it may be, seriously hot men who happen to be firefighters, military servicemen, or doctors tend to star in the swoony dreams of women everywhere. Now, imagine my hopelessly romantic heart’s surprise when I discover that the hero in “Saving Sophia” by Jenn Gunn is ALL THREE! Dr. Liam Strong, as gorgeous and ripped as any calendar model, is a former Navy trauma surgeon, a current volunteer firefighter, and the new owner of a much-needed urgent care clinic in the small town of Eden, Utah. He is growly, protective, and absolutely lives up to his last name. Although he’s dealing with a lot in his life, he is stunned by a visceral reaction to his new employee, Dr. Sophia Parker. Sophia is intelligent, independent, and beautiful – a strong and loving woman who adopted her orphaned nephew while still in medical school. Liam and Sophia have explosive, immediate chemistry, and the path to their HEA is not without heartache. To be honest, there’s a specific aspect of the story that I predicted somewhat early on, but Ms. Gunn’s writing is so infused with emotion that the culminating scene surrounding the issue brought tears to my eyes and made my heart stutter. So, so well-done in my opinion. The rest of the Strong Family – including Liam’s four equally hot brothers – is wonderful, making me wish I were part of their close-knit clan, and other Eden residents like Callie make this whole setting and story relatable and genuine. Oh, and little Eli…sigh…what a sweet baby boy. This is only the second book I’ve read by this author, and I haven’t found any indication that this is the start of a series, but I am wishing, hoping, and praying that Ms. Gunn indulges us with HEAs for Caleb and everyone else that stole my heart in this story. Ms. Gunn, pretty please! We need more Strong stories…maybe also some of the guys at the firehouse…and if it’s not too much trouble, Callie too? I’ll gladly buy every one of them!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Sophia is a single mom to her nephew after her sister was killed, she is a doc. who stands up for herself, tell it to you like it is and due to being burned when she was really young shaped her idea of being a doc. to help others. Liam sexy, strong, Navy trauma surgeon, just discharged due to a medical issue but has ghost that he fights daily upon leaving the military he decides to head home to open an urgent care clinic and volunteers for the wilderness fire team with his brothers. Liam is orderly like the military taught him, he is all about logic and order and Sophia is the total opposite of course they butt heads over some of the simple things like order, but the chemistry pull is so intense, and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored. But the ghost he fights within have him thinking his darkness that he lives with will put her light out he can’t have that, but fate has other plans for the two of them by allowing Sophia to be put in a position that requires Liam to save her and realizing just how much he cares for her. Will he save her, can he let go of the past and will they find happiness?

Dr Broody and Dr Sunshine

Liam and Sophia. The beginning of this story was great! I loved the no nonsense, laid back, fun female and the tough, broody, rugged male. They made an exceptional pair and the tension between the two could be cut with a knife.

This was definitely one of those eat your heart out, happy love stories that we all love to read. Then the plot twist with Eli’s father. That was definitely a curveball that I found awkward. Liam was a volunteer firefighter and I believe the author made it sound like he was bigger with it then what the book actually portrayed.

The fact that both Liam and Sophia fell in love but ended up being related with more than they realized was really surprising to me. It kind of ended up ruining the entire dynamic for me. I would have liked reading about them getting to know each other better or even placing Jasmine as more of a villain character to make me feel better. Lol

The Strong brothers were all swoon worthy and I can’t wait to read more about them. The steam was right on the edge the entire time between the characters. The epilogue we get at the ending is an unknown time and it left me with questions of how and when...

