When he agreed to help fulfill a late friend’s final wish, he never expected to find the one thing he swore he could live true love.
Cody Evans has a life that works for him. Every fall, he closes up his kayak shop in Sunset Ridge, Alaska and heads across the world to wherever the stunt work takes him. By design, his lifestyle doesn’t allow for serious relationships or romantic entanglements. His family isn’t thrilled that his newest filming job will take him away for three whole years, but they’ve accepted it.
Days before Cody is scheduled to get on a plane, a woman shows up in town to deliver a special letter to him.
Jenna Kingsley has spent most of her life trying to please the older sister who raised her after their mother passed. But after years of falling short, she’s fed up. When Grandpa’s will requests that she hand deliver a letter to a man who lives in Alaska, Jenna doesn’t think twice about loading up her dog and all her belongings.
She heads north, without plans to ever come back.
Little does she realize that in the letter was an Alaskan bucket list. She must complete all the items with a man she’s never met in order to receive the keys to Grandpa’s cabin—the very ticket to freedom she’s been seeking.
Cody doesn’t have time for sightseeing, but he’d never forgive himself if he refused his late friend’s final favor. Even if it means spending time with a woman who intrigues and challenges him in ways he never expected.
He could very easily fall in love, if only he believed in such things.

4 star review Absomoosely In Love (Finding Love in Alaska #7)by Jacqueline Winters AUDIO REVIEW:
This was an entertaining romantic story that ticked all the boxes for me. From the first chapter I was hooked on the story that was told. The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them. The chemistry between them was intense and I found myself laughing out loud on a number of occasions with the witty banter and humour. The secondary characters were just as entertaining and I hope to see more of them at a future date.
Jenna packs up all her stuff and her dog and goes to Alaska to receive her inheritance of a cabin from her grandfather, Ed. Ed is also the name of the moose that seems to stick his nose in where it does not belong and at the wrong time. Jenna is to drop off a letter from her grandfather to Cody, a man he befriended and who is leaving for a stunt job shortly. Cody and Jenna find out there is a bucket list of things she must do before she can inherit the cabin, but because he old friend asks in the letter, Cody will stay a few more days to help Jenna complete the list. The characters have great backstories, crazy families and walls surrounding their hearts. The storyline follows them as they start to open up while working on the bucket list. Speedbumps, drama, surprises, changes in plans and more keep the pages turning as you can not stop. Loved the chemistry and caring that comes through. Well written story with a great ending.

ABSOMOOSELY IN LOVE is the seventh book in the Sunset Ridge series. Each story in this series will stand on its own, but for maximum enjoyment I recommend reading them all.
I love this forced-proximity slow romance. Well, not so slow. It’s really just a few days, but they are packed with a lot of bucket-list items that provide Cody and Jenna with the time to grow together as most would in a longer timeframe. It doesn’t feel rushed except that Cody has that deadline for his flight.
A special addition was Ed the moose also finally has a lady moose! His presence in these stories is always a great giggle and I love the ingenious ways that the author brings this wild animal in as a match-maker. Keep on Yenta-Ed!

Title: ABSOMOOSELY IN LOVE Series: Sunset Ridge #7 Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: A – near perfect Received from: Jacqueline Winters (as an ARC gifted copy)
Cody has a dream work offer which instead for a few months is for 3 years and the last thing he expects is just before leaving is to do a bucket list together with a friends granddaughter after he recently passed away. Both Cody and Jenna aren't happy about the need to do this bucket list but as they start ticking off things they also start getting closer but Cody is meant to be leaving and Jenna has some serious issues with her craycray sister. Crazy families (both good and bad) , self doubt, and hiding from their feelings makes things difficult for these two love birds so it really is a will they won't they make it read!

