I didn’t realize how much I missed Tanya, Sue, and Ellen till I started this book.
It was fun to travel with them to Santa Fe, New Mexico. The descriptions were so vivid and it was like I was right there with them along for the ride and enjoying the New Mexico food.
Like the previous books, the author surprised me with the the long forgotten history of the Japanese interment camp. I didn’t know they had any in New Mexico so I was surprised.
I really enjoyed the paranormal elements to the story. It made everything so much more intriguing, The mystery and what really happened at Suicide Bridge.
I’m looking forward to finding out what happened at the Biltmore estates! If you enjoy reading paranormal women fiction with a bit of history, then check out this wonderful series.

I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrators voice is perfect for the ladies. The variety of inflections and tones used really elevated the story for me.

#6 is another hit!!!

Well, it's no surprise that Eva Pohler has knocked another one outta the park! These ladies are a hoot and are back even better this time around. This book had me laughing in tears and the crying in other spots. Not to mention the fact that I couldn't put it down. I do believe I loved every second of it. And yall New Mexico Mexican Food definitely isn't no South Texas Tex-Mex!!! That stuff is burn your mouth, throat and stomach fire hot when you're not expecting it...and like Ellen and Tayna's experience I was a big ol'wussie begging for something bland. Give me good ol South Side San Antonio any day over that stuff, lol. (I get it though, it's what we're raised on and used to.)

When Tanya, Sue, and Ellen are vacationing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ellen reveals her plans to buy a house there as an artist retreat but thing become complicated when they become embroiled in another paranormal mystery. This book touches on some of the darker parts of US history and illustrated how fear can affect a country and its citizens. It is well written with great characters and a captivating plot that pulls at your heart. The narrator of the audiobook, Debbie Andreen, did an excellent job and really brought the characters to life. These women are a fun crew and their paranormal adventures are thrilling and always a pleasure to listen to

This is the first in this series I’ve read/listened to. But it was easy to get into and is definitely a stand alone. I loved this group of friends. They were hilarious. At one point, I thought I was going to have to pull off the road while I listened to the audiobook. It was so funny! There were other moments that were sad and would bring me to tears. And some sort of scary parts in regards to the shade. It was so sad about how he felt and how the suicides happened. But never fear, the ladies worked their magic to bring it all together and bring a good ending.

If you like audiobooks, this one is great. The narrator is really good and really puts the passion into it.

History Has Repercussions

An angry spirit haunts Santa Fe, NM. This time the ladies are not headed to a haunted house. Ellen wants a get away from her new spouse. She wants to paint in peace and is looking to buy an old house in Santa Fe, NM, where many artists reside. But they do find a horrendous haunting. Many people have died. This time, Ellen's life is at risk. Great story based around a real life shameful act.

Ellen, Tanya and Sue head to Santa Fae to check out a house that Ellen wants to buy to make herself an artists retreat. When the get there they learn about the Japanese Internment camp that was near by. They also learn about the bridge near the house, nicknamed the suicide bridge, because of all the people who killed themselves there. That begins their quest to learn about what happened there and try to make things right.
Another great mystery in the series.

Suicide Bridge

Pohler has done it again. This crew of besties are awesome. They bring out the best in each other. Putting them into amazing places with a ghostly situation is the perfect story. This tale in Santa Fe made my heart hurt for the historical events that happened. I’m excited to see where life and the next adventure take this crew! Loved this book!

I'm curious where I missed the change in Ellen and Brian's relationship. Having said that the timing of the book is great as I'll be going to Santa Fe and will be looking into the history from this book.

I'm so impressed with the research that goes into her writing.
