The thrilling conclusion to the subversive dystopian series Divided Elements.
With her conditioning finally unravelled, Anaiya is free. But her single-minded pursuit to pull down the Orthodoxy is made more complicated with the return of old friends and foes who challenge and fight her for the chance to decide Otpor's future. In a world of fragile trust and heavy betrayals - will Anaiya finally get what she wants? Or will she, too, join the legacy of her former mentor - the infamous Original Resistor, Kane 148?
I loved the complex storyline, the confusion/hopelessness in the main characters as they try to plot a revolution, the sparks of hope as they work together, and the unpredictable endings. (Not happy but very satisfying) I couldn’t put the books down. Flawed characters trying to accomplish something way beyond their skill level, but not giving up. Definitely an adult book- lots of drinking and sex and hookups.
This series was enjoyable. The final book builds a great deal of momentum, but the climax was a little disappointing. 3.5, but I give it 4 for the overall quality of the series.
