Seria, a social outcast, has changed. Seria Stern, the wicked woman who made everyone tremble with fear, was now calm.
In fact, she wasn’t just changed, she was a completely different person.
The moment she realized that she had possessed the body of the villain Seria, in a romance novel, she had a hunch about the future and decided to live low.
She would avoid kidnapping and harassing the original heroine, hence preventing her death by decapitation at the hands of Kalis, the second male lead.
In order to avoid that, she had to fix her bad relationship with Kalis and even healed his injured arm.
Thanks to that she got engaged with him, so it’s all worked out. Finally, the original heroine returned, and her husband, Lesche, should be on good terms with her now.
“I’ve been waiting to escort her, so…”
Lesche asked, resolutely cutting off Kalis’ words.
“Miss Seria, it would be better for you to choose. With whom would you want to go with?”
Something was strange. The original, wasn’t it perfectly fine?

It took me a while to find the complete series of this book in English but I was able to track it down! I began reading this series on Manta as a web-manwha and NEEDED more than a short weekly update. I just had to know how to story ended. Seria is a modern woman who is reincarnated as a villainess in the novel she was reading before facing a tragic death as a graduate student. She is a beautiful character that you easily fall in love with and want her to succeed in changing the fate of the 'villainess'.
This story took an insane turn that I was not expecting but it made everything leading up to the big reveal make sense. I cannot wait to see it all unfold as a manwha comic. It really helped me visualize all of the characters, so if you do read this series you should go take a peek at the illustrated version to meet all of the main characters. It was a wonderful story and you are left wanting more, even after the story ends.
Outside of the FL and ML, everyone else was extremely aggravating to read. I’ve never read such a stupid antagonist like she had such strong plot armor because there were like ten opportunities she should have died or been caught.
Seria became a white lotus but it turns out she was always one so she never truly was a villainess… which was kinda lame but the past lives made it understandable. There was some hand-waving magic that happened to explain her modern life which was kinda stupid too. I pushed through to finish it since I wanted to know about the other antagonist and idk I don’t think this book deserves the praise it gets. It’s all very bland at the end and the only redeeming factor is the fated love trope. Seria is one of the smarter FLs I’ve read in otome isekai, though.

ohhh, this is quite different. i absolutely love it! i’m thoroughly enjoying this ‘slow-burn-that-isn’t-really-a-slow-burn’, and i’m really looking forward to reading more! our true ML’s a catch, that’s for sure. they’re going to be such a wholesome couple once they admit their feelings out loud, i just know it.
edit: AHHHH, I LOVE THEMMMM. so glad i decided to reread it! and now that the story’s actually over, i already know that i’ll be missing them as well.

also the way seria is literally an archduchess, but legit has no guards around her??? bc how tf was dumb and dumber able to barge into any room she’s in, without getting any consequences??? 😵💫
The Tragedy of The Villainess 3.5 ⭐ Spoilers Bueno… ¡Me encantó! <3 Super recomendada.

"Seria, the troublemaker of the social circle, has changed. The wicked Seria Stearn, who made everyone tremble in fear, has become well-behaved.
In fact, she wasn't just different; she was someone else entirely. The moment she realized she had transmigrated into a romance novel as the villainous Seria, she had a premonition about the future and decided to live life flat on her back.
In order to avoid only that ending where she kidnaps the original female lead and torments her, only to have her throat slit by the sub-male lead, Calis, she first resolves her adversarial relationship with Calis and even fixes his broken arm. Thanks to that, she ends up getting engaged to the sub-male lead. Everything seems to have turned out well since the original female lead has finally appeared, so the male lead, Leche, should be happy with her, right?
"I have been waiting all this time to escort her. So..."
Leche firmly interrupted Calis and asked.
"Seria, my dear, it's better for you to choose what's best. Who will you go to with your true nature?"
Something is off. Wasn't the original plot perfectly resolved?"
