I basically read every Jenny Colgan book in the summer of 2020 - they were so comforting. Lighthearted but not fake. Perfect escape books.

Book Review: "The Bookshop on the Shore" by Jenny Colgan"

"The Bookshop on the Shore" is a heartwarming and uplifting novel that celebrates the power of books, community, and second chances. Jenny Colgan's latest installment is a delightful addition to her repertoire, perfect for fans of feel-good fiction.

Alongside her young daughter, Ailsa navigates the challenges of small-town life, bookshop renovations, and unexpected friendships. I'm only reviewing B0okshop on the Shore. For some reason, it only shows up as a five pack. I'm enjoying Jenny Colgan this summer with her light writing, both light and Light without the darkness I am so used to reading. She reminds me of when life was simpler as well as lighter. Her characters are all individual, her plots interesting, and her surprises welcomed. Will I ever get back to Nobel winners and translated novels?

I didn't read the entire set, but couldn't find the "The Bookshop on the Shore' listing by itself. I was a fluffy read, nice escape.

This is a review for the book An Island Christmas. It started off as if it was going to be a lovely cosy Christmas read but it went a little downhill in the middle. Not my favourite Colgan novel.
