The weekly self-care project is a great book that tackles the four main areas of a human being. Physical care, spiritual care, emotional care and mental care.
Each section has about 13 tips or strategies that will challenge you to rethink how to care for yourself and how you see yourself.
One of my favorite advice is we have the power of choice. Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the Inside Out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing and complete.
Breath with Intention!
I find it helpful to do it every few days or so instead of weekly to get the most benefit from it.
Every page uses scripture as inspiration for self-care and prompts.
Excellent read if you are interested in tying your self care to your faith. I really liked the scriptural references and the sheer beauty of the book. I didn’t quit stick to weekly sometimes I read a page a day when I needed the inspiration. Great read!
This a great book about self care! I loved how it provided a devotional each week regarding self care. I like how you are able to write down your thoughts as you go. This book is repetitive which did not benefit anything.