*Overall 3.5/5
*Heat 3/5
*First person POV both Sophia and Liam
*MF Romance
*Fast burn
*HEA? Yes

She’s his saviour and gave him sunshine
This book is about Liam and Sophia. Liam has been discharged from the navy after 18 years of service, from his job as a trauma surgeon. He’s returned home to Eden, and isn’t looking forward to the transition back to civilian life, but also loving being home with his family and their surroundings. His brothers are helping him as he prepares to open up his own clinic. The female doctor he’s taken on surprises him as the building is still underway. The foot she places in her mouth doesn’t make for a great start to their working relationship, but there’s an undeniable mutual attraction there, though neither is intending to act upon it. Well… that doesn’t last too long!
It’s emotional, passionate and full of ups and downs for both of the lead characters. The support systems they have are amazing, but nothing beats quite like the heart in their chests. There are many surprises, disappointments, lots of angst, confusion, comradery and love. It was both heart-breaking and heart-warming. I laughed, I cried, I swore, I swooned, and I smirked (a lot!). I was just disappointed when the story ended, because of the way all of the characters pulled me into their story. I give this book four and three quarter life-saving stars.

Goes down in my top 10 of worst books EVER. Negative 3 million stars. What a nightmare.

Engaging writing style and phrasing…

Liam Strong. The name certainly fits. Or maybe it should just be— I Am Strong. The L seems like unnecessary fluff, which totally doesn’t suit this man.

Instead of wearing his heart on his sleeve, he wears his disapproval in his eyes.

Her innocent, college girl looks are going to be a distraction. And on top of that, her sassy mouth and poke-the-fucking-bear humor are going to give me a case of the man-brains. Which is way worse than any migraine I’ve ever had.

But, it’s paired with unsure strokes to convey emotion at every angle…

Eyes bore
Flare in his dark irises
Eyes flare
Embarrassment flares hot
He glares at the door
His eyes blaze

^^* All the eye stuff in a couple of pages and surrounded by scowls and such. It’s overkill. The reader can get his mood without his eyes and jaw being involved every other sentence. Emo overkill.

At first, the dialogue had me smiling or snorting. Clever, snarky, dry, and teasing without trying too hard.

Love the MMC’s family dynamics.

That’s about all the good I can say.

After 50%, I’m growing bored. This is straight-up romance. There’s nothing really going on other than time for the MCs to bond and get over or succumb to their relationship fears. I need more. More movement and action in the plot.

There’s just scene after scene of nothingness, such as the beer run at 77%… what purpose does it serve other than killing reading time? Phone calls, eating, medical shit, and more mundane.

Sadly, I wished it would have stayed mundane. That beat the hell outta of turning the characters into a monster and weakling.

80% in, and the romance falls into a dumpster. I’m talking nosedives into magotville of decayed romance.

This late in the book, and the MCs FIRST REACTION to surprising news is to accuse the FMC of lying, manipulating him, and hiding a huge secret. If he doesn’t know by 80% what kind of woman she is, then this is hopeless. He’s “angry” with her with no evidence. He refuses to listen and cuts her to the core, but what’s worse is that he is willing to support HIS PROBLEM but not be an active participant. <<< Yea, and you want me to believe the love story after all that? Uhm, no.

Spoiler… ^ So the problem above is that he slept with FMC’s sister, who is now dead. That ONS produced a child, who the FMC is now raising. Forget that she just happens to come work for him in a new town and get sexual with him. Coincidence and probability of hitting the lottery, but whatever. MMC accuses her of knowing he is the dad and believes she was manipulating and lying about it all. He breaks her heart… saying he will support the child but never be a father to the kid and wants nothing to do with her. <<< All this is at 82%, leaving no room to even be redeemed. He is verbally abusive. I’m pissed. Screw him, and I hope the p’ass MOFO’s headaches cause his brain to explode.

FMC is pathetic. She wants to apologize to him when she’s done nothing but be patient, honest, and supportive and he’s cut her down at every turn.

From hate to marry me in the turn of a page for some f’d up HEA. He just goes off for a walk and decides he isn’t mad and suddenly wants forever. Screw it, they deserve each other and this book deserves to be strung up by the pages and pissed on.

I’ve never DNF’d a book at 90%, but I refuse to read this BS HEA between a cowardly idiot and pathetic pushover.

