Three friends experiencing life’s uncertain changes decide they need relaxation beyond the usual girls’ night out. A friend tells them about, The Den, an upscale male strip club. They find out the club is a shell of what really lies beneath—and soon, the ladies are venturing into their mind and body’s wildest desires.

I didn't enjoy this book at all. STRIP was not nearly as good as the first book. If I'm being honest, I was completely bored with it. At one point, I stopped reading and got on TikTok. It took me all day to read this book because, I just could not get into it. I wasn't really feeling Patience and Lincoln as a couple. It was hard for me to believe they were in love with one another because, there was so little interaction between them outside of the club. Hell, they spent more time together in STIFF then they did in this book. I just had a hard time believing the chemistry between them. Aside from it being boring, the dialogue was ridiculously corny, vanilla, and uninteresting. Often times, I felt like Patience and Lincoln were white. The dialogue between them did not come off as black characters talking to each other. Honestly, there was just no black vibes in this book. I wasn't a fan of Patience and Lincoln's from the start so, I already knew I wasn't going to like STRIP but I at least hoped I would. I'm really looking forward to Brandy and Michael's story so, I hope STROKE doesn't disappoint.
Another successful release of awesomeness! This book can be considered a manual for fantasy fulfillment. The pages dripped with passion, lust, eroticism, intimacy, and BDE! SNN left you satisfied after every encounter. Her pen is so skilled in The Den and creativity of her characters! Highly Recommended read! Great job SNN!! 🎊🎉🍾🥂
I Really Enjoyed the journey of Patience & Lincoln….Lincoln is a Photographer and he’s attracted to Patience who’s a Author. Unfortunately, Patience isn’t interested in a relationship because of the recent breakup & treatment from an ex-boyfriend. Lincoln has to go through the den to prove he’s not like others.
I don’t know which I liked better the gladiator or the warrior 😏. Either way this was definitely a 10/10. Lincoln was so patient with Patience. I think it’s so hilarious how they don’t figure out the men at The Den is their “man” in real life but hey let’s all stick to the fantasy lol.
Yes, yes, yes, yes. My my my my my. I totally loved Patience and Lincoln's story. The accuracy of the emotions women deal with after being hurt and the hope that someone is out there that will faithfully love them. Truly a great love story with a main course of FREAKY! Baby I can't wait for Brandy's story! Expecting it to drop in 5...4...3....2...1🔥🔥🔥🔥
3.5 ⭐️ This one was just okay! Lincoln and Patience didn’t seemed evenly matched! It’s like the relationship was forced, she wanted different things then he did! This went on the ENTIRE BOOK, it was exhausting!! & to put the cherry on top, Patience annoyed me more then I would like to say!
I thought book one was on fire...book two is on blaze. This series is all that! Lincoln and Patience's interactions captured and enticed throughout. Once transformed into Gideon and Giselle...took it to a whole notha level. You could feel their heat jumping from the pages. OMG! Whew, that Den is something else. Loved catching up with their friends and the introduction of new characters.
Great job Ms. Stephanie, you took this genre and ran all the way to the front. Thank you for sharing another HOTTTT story with us. Can't wait until the next book.
Another steamy one for the record. I enjoyed every bit of this story. Talk about patience for Patience...whew! I understood her reluctance to move forward after a horrible breakup but goodness could she not see, not know that Lincoln was 100% bae?! He was determined and watching him pursue her as he did was sexy as hell. I am looking forward to Michael and Brandy's story next!
I really loved book one so this one felt like more of the same thing just a different heroine and slightly different baggage. I did like that Patience was very clear about what she wanted from men, dating and the Den. I appreciate her ability to clearly communicate what her wishes, desires and limits are.
The one thing that I couldn’t get past is how she didn’t recognize both voice and eyes. That just didn’t make sense. In book 1, It worked for me because there was a period of not being around each other. Here, you literally talked to dude on the phone and said he had a sexy phone voice. You worked with him in person as a professional photographer so he had to give directions and instructions verbally. Now you don’t know his voice or can’t recognize his eyes, body shape, hands…
Other than that major issue, it was a fun and sexy read. I finished it in one setting. I will read the next one.
