Our heroine is a new agent, determined to succeed. Our hero is her partner, with more than a passing interest in her. Can the two of them keep it professional long enough to complete the task, or will it turn out to be one distraction too many?
This is book one of the series, so no issues there.
This is a short action adventure story of the spy variety. The story is well written and easy to read with a fun cast of characters. We do get some of the standard spy tropes here, but that is okay as our characters are instantly recognizable and very fun. Our heroine is tough and smart, which is what she will need to make it through this mission. The plot moves along at a good pace and draws in the reader right from the start. The result is a quick and addictive read which leaves you looking for book two.
Highly recommended.

A fast paced and exciting read, this thriller races our “Zero” – agent in training - Anika, thru various training scenarios and out into the field paired with Level 3 agent Gianni.
I really liked the premise of the agency, the tough training environment and where the agents are recruited from. In amongst the action, a surprising amount of back story comes to light and the tantalizing start of the romance between Anika and Gianni.
The book finished way too fast and left me hanging but was a great start to the trilogy.

The Rest of The Story
I read this twice because something was missing. The plot was inviting and the spy toys were as good as any I've read about. I had trouble accepting the short description of the romance suddenly becoming white hot. Gianni is a third level operative and knew the rules against socializing with Zeros. Same goes with Anika talking back to her field supervisor on her first operation. Maybe plant more foundations for future interactions. I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

I won this book for an honest review.
This was a very interesting book. This is about a Zero which is the name of the newbies who are learning and hopefully becoming part of this team that does missions to get information, etc that will help the country. Anika is a natural at the training and soon she is called to action. Very good story.

Great spy thriller that is a total page-turner!

Short good
Story was short, certainly different, in the future, but good. Like the future "toys" they used. I started book 2 but we will see how that goes.
