This one is about fifty-fifty on erotica and actual plot generally lacking on transitions between the two. I like the positivity about consent and exploration for preferences regarding the sex scenes. However, on execution they tend to be repetitive in their descriptions. The main plot involves Rowena Adelia stepping up to stop (Lyria) her best friend's engagement to the crown prince because she already has a lover. Cecil rewards her bravery but demands Rowena take that place instead which angers Lyria's father and upsets the power balance of the Adelia household. Trigger warnings for abuse and violence. It's not necessarily bad, but the shallow development of the characters makes it hard to stand out in a crowded light novel field.