Talk about hot and steamy...this book delivers. One small town medical clinic, two doctors with sizzling chemistry, and all too soon they can’t keep their hands off each other! The snark and attitude they give each other is highly entertaining. Their story is fast-paced and captivating.

Liam is an ex Navy trauma surgeon who has been medically discharged and not at all happy about it. His decision to open a medical clinic in his small hometown makes sense and so does hiring another doctor to help out and who will run the clinic when he is called out for his other job as firefighter. He just never expected the new hire, Sophia, to be so beautiful, to shake is control over his libido or to claim his heart. It doesn’t matter that she is mom and he is not ready for any relationship. It takes mere days before he steals a kiss, then he comes back for more until he can’t stop himself from claiming all of her. Sophia can’t believe she is so attracted to her grumpy, surly and controlling boss. Yes, he is sexy and so hot that the temperature raises at 25 degrees every time he comes near her, but his personality and demeanor should be a big turnoff, right? Not so at all. She discovers that Liam is dealing with some hidden demons, and they do settle into a good work rhythm. The stolen kiss is devastating, and it isn’t long before they are indulging in passionate encounters outside of the office. But they also have to contend with his demons, jealousy and possessiveness, as well the fact that she has other commitments. They also have another connection that neither is aware of, but it could serve to put a giant wedge between them. How will it all unfold?

Beautifully written, Ms. Gunn has once again hit it out of the park! This is a great story to start off this new series.

Liam Strong is forced to return home and start his life over after a medical discharge from the Navy. He is not a happy camper, is broody and unsure of what he wants, or rather he thinks he deserves, in life. He decides to use his background as a trauma surgeon to open an urgent care clinic in his hometown.

Sophia Parker is a young doctor who is wanting a fresh start and a quieter/slower pace at work so she can spend more time with her young son. She is strong, independent, smart, beautiful, and feisty. Sophia accepts a position at the clinic after interviewing with a recruiting agency.

From the moment they meet, there is chemistry that is so hot it’s off the charts. The situations they get into will make you laugh out loud and so will their banter. Emotions run high as they navigate work and life. Liam’s brothers are a riot, teasing him and trying to egg him on. They are also there when Liam needs them the most and the entire Strong family steps in to support Sophia immediately.

Liam was discharged early from the Navy because he was no longer physically fit to be a trauma surgeon so he returned to his hometown to open an urgent care center and work with his brothers and dad as a volunteer wilderness firefighter. He gets off to a shaky start with Sophia, the doctor he hired to help at his clinic. Sophia has adopted her sister’s young son when she was killed and wants to succeed at the clinic. Sophia finds Liam handsome but grumpy and he doesn’t always appreciate her sense of humor or sassiness but they are both attracted to each other but know they shouldn’t act on their attraction because he is her boss and they have to work together. Will secrets from his past tear their new relationship apart and will he be able to save Sophia when the earthquake and fire hit the clinic?

I enjoyed this story with the grumpy doctor/ firefighter and sassy new doctor that was hired for his clinic. They both had issues to deal with and the author did a great job giving us details. The epilogue was a great ending for their story.

Jenna Gunn's book Saving Sophia is a good addition to the collection of books she has written. Liam is recently medically retired from the Navy as a trauma surgeon. He is not happy about the fact that he can no longer operate as one. Liam is opening an urgent care clinic is his home town and has hired Sophia as the other doctor. Sophia comes with a whirlwind of a two year old boy named Eli who she adopted when her sister died and no one else from the family could raise him. Can Liam and Sophia admit that they are more then friends with benefits? Can they get past the emotional baggage of Liam's one night stand with Sophia's sister? Will they ever admit that they love each other? I really enjoyed reading this book and seemed to fly through the book to see what was going to happen next. I hated to see it end.

