“We don’t lick people.”

“Don’t we?”

Nora Lindberg doesn’t let life get her down. Disowned by her family and left by the man who was supposed to love her for the rest of their lives, she packs up her kids and goes in search of a second chance.

The small town she lands in was meant to be her fresh start, her chance at a better life. But instead she’s a broke single mom who spends her nights looking for the chocolate she hid from her kids.

When her ex lands on the local motorcycle club’s most wanted list and leads them straight to her door, her life is once again turned upside down.

But maybe a broody hot guy on a motorcycle is just the thing she never asked for but got, anyway.

Now the only question is: Will he be her savior or her downfall?

This is a standalone romantic comedy and set in the Sweet Dreams universe.

I love the written word in all forms and shapes and if I'm not glued to a book I'm attempting to write one.

I’m a frequent blonde moment sufferer and still trying to figure out how to adult. I live in Melbourne, Australia, with my two little humans, the holder of my heart and two furry demons. I love to hear from readers so feel free to get in touch.

This book captured my attention from the brightly colored cover and even though we are told not to judge a book by the cover, this one screamed "read me" and sounded fun and quirky. Adult Supervision Required by Sarah Peis took readers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and antics, some crazy. In this book, we meet Nora who is a single mother to two young children Luca and Lena. Her ex is a waste of space and trouble follows him and now she has to work as a bartender at a strip club that is run by Bikers to pay the bills. What will happen though when her ex turns up begging for a place to crash as he is in danger. The next morning, she and Lena are kidnapped by Bikers and Nora discovers that her waste of an ex has stolen from the bikers and now they believe that Nora can lead them to him. The thing is Nora knows that's not true, but doesn't say much and ends up having hottie Sebastian - a bouncer from the club she works at as her bodyguard. Soon Nora and her kids' lives are thrust into the world of bikers, dangerous men, and a whole lot of trouble when Sebastian's real identity is revealed. This was a cutesy and fun read with Nora being quite a quirky character and I loved the interaction between herself, her kids, and the bikers. It felt like one big mismatched family. If you are looking for a fun romantic comedy read, then check out Adult Supervision Required by Sarah Peis today.

This was a fun read even with the secrets and stalkers. Nora worked hard to provide for her family despite all the wrongs done to her. Sebastian was gruff, broody, and yet so sweet. I loved the MC world built within this story, their support and love, as well. The kids were funny and well written so that I could picture their antics. I recommend this story and look forward to the next one in the series.

I received a copy of this story through Xpresso Tours, and this is my unsolicited review.

As writers, we're always told that your ability to hook a reader into your story lies in your ability to deliver enticing first sentences. Sarah has the gift of hooking you into her stories like a tornado of wit, humor, and plot twists from the very first chapter. So that already tells a lot of her storytelling and how much you will actually enjoy reading her books.

In regards to the romantic plotline, you've got your brooding hottie with a temper, plus secrets, on one hand. And your clueless, feisty heroine who you can love and hate at the same time on the other. While Sebastian is an enigmatic but enjoyable character, when he's not being a jerk, Nora won in the character development department. What makes Nora so unique despite her stubbornness and cluelessness that can make you want to pull at her hair sometimes? She's a single mother trying to survive day by day.

I believe Sarah pays a nostalgic and realistic, but still humorous tribute to motherhood through Nora. Her fierceness and relentlessness as character traits are intensified due to the love she clearly feels for her two children. She's willing to move heaven and earth for them. The sacrifices she makes are something mothers can relate to all too well.

RomComs and Chicklit genre do not always portray characters like Nora, so I'm glad Sarah did. She gives a voice to the struggles of motherhood, finding love and trust as a single parent, in a comedic and enjoyable kind of way. And even though you can even pity Nora sometimes, you can also tell that she's not alone and has made a tribe of her own to survive the hurdles of life with her children.

So if your kind of story involves imperfect characters with unique life circumstances, witty, funny, and real but also a dose of unrealistic events to satisfy your inner reader fantasies, then Adult Supervision Required is for you.

Nora worked two jobs just to keep her head above water. During the day she worked at home as a virtual assistant which was perfect since she had 2 small children. Luca was 4 and Lena 2. Her second job was waitressing at a strip club. A job she dreaded every night she worked, but you can't be choosy when you have kids to think about.

A day after her scumbag ex begged to sleep on her couch three huge scary guys on motorcycles showed up at her door and practically kidnapped her and then let her know she would be under constant watch until they found her ex who owed them a ton of money. Her goaler just happen to be Sebastián the head of security at the strip club. The 6'3" of muscular perfection she's been crushing on even though in the year she's worked there they've never spoken.

I loved this book! It is action packed with a few twists. The characters are amazing! From the motorcycle club, the strippers she works with and her best friends everyone is full of personality. The chemistry between Nora and Sebastián is smoking and the sex is sizzling hot.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more books by Sarah Peis in the future.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a rom-com, sister-tribe, proximity, romance, and endgame story. This single mom, Nora is a badass who is willing to go to any lengths to care for and protect her kids. The author portrays the grind of motherhood, finding love, and trust as a single parent, in a comedic and enjoyable kind of way. Using a strong, feisty, and somewhat naive character, Nora. Although, you can almost feel pity for Nora sometimes. You can also tell that she's not alone, and that she has made a strong sister tribe of her own to survive the hurdles of life with her children.

