In On the Water-Rights of the City of Rome he documents his duties, responsibilities and accomplishments during his first year in office. He also sketches the history of the aqueducts and furnishes a wealth of technical data. This is the most authoritative edition of this work to be published to date.

Good artifact of practical history. Author was the water commissioner of the city of Rome. Describes the entire water works.

I should read this in the original latin. It is interesting to see, how Roman edicts are issued wrt. to techological marvels, and the policy when it comes to governance.