Sophie has moved to town to start working at the clinic and she's raising her young son Eli on her own. Liam is her boss at the clinic and is somewhat unfriendly when they meet because he overhears her asking about him. Sparks fly between them but Liam tries to keep her at arms length. He doesn't like that she has a kid and makes this known. However its only until he realizes that she's not taken that he relaxes somewhat. Not long they are giving into temptation. Sophie explains how she became a single mom and starts wondering if she shouldn't look into finding Eli's father. When something from Liam's past comes to light for Sophie will it end things between them? Will Liam know that he can trust Sophie?

This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Saving Liam. That’s what this book would be called if I was the author. But as I am not able to write such a wonderful piece it’s futile to reminisce about that.
I was enthralled in the story from the beginning and couldn’t shake it of until I finished reading. Happiness, love, romance... not to forget grumpy humpies, reality strikes, fear and heartbreak. And a man who has to learn that there are other things out there which are out of his control. Lovely Sophia might be the best thing ever happened to him. I was happily surprised to see a known face here and happier even to realize that one of my preferred side characters from the Archers will now definitely has his own story!!! Thank you for that Jenna Gunn!!!

This was a good read. Sophie is new to town and is working for Liam. He is a grump at first but the more time they spend together the more they fall for each other. However, we find out some interesting things and it makes things complicated. Thankfully in the end everything works out for them and they get their happy ending.

I really loved reading Saving Sophia: Doctor Fireman's Secret Baby Romance by Jenna Gunn because it was such a fantastic and heart wrenching story about Liam and Sophia. Liam was a surgeon in the military and was discharged. He was constantly moody and broody. He was opening up a clinic and he had hired Sophia would was a single mom and also a doctor. The two of them had sparks when they meet and Liam was trying hard to stay away from Sophia, but he also didn't want anyone else around her either. Sophia was a single mom taking care of her son and she had had a tragedy in her life. There were many twists and turns in this story and I loved it. I really hoped that Sophia and Liam would eventually get together because they were fantastic for each other. He was her sunshine in his dark and cloudy life. I would highly recommend reading this story.

Liam was a former Navy Trauma Surgeon, he was forced out via a medical discharge, and had decided to build his own clinic in his home town of Eden. He needs another doctor at his clinic, to help with the load, and to make it so he can help the Firemen out. So he hires Dr. Sophia Parker, who's smart mouth gets frowns from her boss (Liam) the first time she meets him. Can she get Liam to smile? Will they be more to one another? I loved this dynamic pair, and their story which had some good humour in it. Liam can be grumpy (sometimes frustrating) and a bit demanding, but he also can be charming and protective (I loved him), and Sophia certainly challenges him, and is very sassy (I loved her too). I think Sophie's son Eli, is a real little cutie too.

This story is about Liam Strong a doctor/firefighter who was discharge from the Navy. Liam is helping his brother Carter getting his new clinic opened when Sophia Parker a doctor/single mom who has been hired to work at the new clinic shows up. Putting her foot in the mouth she meets Liam who dead pan shows her around the clinic. They get locked up in a room and Liam who finds Sofia very attractive asks Sophia to climb into the vent to the next room. Just as Sophia is about to enter the vent, Caleb arrives to free them. When Sophia shows up to work in her scrubs looking appealing, will Liam be able to keep it professional? This cute story was a pleasure to read, the characters were likable and interesting, the romance simmering and the story line engaging in another well written story by Jenna Gunn that I volunteer to read and review via Booksprout and the writer.

This is the first book in the Eden Mountain Firefighters series, and the series is off to a tremendous start! Liam was a trauma surgeon in the Navy until he was medically discharged. But not letting that bring him down, he opens up a medical clinic in his small town. Sophia is the new doctor he hires to help run it. She is a single mom, but that makes no difference to Liam. He is not ready for a relationship, but the attraction between these two was simply undeniable and the chemistry was sizzling hot. However, complications do arise, which they will need to overcome. A great story full of depth with endearing characters you can easily fall in love with. Great first book! Can't wait to read the next one!