Namely, the children’s father. It's the sexy bodyguard at the club where she works who ends up her love interest. It is not all bad, and she is not totally pissed that her ex caused that part of the chain reaction. They would all go to the mat for each other. This is a humorous story of motherhood through Nora’s eyes. Her intensity and her downright pigheadedness as her perspective are intensified. All due to the love she obviously feels for her children. She will move heaven and earth for them.

And it's a sacrifice she makes that mothers can relate to all too well. So even if your brain says nah that wouldn’t happen, keep reading and enjoy the ride. It's a rom-com so enjoy it and laugh.

Heart and humor with a little drama mixed in that gives a fun and easy read.

This book was a great mix of that small town vibe with the hot grumpy alpha male and a sweet struggling single mom of two, who gets her world turned upside down.

Nora was such a sweetheart and although she was a struggling single mother of two little kids, she always had a positive spin on everything. Loved the fact that she was a total mom mouth; which everyone knows when you have littles around you can't swear so her word choices were hilarious. The best part of her character was her sincerity. Poor Nora has a d-bag ex and lands her in the middle of his drama with a MC in humptulips, which ends up sending the one guy Nora has secretly been checking out for a year now into her world. Nora is definitely involved in quite some drama from her ex to a stalkerish coworker and now a MC gang, so her life never seems boring.

Sebastián was the total alpha male biker with a grumpy side. He is now Nora's shadow and new roommate since he is looking for her ex. There is a bit of a twist with his character but you definitely feel their sexual tension between these two. He plays grumpy but definitely is attracted to Nora and they have a insta connection with a lot of ups and downs in their relationship. I can say he definitely is not to friendly but once he wants more with Nora his attitude does a quick change and you get to see that giant lovable side to him.

I was given an ARC for my honest opinion and I definitely can say I recommend this book for someone who likes the small town vibe with characters that are very relatable. You get some twists thrown in this hilarious romcom of a single mother and her grumpy biker. This book intertwines previous characters from their small town of humptulips and is fun see how everyone is going about their lives also. So if you like some laughs and a few twists to your romcom then this is your book.

I loved this book. And I want my own Sebastian a super hot biker.
The story is about a single mom with 2 little kids who works 2 jobs so she can makes ends made.
One night her deadbeat of an ex comes along and rather than fight him she lets him stay the night on the couch if he makes sure he's gone before the kids wake up.
After he's gone a biker gang knocks on the door and they take her and her daughter to their clubhouse. Apparantly her ex lent money and didn't pay it back. Because they think he will come back they let one of the bikers stay with her 24/7. And also always someone guarding the house. It's the biker who also works as a bouncer/security guard at her second job(waitressing at a strip club)
Needless to say that the grumpy biker is amazing with kids and there gonna be sparks flying sooner rather than later.
A lot of shit happens during the book which I'm dying to tel about but don't want to spoil the book.
It's a slow burn so there's plenty of time to get to know the characters with some amazing twists and turns and a lot of action.

Review of Adult Supervision Required by Sarah Peis
* * * * *
A fun and steamy small town MC romance read with some family cuteness, a mess of a single mother gets some action from a hot grumpy biker!

Talk about shtick hitting the fan!
Nora's life takes a one-eighty and now she is struggling to get by while doing the best she can for her two kids.
She never expected to find herself where she is now: being roomie to a big hunky biker man.
Who would have thought the ex would be an idiot and get in trouble, and somehow drag her into it?
However, this new supervision does come with perks.

Really enjoyed this read. MC read with a chicklit and giggle vibe, though still portraying the issues of being a single mother, especially ones like Nora and her difficult situation. Luca and Lena were great. Sebastian is...delicious. There! I said it! The sex really just makes it all the better too! The chemistry was hot, the relationship was not that smooth which was good for the plot because it kept things interesting.
Thumbs up from me!

I did enjoy this book, but I didn't really understand the main character. Her anxiety about waitressing at the strip club was never explained because I'm assuming it was before the stalker issue. Then, completely out of character toward the end, when they bring her in the office to offer her a job, she's throwing out stupid responses she knows aren't true. I just didn't understand her and we didn't have enough back story to explain it. I found her a hot mess. I was amused by her not cursing and the silly things she would say. I understand she was doing her best as a single mom, but her character was confusing. We didn't get to know much about Sebastian, other than he's hot. The spice level was a bit tame for what I'm used to. I applaud the author, but I just think things could have been better. I did enjoy it and would recommend it for others.

