Creating their own oasis
I think I am in love with this story! The characters are phenomenal! I easily related to the sisters and their struggles to connect and thrive, and how sassy and committed to family they both are. And this tiger might be a bit arrogant, but with an animal that majestic how could he not be? Not to mention he is a fantastic guy once you peel back his veneer. The author really highlighted the characters in this story, and like with all books from the Howls collection, I could see this really happening. Throughout the book there is that underlying fear of the bad guy winning, and it just enhanced the reading experience. This was a fantastic book and I can’t wait to see what the author brings my way next. No matter what it is, I know I am going to need it in my life.

Wow, wow and more wow! THIS is what I’m talking about when it comes to some of the best paranormal writing there is. THIS book right here! I absolutely loved this book! I enjoyed it very much. It was like Gorri drew a line in the sand to all the other authors out there and said come at me!! I dare you! Alex was a great male main character. He reminds me of myself. I too get growly 😤and protective and want to worship and cherish whats mine as well. Also bears get very jealous if someone tries to touch what is ours and please don’t talk about the scent of what’s ours. Huge no, no! 😡That will get you churning in some large intestine on the way to the colon! 💩 As with all Gorri-Sensei books you get a huge dose of realism. Those of us that appreciate and truly look for this and crave this in our books get our thirst quenched 🤤when we read a Gorri book. Each of her books are steeped in family values, fellowship and romance. I think it’s because she’s such a great mom and wife in real life that it bleeds over into her books without her realizing it and that’s another trait that makes her books second to none. She truly is a master of her craft. Maggie was such a sweetheart and for a normie we just knew something else was going on with her. If you’ve read any of the other books you will see a pattern. I truly loved the path Gorri took with her and with the Nari of the Maverick Pride. Truly spectacular! We’re also introduced to Maggie’s half sister Joelle whom I liked very much! Jo-Jo was a terrific wingwoman! Joelle had me laughing my head off! We are also introduced to Another youth as well. I hope there’s more to these two in the future. Knowing Gorri, there will be and that makes me very excited for future books! There was one minor draw back and that was Edward. I would have liked more closure. But that’s because I have a huge lust for revenge and a sense of justice. My bloodlust tends to be greater than others so ignore me here. This series is definitely worth starting! I think you should grab them and gobble them up! You will enjoy yourself! It’s guaranteed! This bear 🐻 gives this book 8 meteors! ☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️ But the commies 🇨🇳 only let me rank 5 so yeah. I’m pouting. Yes, bears 🐻 can pout! 😫😖

Another five stars for C.D. Gorri. I totally loved and enjoyed this book. It was very refreshing. I know we all need those HEAs, but this was truly about a man who went over and beyond for his. Alex instantly fell head over heels for Maggie. Once they met his whole life changed. He gutted and redid. He listened and gave. And of course, he loved and lusted. Family was so preached in many ways by many people. It was beautiful, funny as hell, passionate, intelligent, dedicated and truly, truly believing in ones mate. And I’m telling you, that once again in her writings, I felt every emotion. I fell in love. Now go see. You will really enjoy it.

This book is one that you can escape to another world in. The author has done a terrific job in getting you invested in the story as the characters live their lives. This story left me wanting more from this world and wanting to know what the characters get up to next.

This third book in the Howl's books that takes place Maconwood pack backdrop is amazing with unique characters. It has humor, misunderstandings, twists, turns, adventure and romance. This is an interesting story where you get to revisit characters from this series and other series set in a great town. Love this author.

I loved this story. The pace, the story line, the characters were awesome. I wont make this a spoiler. I will say, it will encourage you to read all of the stories in this wonderful town. So this story is about Maggie and Alex who definitely are from two different walks of life. This story brings together a new facet, a pride and pack to work successfully together and we get to see the great part of the love of fated mate. It makes you wish you had a fated mate out there in the world. CD GORRI!!! You did an amazing job on this story. Cant wait for the next story in this series.

Alex is a tiger shifter and Maggie is a normal, which means a non-shifter. Maggie's dad and step mom died and left Maggie their motel, and their young daughter-a Wolf shifter-to raise.

This story was a great read. I enjoyed the female lead, Maggie’s, determination to do the best thing for her sister and to not just be steamrolled by those around her. I was particularly happy that she could admit when she needed help, not pursuing an independent course to her own detriment.

The male lead, Alex, was cute in his assumption that she would just fall at his feet, but I appreciated his gentle persistence and the effort he made to build a relationship with Maggie’s sister, Joelle.

The story was dual POV, well written and edited, and I really enjoyed seeing the characters grow and develop together and as individuals.

First, no one can spin a tail (pun intended), quite like Ms. Gorri. The way she brings Prides, Packs, characters and Worlds together is amazing. Honestly, there is nothing quite like it. The story mixes the Macconwood Wolves and the Island Stripe Pride. Although Maggie is a normal, her half sister is a wolf. Following the death of their father, the sisters take over the 'family business'. Alex enters the picture when the girls need him most. Even if they don't know it. However, this will change all of their lives. Maggie and Alex will dance around the truth, but the Fates will not be denied. I loved Jo-Jo's spunk. I really hope to see her in a future story. Catching up with the Wolves is always a joy. You will be granted with a HEA for the main couple. But, the fun is experiencing them get there. This is my voluntary review of an early copy I received.