Ms Jenna has put out another great story. I can see she has left open for the brothers to be the next books at least that is what I am hoping for. Well, with this one you get the mix that so many women love in one man. Doctor, military man, and firefighter. So can you just imagine what this is going to do to the female in the story. She is a doctor also, and he has opened a clinic that he higher her for. These two are total opposites. He is orderly while she is so not. But isn't that what life is about opposites attract? I can say these two have an amazing chemistry along with feelings galore. That will make your feelings gush all over the place. Never expect anything but the unexpected, I say. Will the opposite in them be what makes this have a HEA?

“obsessing over something you can’t change is purely a waste of energy.”

“Ready for the real world?”
“Hell no.”
“Well, it’s not ready for you either.”

This is the first book in “Eden Mountain Firefighters Series”.
In this book, we get to know Liam and Sophias story, but also get a glimpse at the entire Strong family (that will eventually grace the pages of other books).

“An appreciation of the opposite sex can happen instantly because our genes are programmed to find suitable mates.
And, apparently, he has all my genes on high alert. Men like Doctor Strong aren’t made every day, and my biology is suddenly alerting me that he’d be a good mate”

Liam Strong is the oldest of 5 brothers. He was a trauma surgeon in the Navy, but after an accident he was early deployed back home.
Not one to put his arms down, despite feeling lost, Liam opens up a, much needed, Urgent Care Clinic in Eden.
And Sophia is the young doctor the employment agency arranges to work side by side with Liam.

“So, have you met this guy that’s going to be my boss? Is he like a typical A-hole surgeon?”
My brother points his paintbrush at me, “That’s him right there. And yeah, I can confirm he’s an asshole, but he is my brother, so I might be biased.”

Sophia is sweet, caring, colorful and a great professional.
Her life hasn’t been easy, specially after life throws a curve ball at her and she finds herself caring for a child.
Also, fun fact about Sophia, she has a nag for embarrassing herself... and yes, that’s how she first met Liam!

“Sophia’s eyes go wider than human eyes should go, then they narrow just as fast into two angry slits. “Oh, for heaven’s sake, like that wasn’t embarrassing enough!”

Loved the book. Loved the depth the characters have, love the Strong family, specially Noelle and can’t wait to read the other brothers story.

The one thing I didn’t like so much
Apart from this their story is really breathtakingly beautiful...

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Saving Sophia is the first book in the Eden Mountain Firefighters series. Sophia Parker is a single mom; a doctor with a s.xy smart mouth. When she was young, she was burned in a fire and this is what made her want to be a doctor. Eli, aged 2, is her nephew. She adopted him when her sister was killed in crash and is raising hum as her own. Liam Strong is a Navy trauma surgeon until he received medical discharge. An accident changed him and is still affecting him to this day. Now faced with an expected career change, he opens an urgent care clinic in his hometown. He is also volunteering as a wilderness fire team with his brothers.

Liam likes logic and order. The new doctor hired to work at his clinic is anything but. Liam meets his match in the new hire, Sophia. Liam doesn't like it but he can't help but find himself drawn to Sophia. He thinks he will bring a darkness to her light. His wants conflict with his brain. This story had a few twists that were unexpected. Liam drove me a little crazy with his hot and cold for Sophia. No wonder she was confused. Eli is a little bright light in the story. I wish I would have seen a little bit more evolution in his relationship with Liam.

Liam's parents and four brothers are an integral part of the story. They are a wonderful family who I hope will be the basis of this series. The story read quickly and is a standalone with a happy ending. The characters are different enough from each other to be interesting and make me want to get to know them. As for the romance, while Liam doesn't do dates and flowers, he and Sophia belong together. They have great chemistry. Saving Sophia is a great start to a new series by Jenna Gunn.