Jenna needs Cody's help to complete her Grandpa's bucket list before she can have his cabin. Cody is trying to get out of town for a stunt job. But he can't ignore Jenna's request, especially since it originated with his old (deceased) friend. He's just going to help her out, and then he can go. They're not gonna fall in love. Ed the moose has other ideas, and is busy playing matchmaker with these two. He makes his presence known, usually at the most inconvenient moment possible. I love the chemistry between Cody and Jenna - so much fun watching them try to deny it. Sunset Ridge is the perfect small town setting for Ed's latest match. Such a fun story, and a great escape for a few hours as you get to know and fall in love with another couple matched up by Ed the resident moose. Jenna and Cody have a great time together as they compliment the list her grandfather left in order to inherit the cabin in Alaska. As Jenna falls in love with the town and the beauty of Alaska, she also falls for Cody and he her... Can she trust that he won't resent her for keeping him away from his adventures as a stunt man or will he convince her that there is more to life? Read this book and find out for yourself!

Jenna goes to Sunset Ridge, Alaska to claim her inheritance from her grandfather but she has to complete a bucket list of things with his friend Cody. Cody is a stuntman who met her grandfather on a movie set and they became close friends but he is on a short timeline to go to another job so he and Jenna spend time marking off the things on the list all the while wondering why he keeps leaving his family when he could just stay and maybe see if he and Jenna can work on a relationship. Of course Ed makes his appearance in this book like all the others.
Loved getting to revisit Sunset Ridge, Alaska and some of the characters we've met in previous books in the series. The characters, including the four-legged ones, are all well done.
I loved the emotional rollercoaster ride of this story. Such touching moments of grief, sweet friendship, love, and then the fun adventures and silly antics. All of it woven into a great reading experience.
This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Booksprout.
I didn't like Jenna at first since she expected Cody to drop everything and focus on fulfilling the list with her grandfather's will together. But spending time with Cody and getting her way out of her comfort zone does soften her up. I enjoyed reading about the the things her grandfather want to do with her, some of which I have to try if I ever make it to Alaska. I loved Jenna's goofy lovable dog who gives her a lot of comfort when she's afraid. There were a lot of funny, sweet, and romantic moments in this clean romance.
I am Absomoosely in Love with this book! (Cheesy, I know, but it's true.) I've enjoyed all the Sunset Ridge books, and they keep getting better and better. I liked how they were both fighting their feelings since he was leaving for three years and there was no use starting a relationship, but I especially liked that moment when they couldn't fight their feelings anymore. When they didn't want to. *happy sigh* You keep writing them and I'll keep reading them.
Cody is set to leave Sunset Ridge for three years doing stunt work for a tv series in Hawaii. Jenna is in Sunset Ridge Alaska to keep a promise to grandfather who recently passed away. Little did they know they would be spending a lot of time together completing a list of things Jenny and Cody needed to do together so Jenna could get the keys to her grandfather's cabin.
This story takes you on an emotional journey and on an adventure too. The characters are likeable and developed, the connection is believable, there are sad and happy moments to this story and it all flows along well.

While Cody helps Jenna complete the bucket list left by her grandfather he begins to see things through her eyes. He realizes he may have been running from his life in Sunset Ridge and maybe its time to stay for a while. This was such a sweet story, lots of discoveries and special relationships.
I loved this book and the whole series. Each books brings home that small town America, in this case Alaska, is home to love, great characters and the ever present matchmaker Ed. I can't get enough of this town and it's inhabitants. Enjoy!
Ed just has his work cut out for him getting all these people together lol.
Cody and Jenna work so well together and Graham is a sweetie!
(my only complaint from this series is that the epilogues are small glimpses into the next couple instead of an extra scene of the current couple because I just want a little more each time lol)
I enjoyed this installment in the series. I really liked all of the Alaskan activities they did. I also liked the lead up to the next book. This is a fun family to follow.

Cody is ready to leave his family for three years but first he has to complete an assignment from a dear friend. Show his home town to his granddaughter. Can he do it? Oh this is so sweet.
I love this series; this is the seventh book and I am looking forward to the eighth one. It is set in beautiful Alaska. It adds the comical side as a Moose is a matchmaker, who will he set up next?

She discovers that the remote Alaskan town is where she belongs. She has to fulfill 13 tasks to inherit a cabin and the adventure helps her to discover a family and experience emotions and know that she has found HOME.
Life isn't perfect, but Jenna and Cody's romance sure seemed that way. But when you think about it Cody was leaving for Maui in a few days for 3 years.