I've been in a reading funk and this broke me of it. I couldn't put this book down. I really liked the characters. It did have me laughing. This is book is also packed full of the feels. Nora's kids are a hoot and full of mischief. That's what drew me to this book, it's a single mom romance. Nora's ex is a piece of work that karma needs to visit asap. The only thing I wish it had was Sebastian's point of view. I wish I could have gotten inside his head a few times. I loved the guys at the clubhouse. They had me won over how they treated Nora and the kids. Nora's life goes on one heck of a ride in this book. A lot of ups and downs, but she is put on the path of her forever. This is a book I would recommend diving into. This is the first book by this author and it won't be my last.

Adult Supervision Required was my first book by Sarah Peis and it definitely won’t be my last! What’s not to love about grumpy heroes, single moms, and quirky friends? It had a cute storyline with a surprise twist, was well written, and had a super witty dialogue that kept you laughing. It was a slow burn, but the chemistry between the two main characters definitely kept the sizzle alive for the whole book. Grumpy, jealous/possessive heroes are my jam and Sebastian definitely fit the bill. I’m really looking forward to Sarah’s next book!

If you love grumpy hot heroes, cute kids, a mom that substitutes funny phrases instead of cursing, comical and supportive friends and motorcycle clubs this book has it all and much more. Nora is working two jobs to support her kids since her deadbeat ex ran off. When he comes back and brings trouble with him, she finds help from an unlikely source. This was a fantastic read and I didn’t want it to end. Looking forward to future books to see cameos of these wonderful characters.

This is a slow burn romance between a single mom with two little girls who's working two jobs to make it through and a hot biker who also happens to work as a bouncer at her waitressing job. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes as she delivers an entertaining story filled with twists and turns. I was glued to the pages reading from start to finish. Loved an highly recommend.

This was an enjoyable story that had a little bit of everything. It was fun watching Nora and Sebastian navigate their new found relationship: ex girlfriend of a deadbeat lowlife who owes money to a MC and designated MC security to be her shadow at all times. Throw in Nora’s two preschoolers, two unsatisfying jobs mixed with occasional wine and searches for chocolate and the story evolves from there. Overall this was a satisfying read with smile-worthy moments within the MC and an eventual HEA.

I received this as an arc from Give Me Books Promotions and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was a fantastic romantic comedy. It was well written and had a great pace. It completely captured my attention from the beginning and had me laughing out loud several times. The storyline was entertaining and also unpredictable. Nora and Sebastian just had amazing chemistry and I loved how he bonded with her children. It was my first time reading a book by this author and I was so happy to have the next one line up to read because this was definitely an author I want to read more from.

Help from a Biker

A fun awesome story that keeps you smiling while reading! Adorable kids, gorgeous hot bikers, BFFs any girl would die for, a scary stalker, and crazy ex. No matter what life throws at her she just keeps going! When her ex leads danger to her door, angry bikers, (really turn into teddy bears) that the kids twist around their fingers! Then things get interesting police raids, stalker attacks, and one quirky, wacky things lead to another! Will she survive, and get the love of her life, too?

Single Mom Nora is raising her two children Luca and Lena with some help from her friends. The ladies at the strip club where she works her second job help her too. Then her ex shows up and everything goes pear shaped. Meanwhile Nora can’t take her eyes off Sebastian at work.
I wanted to like this book, but I just couldn’t get into it. It didn’t grab when I started reading it. Looking for to the next book, hoping I like it better.

Rom-Com with strip clubs and MC’s.
Oh, and toddlers.
Yep.

Nora is a single mom to two young kids with a dead beat ex who got into trouble with the local MC. But seeing as she works at their strip club with Sebastian “Ace” they have him tail her (and her kids). He immediately becomes the hottie manny of sorts.

I kind of really wanted dual POVs but it’s told first person from Nora’s POV.

Recommend.

I really enjoyed the story and could totally sympathize with Nora over fighting siblings. The characters are totally believable and fun to imagine. This book brings “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” to life which I love. It also reminded me of how we can always jump to conclusions when we don’t wait for all the facts to be revealed.

I loved this book, Nora doesn't let life get her down, she just keeps moving forward, even when trouble seems to find her. Sebastian steps in to help in his own gruff way, a biker/undercover FBI agent and the games and attraction begin.
This book is well worth the read as are all of Sarah Peis other books

A love story with some twists. Nora has a ex-baby daddy that she was glad she got rid of. She worked two jobs to barely make ends meet. He ex showed up at her door and turned her world upside down. She had a strong support system with her friends and finds herself meeting Mr.Right in the most unlikely set of circumstances. The book was well written. Enjoyed reading it.

Steamy romance with singular POV is full of danger at every corner. It has it all- suspense, 2 bad guys, a motorcycle club, a single mom, and the FBI. Personally, I prefer two POVs but if we had is, it would have taken away some of the surprises.

I like the book, and I liked the characters. Overall it was mediocre. Not great, but good. I did like how easy it was to read. I would have liked to see more of the MC angle though. I feel like they left out a lot of what they’re about.

I loved the Some call it ... series, but now this story toped them all. Funny, smart, with good twists and thrilling moments. A good mix of danger and romance, without overwelming suspence.
