Kennedy Strong is a gorgeous twenty-one-year-old college student that had one bad relationship with her high-school sweetheart, Tristian, and it made her want to just focus on herself. Being a full-time student and working a full-time job, she doesn’t have a lot of time to spend with the opposite sex. A chance encounter with her teenage crush, Zaire Hart, brings back old feelings that Kennedy didn’t know still existed. In a short time, Zaire sweeps her off her feet, and she gives him the free time she only had reserved for herself. The only problem is that while Kennedy is giving almost all of herself to Zaire, he has a lot of secrets that he isn’t so forthcoming to share. Tasia Mitchell is Kennedy’s best friend since childhood. She’s also a beautiful twenty-one-year-old college student, but also add young mother to the mix. Tasia is in a relationship with her longtime boyfriend, Michael Hart, who also happens to be Zaire’s younger brother. Tasia and Michael have been together off and on for eight years. It seems after they had their daughter two years ago that they finally got their stuff together and were in a blissful relationship. While Tasia is on cloud nine and admiring the father and boyfriend that Michael is, she doesn’t know that he is keeping a secret that could break her heart and ruin their relationship forever. Join Kennedy and Tasia on the ride of their lives as they go through the best and worst time of their lives together. Will they be able to make it out on top, or will the crap they’re about to endure break them down all together?
Whew! Ok so I was pulled in initially bc I enjoyed the humor of the beginning chapter. It reminded me of the shenanigans me and my homegirls used to get into back in the day. But from there the drama poured out page after page. I mean EVERYONE had a secret! It was like whew wheee! I was side eyeing everyone, the babies included 🤣. This is a good read if you enjoy a book with lots juicy drama. When I tell y’all these characters make you want to fuss 😤🤦🏾♀️. I was yelling at them in the salon chair. Anywhoo, on to book 2, I have questions that need answers
This book is so good. But besides that I can’t get over how delusional and crazy Jewel and Monique are. Like Monique jealous of a little girl. Jewel crazy self did her best friend so dirty, like she needs her a** beat. I was loving Kennedy and Zaire relationship, too bad he was keeping secrets. Michael instead of being truthful he made his problems a million times worse, I don’t see how you come back from that.
Well, well, well. As we say in Barbados, "Come out things!"
There is so much drama going on this book and I don't know why I must find out what happens next, but I do.
How will the Hart brothers resolve all their baby mama issues? How will Tasia and Kennedy deal with Monique and that traitor, Jewel? And that psycho stalker Tristian needs to be dealt with.
This book was soooooo good, that damn Jewel and Monique are batshit crazy how do you expect a man to choose you over his child and to also choose you over his first love the one he wants to marry. I wanted to hear the he'll out of Monique. But this book was so bomb too me.
I love it!!❤️ You did a great job and I can’t wait for part two to come out!! I knew the it would end exactly how it did and I’m so happy!! I hope everybody can have their happy ending and relationship will be mended!! The petty girls must go!! I don’t want to give anything away but you get it!!🙌🏽💯
What a ghetto mess. The girls were either dumb/naive or selfish stupid tricks. The dudes were all fuck boys that swore they loved their women but were doing them dirty.
Surprisingly I was still hooked. This ended on a cliffy and I'm damn sure gonna look for the next book to continue the saga
Editing could've been a little better but not so bad that I'm not willing to keep going
