Duel Naruto vs Delta menuju klimaks! Boruto dkk pun menghadapi situasi baru!
Another great volume. The Sasuke storyline at the end was really cool, can’t wait to see where that goes. Really hope we get to see Tsunade next volume. I also like the the bonus content at the end of each chapter that was introduced this volume. It gave a lot if interesting context to the ninja world. Previous volumes just had like score cards for the characters and they seemed kinda arbitrary, especially for the new characters.
It just doesn’t stop. From Kurama getting involved, to the wonderfully sweet protectiveness, to the acceptance. It really makes me fall in love with the characters.
And then there’s the freaking awesome battles with no pussy-footing around, dragging out the big battles without any hesitation.
And since I’ve also been watching the anime, I’m really annoyed with how slowly they’ve been taking THAT. Lol
In this volume the fight with Delta reached it's conclusion and we got to learn more about the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Kawaki is getting even close to the uzumaki family, and has decided to become a ninja.
Major/Minor spoilers ahead:
*Minor spoiler:
Naruto's fight with delta ended when he overwelmed her ability to absorb chakra. Then he hit her with a giant ragengan. Reather then being taken into custody to be interagated, she self destructed. Then her drone flew back to the Kara base. Where her Consciousness was up loaded to anther body. So it seems like the only way to kill delta or any other memebers of Kara with similar abilies would be to destroy the drone before it can reach the kara base. It also means that other Kara memeber can be deafed by overwelming thier absorbion abilities. I hope they don't just have naruto spam rasengan to defeat each memeber of Kara he comes across.
During the fight with Delta, Kawaki took a blow from delta that left him without the use of his hand. He received this injury when he lept in front of an attack meant for Naruto. This attack makes it impossible to heal. After the fight Naruto gave him one of his artificial hands to use, thought it has to be powered by naruto own Chakra. It was after this Kawaki ask Naruto to train him as a ninja. They slow a quick training montage of Kawaki learning how to tree clime with Naruto. Then Learning Shuriken throwing from Sarada and Boruto.
*Major spoiler:
During this time they show what sasuke was doing. The scroll Konohamaru brough back that contrained data from Kawaki's black box was finally deciphered. It was was a location that can only be reached by space time ninjutsu. Sasuke whent there and found an Ōtsutsuki base. In the base where holographic images of all the aliens that came to earth, each of them in pairs. Momoshiki and Kinshiki where sent as a pair. Then it was revealed Kaguya and Jigen where sent to earth as partners. Sasuke then found a tailed beast chained under the floor and witnessed Jigen siphon chakra off from it. After siphoning the chakra Jigen took on a more Ōtsutsuki appearance.
Fan speculation/Fantasy :
It seems Jigen may have been who Kaguya was preparing to fight. Maybe part of the reason she ate the chakra fruit. The story of why Kaguya whent evil never felt sastifying. Her human husband tried to kill her so she turned on humanity. Perhaps Jigen has even more sisnster plans in mind for humanity. Naruto often convince pretty major villian in the seires to be heros even if only shorty before thier death such as in the case of Zabuza, Nagato and Obito. Perhaps something similar with Kaguya could be done in Boruto. Perhaps characters such as Kaguya and Orochimaru who never got a redemption arc in Naruto will get a redemption arc in Boruto.
Sorry for alot of speculation half the fun of reading stories is thinking of all the things that could happen. Kaguya was a charater I kinda liked so I hope maybe when Naruto is looking for allies against Jigen she might be considered. Overall really good volume Kawaki is getting alot of charater develpment which I like. I am really starting to like Boruto now.
This was a pretty good volume as we have the epic fight between Delta and Naruto and you just see she is superior and uses the absorbing attack and same laser beams and even when she targets Hima, Naruto's daughter, he gets pissed and Kawaki was able to defend her then, but Naruto has such a cool moment when he overloads her with Rasengan and she isn't able to take it and kinda self destructs but her chip is taken elsewhere and she kinda resurrects. Also the closeness between Boruto and Kawaki is growing as you can see their bonds growing and he calls him brother too which was so sweet and we have Sasuke learn about the Ototsuki's as he investigates and he sees they arrived in pairs of two, like Momoshiki and Kinshiki but also Kaguya and who else..meanwhile a Tailed-Beast is there and Jigen is absorbing Chakra from him? The mysteries continues and its really cool seeing it and there is so much pay off and cool moments and what not! Just epic!