Another hot, steamy and off the charts read by this author. Lincoln was a man on a mission to get Patience by any means and The Den became the perfect place. As much as Patience tried to hide her attraction to Lincoln, it didn't work. She may have been living out her wildest fantasy with Gideon but Lincoln was always at the forefront of her mind. There was no denying the attraction these two had for each other and The Den provided the perfect opportunity for these two to release all the sexual tension they were trying to hold back. Lincoln was the perfect man Patience needed. Can't wait to read about Brandy and Michael.
Whew... Patience was testing my patience! I'm glad Lincoln was up for the task! This book was good and raunchy! I still wonder how Lincoln would have handled that menage trois!
This book was just as good as the first book in the series!!!! I loved how patient Lincoln was with Patience, although she did get on my last nerve acting like she didn't like Lincoln like that, even when she realized who he was at the Den!!!!
I can say this was worth the wait baby!! Stephanie has outdone herself again with this series. The ideas she comes up with, no words can express!! Hubby really love your ideas!! Can't wait for the next one!!!
Listen, Stephanie Norris has found her sweet spot with erotica!! Strip is the 2nd book in the Heavy on the D series. And baby, it’s HEAVY! This book follow the story of Lincoln and Patience. There is obvious attraction between the two, but Patience is reluctant to give more than her body to any man at this time. Lincoln wants it ALL and is not above going to any length to make Patience know this. The Den is the place to be and with each book Stephanie dives a little deeper into the club. This book is romantic, funny, and HEAVY on the D. If hot sex on a platter ain’t your thing don’t play yourself. But it if is, then please do yourself a favor and hit that one click button. Thank me later!!
Where is this den located? Stephanie has officially made her mark as an erotica novelist. This friends to lovers book was absolutely amazing. It kept my attention from beginning to end. Lincoln/Gideon and Patience/Giselle were meant to be together, even though she really tried hard to not give in to er desires. The shock that Lincoln displayed when his mother told him about her and his dad’s time at the den was hilarious. Can’t wait to read about Brandy and Michael’s adventures. Definitely a must read book!
Damn!!! This series is getting hotter by the book. I’m glad I found another box of candy cigarettes because I ate the whole box after this masterpiece. Lincoln and Patience were so good together. Highly recommended.
SADLY, I didn't enjoy the 2nd book in this series as much as the first. I found Patience to be quite ANNOYING and I felt Lincoln could do BETTER. Their interaction with one another was not as smooth and connected as Eric and Asia in the first book "Stiff". The chemistry between Patience and Lincoln seemed FORCED. I was hoping it would get better as the book went along, but NAH! I found the dialogue and the storyline for this couple a bit boring and stiff. The romance felt one-sided, Lincoln seemed to be settling for the crumbs that Patience would throw his way when it suited her. Well, there is one more to go in this series, I HOPE it's more ENGAGING than this one. I am a HUGE fan of Mrs. Norris, but this one was just OKAY and it took me forever to FINALLY finish it!
Hmmmm......I don't know why it's called Strip when there was no stripping involved. If The Den has a strip club, then I expected Lincoln to be on that stage! Anyway, didn't like this one as much as Stiff. Something about Patience got on my nerves. It was hard for me to believe that Lincoln was in love with her. How? Only time they were together was when they were at The Den. Very little interaction between the two outside of that. Whatever. Looking forward to Brandy's book since we know nothing about her except she's recently divorced.
Also some of the sex scenes were kind of...a bit much. Like I had to skip come of them cause I was feeling second hand embarrassment for Patience. *shrugs*
I already knew, when I read the first book in this series, that I'd love each book...so far this is true. Spicy, Spicy, Spicy😏😜.
I love the 'healing to love' troupe, if you will, and how incredibly great SNN can make you want more and more just by her incredible writing skills.
Ms. Patience Addison was a women hurt, yet very sexually frustrated. After her last disaster of a relationship, she just wanted the 'D' and boy oh boy was she going to get that, and much more😏.
Mr. Lincoln Black (I love this name btw) had his eyes on Patience from the moment he took in her beauty through his camera lens. He'd taken photos of plenty of gorgeous women, being a photographer and all, yet there was more than meets the eye with Patience, and he was going to find out what intrigued him about her. What he didn't know was just what parts of her he'd have to go thru, just to get a chance at romance or more.
The Den is becoming my favorite upscale club. Now that Mrs. Black, Lincolns' freaky mom😜, has let it be known that that's where she met his father, her now husband and where Lincoln was conceived, my antennas are all the way up and I'm hoping in the next book even more is revealed about The Den. I'm really feeling Daniellas' (The Dens owner) cool girl, laid back vibes. I have a feeling there's more there, yet we shall see😉.