She came to care for her sister and her fathers motel, but things were not as they seemed in the end. Her fated Mate bought out the morgage on the motel and well things got very interesting.
This is a great addition to the Maccon pack stories and filled with fun characters and will have you laughing, crying, and cheering at times as these two fumble around trying to figure their lives out.

After the death of her father and stepmother Maggie is surprised to find out she is the guardian of her half-sister Joelle. She also is informed that her sister and she are owners of their father's seaside motel. Alex is a tiger shifter and is in Maccon City to collect on her delinquent payments. This is a shifter romance between a human and a tiger shifter. The writing is well done, the characters are likable and the storyline is good. This was my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more books in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Maggie's life has been overturned again when she got the news that her father was dead. Maggie's mother has been a horrible mother who cared very little for being a mom but she got pregnant at a young age and her family forced them to marry. When Maggie was still a child her parents divorced and she was pulled between the two parents until her father remarried. After he remarried and they had a child, Maggie never saw them much again. When her father died, she was shocked to find out that she was made her little half sister's guardian and the owner of his hotel business. The shocks kept going when she arrived to be there for her teenage sister. A stranger came up to her and explained that her sister was a wolf shifter that had just gone through her first change. Now she has to learn more about the shifter life. Now she has learned that the manager her father hired has stolen from her and a stranger has bought the loan on the motel. She is afraid that her and her sister will be thrown out until she meets Alex. To her surprise, he is a tiger shifter and he wakes up the long dormant sexual desire buried within her.

Alex is not happy to forced to go to Macconwood but he has to follow his Neta's orders. The Neta's mate wanted the Neta to onvest in her hometown and so they bought an old run down motel. Alex's job is to get rid of the manager who ran the motel down so much and turn it into a great getaway place. Alex is resentful of being stuck in this little town un til her first meets Maggie. To his shock the former owner is also his fated mate. Now all his plans have changed. He will do whatever it takes to help Maggies dream for the motel come true. He will also help her with her shifter sister. He plans to stay with his future mate forever in Macconwood but first he has to convince her to mate with him.

Whether they want to give in to this fact or not, their Fate is set before them. Can he convince her they are mates? Will she allow him to claim her as his own? At the very least, he would be an enormous help in raising Joelle as a shifter.

Alex is a Tiger Shifter and is sent to Maccon City to take over a seaside motel by his Neta/Alpha. He is angry that he has to go and feels as thought he is being punished since he doesn't like the beach. Margaret has inherited a seaside hotel from her father and is raising her much younger wolf shifter sister, and she is human. She has been making the payments to the bank and doesn't understand why the bank is wanting to sale the loan. She finds out when she arrives late for the meeting that the payments have been going to the Caymen Islands instead. She is heartbroken and calls the alpha of wolf shifters for help. Alex arrives and breaks in to the office and ends up having a ink concoction land on his head and finds his fated mate. What will happen now. Must read to find out. Plenty of humor and steamy encounters.

Maggie (human) and Alex (tiger) along with her stepsister Joelle (wolf) find a new direction in their lives as they are all forced to work together. Maggie and Joelle run their fathers motel and Alex is part of the group that bought their loan. The previous manager stole their mortgage payments and more before Alex and the groups find a way to correct it all. Alex and Maggie are mates and it takes a lot to get through the misunderstandings and surprises. The characters and storyline are a wonderful mix of feelings and situations. Could not put this book down. Very well done.

I really loved how well the characters were developed in such a short time. Loved that while Alex desperately wants to claim Maggie, he waits for her to indicate she wants more. Really enjoyed this book.

Angry. Interested. Frustrated. Annoyed. Curious and horny

Maggie finds shifters confusing but Alex is just impossible! Very sexy...but impossible!
Alex knows he is in trouble the moment he sets his eye on her...yes just the one as the other is full of goop! Not only has he met his mate but also his match, she is feisty, sassy, angry, protective, glorious and perfect!

Maggie and,Alex story was good from the beginning to the end. It had sparks that never drizzled out. Love, love, love how Alex immediately took on the big brother roll with Noelle and helped her with her shift. I enjoyed this story a lot.
Alex is not looking for a mate but he gets one.
Margaret does not want a men, she wants a motel, she owns wit her sister to be out from red line and bring profits.
Alex and Margaret meets, and as always with shifters, he knows what he wants, she is more stubborn.
As always Mrs. Gorri deliver wonderful story.

We met Beta Alex in a previous story and it's only fitting he now gets his. Alex is being sent on a vacation with a little work? hmmm.
Maggie was left a motel which has seen better days. And when Alex shows up to what? Take her place? Oh heck no...
Maggie not only has a place to fix, she has a kid sister she didn't really know much about but who she loves dearly there is only one issue.
Both Alex and her sister Joelle get growly? What!!!
Too cute the chemistry between Maggie and Alex, and I just love Joelle. Another fantastic story in this series.

Hilarious meet cute leads to something much more. Alex is sent to rehab the Prides newest investment and meets his mate. This screws up his plans in the most delightful ways. Maggie has been working and studying her whole life and is about to succeed when life hits her again and she is tasked with caring for a half sister she doesn’t know.
This is an adorable romp that had me laughing out loud. Maggie makes Alex work for it.