This is one of the best volumes in the series so far. The fight between Delta and Naruto was wonderful. You can see how experienced Naruto is in terms of combat. Getting beaten just to learn some information was hilarious. He would fight even better if the kids weren't there. The ending was also interesting as we see the members of Kara talking about Boruto, his Karma and Kawaki. Kawaki trying to learn ninjutsu was cute. It's Jiraşya and Naruto all over again. Brilliant volume!
this is really getting more and more exciting! im really looking forward to each chapters <33 mitski is Reaaaally cute AAAAA also loving boruto and kawaki's improving rel!!!
- Delta have advanced regenerative power and she can shoot laser beam from her eyes. Her laser beam can negate the regenerative power if hit. Naruto still got the upperhand in the battle as long no interferences from Boruto, Kawaki and Himawari. - After seeing Naruto being beaten and nearly got shot by the laser beam, Boruto interfered. He throw a Vanishing Rasengan toward Delta. Delta still can see the attacks using her drone and easily absorbed it. - Delta divert her attention toward Boruto and Himawari. She throw Himawari upward and ready to shot her with the laser beam. Naruto trying to save Himawari. At the final moment, Kawaki save both of them resulting in he lose his arms. - Naruto and Delta fight resume. Naruto used Odama Rasengan toward Delta and she still can absorbed it. Naruto increase the amount of chakra into his Rasengan until Delta achieved her limit. Naruto then used the Rasengan as his final attack. Delta have been defeated. - Delta's body is self destructed. Her consciousness fly back to the drone and she got a new body at Kara's hideout. Now, Kara knows that Boruto also have Karma. - Kawaki have a new artificial hand which operated by using Naruto's chakra. Kawaki starts his training with Naruto to master ninjutsu. - Sasuke infiltrated a dimension that only can be reached using space-time ninjutsu. There, he saw an image that shows that Ohtsutsuki come in a pair; Momoshiki and Kinshiki while Kaguya and other mysterious Ohtsutsuki. - Sasuke found a Juubi that being restrained under the platform. Jigen come to that place and absorb some of Juubi's chakra. Jigen transformed into someone who looks like Ohtsutsuki that pair with Kaguya.
Naruto vs Delta comprised most of the volume while the rest ties up loose ends while finally advancing the Kawaki and Boruto relationship further, though honestly, it could be generalized as the Kawaki and his adoptive family, as well as feelings about the ninja world in general. I like this development and like how it allows us to continue to have someone there to understand Boruto on a level that others cant and also to be there to push him on in a way that we didn't get to see with Naruto and Sasuke.
Sasuke's tease of the antagonists plan is interesting and I look to see where we go from there.
Extras included in-depth background briefs on the ninja world and society from a political and financial standpoint. It was interesting.
At the start we see Delta drop in and start to try and take Kawaki back. Naruto used his lava style rasenshuriken which was my favorite part about the fight. Boruto tries a rasengan but Delta just absorbs it. Delta goes after Himawari and tries to kill her. Surprisingly Kawaki jumps in and takes a hit so it wouldn't hurt Kawaki.
They end up killing Delta and Kawaki loses his arm. Naruto gives him a prosthetic. After a day or two Kawaki and Boruto go back into the city to meet the other kids. Naruto starts to teach Kawaki in ninjutsu. My favorite part in the book is when Kawaki starts to put together the vase he broke. This shows that he isn't as bad as he is perceived.

The battle with Delta concludes, and Kawaki begins to come out of his shell around Konoha. There are a few little developments from Sasuke in terms of the villain plot, but this is mostly just a flashy fight scene volume. The conversation between Kawaki and Kurama was a stand-out though.
I think these volumes are a bit too short, especially compared to Naruto, and the erratic schedule makes it hard for the momentum to really build.
It went down in this volume. First off let's say that Boruto needs MUCH further training. Also glad to see Naruto is still the Hokage for a reason. We are getting a lot more insight into Kara but it still remains a mystery who they are and what they are doing. Everything is speeding up and I Like it!!
Enjoying the continuing development of Kawaki and the ties to the past. Poor Sarada and Mitsuki aren't getting much story time these days. This is the last volume my library will probably get for a while because they just bought 5-9 all at once. *sob*