I'm ready to finish off this series with Brandys' story and see just what's going on between her and Mr. Michael...but since I started this series BEFORE it was fully written, I have to wait, grrr🙄😒. I'm sure it'll be worth it. Highly recommend this book and series.
These two are about to be my absolute favourite of the series, I love the teasing and boldness is 200/100 ! Unmatched ! Like come on the phone calls swept me off my feet.
But want to know the moment I collapsed it took one sentence from Mr black:
« I would never hurt you, Patience. Ever, ever, ever. I would nurture your heart, always doing my part to keep you whole. You are beautiful. Inside, outside. Your spirit lights up my life. I need you to understand, hurting you is hurting me. »
That sentence right here got me eye watering !
Like Mr Black is definitely my Mr Right !
Don’t get me wrong I love our girl Patience her whole personality she’s successful, supportive of others, bold and confident. But not gonna yeiy when she left him in the rain I was like:
😏 girl you did right so now I can go get my man.
But obviously sis got herself together and hold on tight to her lover as she should !
This whole book is giving: Not another love song by Ella Mai
I'd be at the Den every other night too if a 6'5 "Warrior" wanted to do me on monkey bars and a HUMAN SPIDER WEB! whew lawdddd!!!
The playlist, the pleasure, and the play rooms!! MY MY MY!! The Fun house would've been my favorite too though. Watching yourself in the mirrors?! Chiilllleeee.
This was a FWB to lovers trope. (lol) Patience was just trying to live her best life after a not so great break up. The only thing she wanted broken was her BACK! But, how does that work out when the man that's f*ckin' you senseless wants more? Knowing you don't!??
And at this point, I'm convinced everybody and their mama can skate in ATL. Speaking of skating, Our favorite uncle Jerome makes another special appearance in this book. He actually was on his best behavior this time.
I said it in my last review and I'll state it again. I absolutely loved the friendship dynamics in this book. Very realistic.
SN: Lincolns mom is ME. lol I talk to my son about any and everything. She doesn't sugarcoat a damn thang! lol
Alright now! First I must say the Den is where it's at! So, so sexy! Giselle and Gideon were not playing any games! Whew! Passed out cold? Damn! This read felt different than the first book to me, as I could feel more emotion from the characters. Patience, still raw, sad, angry from her breakup and is done with men. All she wants is the D, no strings attached. The Den seems to be the perfect escape for her to let out her frustrations, with no feelings involved. When feelings started to brew for Lincoln, she had to shut that ish down quick! No men, was her motto! Or was it? Lincoln is a sweetheart! He quickly falls for Patience, wanting to be her savior, by showing her that all men are not the same. Just wanting to love, and be loved was all that Lincoln desired. Patience was stubborn, and her fear of being hurt, clouded her judgement of Lincoln. Glad they finally came to some understanding, and got it together. Good read! 👍👍👍
Patience was trying to detox men after a rough relationship. Unfortunately as fate would have it she crossed paths with a beautiful man that kept her wondering about a possible relationship. Ultimately she decided she was not ready. Instead she would be free and attend the den for a special night out.
Lincoln was head over heels for Patience. However, he didn't want to be her rebound. So rather than pursue her like he wanted to he decided to just be friends. After spending time together and recognizing the chemistry that was extremely powerful between them he knew he wanted her. Knowing she was going to the den he knew this was his chance.
Similarly to the last story their connection leads them together. From here they share the sexiest moments either of them experienced. I felt like they fell quickly, but maybe it was because they had been dancing around their desires for awhile. I enjoyed their story.
Patience is just getting out of a bad relationship when she meets Lincoln Black. His a photographer and he completed her headshots for her new or renewed writing career. They instantly click and become friends. She's digging him and he's definitely digging her, but at this point in her life Patience just wants her back blown out. Because she can talk to Lincoln she tells him she's going to The Den. Lincoln makes sure he's on their roster before her visit and notified when she arrives. Lincoln becomes Gideon and the games begin. Patience fear reigns over her knowing what she actually feels for Lincoln, can she overcome that fear and let him love her. Lincoln was a patient man outside of The Den. He wooed Patience, he was there for her, and he showed that he genuinely cared. He just wanted her to want him as much as she wanted Gideon. I could appreciate and understand her apprehension, but Sis had the best of both worlds.
