When cupcake-loving croupier Tiffany Black investigates the death of a local prankster, she's pleased when she seems to have solved it straight away...
"Winters will have you giggling into your book!"
One suspect "confesses" to the crime immediately.
And then another suspect “confesses” to being the real killer.
And then another suspect confesses.
And another... and another.
Soon Tiffany and Ian find themselves back to square one, unsure of who the real killer is, and why all their suspects are intent on confessing their “guilt”.
Meanwhile, Ian joins a secret society, and Stone asks Tiffany to investigate a new acquaintance...

Pranks and Perplexities in Las Vegas is the twenty-sixth book in The Tiffany Black in Las Vegas Mystery Series. Though it can be read as a standalone, it's best read in series order.
This is a lighthearted cozy mystery featuring a strong female protagonist, some unusual friends and family, and a mystery that needs solving! It has no graphic gore, bad language or sex.
Another fun visit with Tiffany and the gang. This time Tiffany is hired to find out who has been vandalizing a food truck. After accomplishing that task, the vandal turns up dead. So she's hired to find the real killer since her client has been charged with the murder. Only problem is everybody and their brother is confessing to the crime! So who really did it? And on top of that Stone has a case for her that involves a friend of his. Between solving the murder, working Stone's case and her regular job at the casino Tiffany is run ragged. Lots of laughs with this one. Great characters! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This installment of the Tiffany Black murder mysteries was great fun. There was a mobster turned semi-legit, his assistant of dubious character. (They operated a burrito truck.), Nanna, Stone, Emily, Ian, Sally, Elwood, and a host of suspects. Of course,Tiffany solved both cases she was working on. For the next, there were numerous confessions. Iam joined a secret men's society, Sally got to see him and Tiffany in action (but lost her french fries). The book was just plain fun. I definitely enjoyed it.
Another perplexing case!! Tiffany and Ian get hired by a burrito food truck owner to find out who is tagging his food truck and doing so much damage.. well of course things get quickly out of control as their client is arrested for murder but then three other people confess. It’s an all out war of who confesses the most. Can Tiffany solve the case and find the killer? Of course she can along with some hi jinx along the way.
Manipulation, being sneaky, crossing the line for fame. The story was creative and twisting. Tiffany's PI jobs become more than she thinks. Sally is still with Ian and this story shows another side to her; munching on fries as things get crazy. Glad Ryan is out of the picture. Bittersweet - happy I got to read another Tiffany Black book but sad it's over and now I have to wait until whenever #27 comes out.
Tiffany and Ian are hired to hunt down a prankster who recently was spray painting a burrito truck and watching for their reaction. After they catch him he is murdered that night and her client asks him to help clear him. During the investigation 4 people confess and some more than once. She is also doing a little investigation for Stone so she is busy. Great reading and a nice mystery
Excellent addition to the Tiffany Black saga! Tiffany and Ian are doing it again - two cases at once, confusion and chaos at times, but always enjoyable! Stone is there, and Elwood is becoming almost friendly!
Tiffany and Ian originated with confessions to a murder investigation. They also have another case of a maybe cheating good digger. Lots going on and really fun.
So far all of the series has been pumping.. plot twists abound. Especially this book. Just when you thought it was solved, another one turn of the page and there it goes again. I highly recommend this book and the whole series.
As always lots of action with a vandalism issue that jumps into a complicated murder mystery. At the same time she and Ian are doing a background check on a woman. Lots of twists and turns with a surprise ending.
I have read nearly every book in this series and this one was perhaps the best yet! It really kept me guessing until the end. I always love an opportunity to catch up with Tiffany. :)
I can't wait to see what Tif gets into next. I love all the characters in this wonderful series by A. R. Winters and if you love cozies this series is a must read.
Good writing, but I hated the characters in this one. What a bunch of losers. Perhaps it's my age showing, but the whole internet basis for this one was silly.