Who are Carter, Cole, Liam, Caleb, and Larson? How do they know one another/ What do each of them do for a living? What do we learn about each of these men? Where are they located? Who are Callie, Sophia, and Eli? Liam's family dinner on Sunday is a hoot! I love his mom!!!! Mom's got jokes!!!! Boy howdy! What does Liam do that he has stepped into it big time? There is a whole lotta sexual chemistry going on in this story! Yep, all the Strong men are hot hunks, that's all I have to say on that one!!! What happens that almost changes the whole course of the story? What is done to fix it? Or what even happens that changes things yet again? I was shocked at what I learned. I hope you enjoy the read! I did!

I absolutely loved this story. Sophia was funny and strong. Liam was growly and passionate. The chemistry between the two was palpable from the moment they met. The author did a great job creating a sense of anticipation between the two. Liam's fire fighting adventures were thrilling. I liked Sophia. She was a strong woman who faced adversity with aplomb and patience. Her competence and level headed thinking were like a breath of calm fresh air cooling Liam’s tempestuous mood swings. The love scenes were different and original. The supporting characters were great and made me want to know more about them.

Highly recommend this five star story. Really loved it.

POIGNANT, UNEXPECTED TWISTS, GREAT CHARACTERS
I am not sure that the title 'Saving Sophie" fits this book. Doc Liam Strong has a lot of issues as does Doctor Sophie. Liam has a quick temper and life has dealt him a hard-to-swallow fate. Unfortunately Sophie turns out to trigger every feeling he has, from lust and desire to fury and failure. Together they run the new Urgent Care facility in town bumping into each other at every turn, literally. Add to the mix Sophie's adopted son (her deceased sister's son), Liam's family that knows how to push his buttons and fate's twisted sense of timing and you have a wonderful book. Don't expect people shooting at each other like some other books but danger lies ahead just the same. I might say the title is Saving Liam. ????

This was such a great story. Liam comes home to set up a small clinic, and his company hires Sophia to be the other doctor in the practice. Sparks fly when they meet and I love what she said to him. Sophia is smart, sassy and can hold her own. Liam is grumpy, brooding and too delectable for his own good. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot and steamy and they can't seem to stay apart. However, the both of them are dealing with personal demons from the past, and a discovery and crisis will test this relationship. I really enjoyed this novel and can't wait to read about the other Strong brothers.

Compelling
Hooked from beginning to finish by this story of two doctors and a baby. Sophia has become a single mom to her nephew after her sister’s untimely death. In order to provide a better life for Eli she takes a position in a clinic in Eden Mountain. Liam opened the clinic after he left his assignment as a Navy Trauma Surgeon and also is a volunteer on the wilderness fire team with his brothers. They both diligently fight their attraction for each other determined to be the ultimate professionals. Their back and forth banter is definitely entertaining while they both fight the ghosts from their pasts.
Anxiously awaiting her next release in this series.

This is the first book in the Eden Mountain Firefighters series. It's Sophia and Liam's story and it's a book I just couldn't put down. Sophia's a doctor who has just been hired, not by Liam, to work in a new Urgent Care Clinic. She's bringing up her two-year-old nephew alone, after her sister was killed in an accident she adopted him.

After an Accident, Liam was given a medical discharge from the Navy where he was a trauma surgeon. He's opened an Urgent Care Clinic in his hometown and just to make sure he keeps busy he also volunteers with his brothers for a wilderness fire team.

Working together at the Clinic sparks fly but Liam is a bit on again off again and it's confusing, to say the least. No more spoilers from me, just download this one and read it, you won't be disappointed.

A Blast From The Past -
When Sophia moved to a new town to start her new job, little did she know it was her destiny to be there. Liam had been practically anti-social since he was discharged from the Navy, which made the tingles he felt every time he was near Sophia, quite annoying. Spending time together helps thaw Liam’s cold demeanour, but chaos ensues when a secret neither one of them knew is revealed. Jenna’s gift for storytelling ensured I didn’t see the twist in the story coming. However, I was overjoyed they were able to overcome the obstacle and get a happily ever after. This is another must read book from Jenna Gunn’s portfolio, that you will not want to miss reading.
