🃜🃚🃖🃁🂭🂺 Pre-read notes 🃜🃚🃖🃁🂭🂺 I couldn't find the compact on Goodreads, but I am reading the compact version right now. I am so excited! The court of owls are my favourite villains, I hope they get adapted into the new Batman movie :,) They are also probably the most realistic Batman villains tbh, maybe that's why they are so appealing.
This was such an exciting and thrilling comic to read. The upside chapter was insane and kept me so engaged. The plot twists with Dick being related to the Talon and having the gold tooth cap was so interesting. This comic really displayed Bruce’s detective skills and his intelligence. I also really liked the emotional battles we got to see Bruce go through and it showed a vulnerable side of him we rarely get to see which I appreciated. Over all it was a really solid read!!

I thought it was so good, from the mystery in the beginning with a lot of hopefully and happy things happening in life but slowly not adding up to my favorite part in the book where Batman is stuck in the labyrinth and losing his mind, but right as the court tries to kill him he realizes what’s going on and escapes, then he kept discovering more and more, until the court releases the entire flock of talons and Bruce has to fight them off in the batcave, he then returns to the house he went to as a child to stop the court and finds them all dead by apparent suicide, but Bruce doesn’t beleive it then he figures it out by a pin on his mothers shirt, and finds Lincoln march and fights him, but he escapes after a building explosion

I love a Greg Capullo Batman! What a great story! An absolute visual feast. I never expected to get a story as good as “Killing Joke” that goes so deep into a characters psychology! Batman driven past the point of madness yet somehow goes on. The story was all meat and potatoes for me enjoyable from start to finish and one of the few I know I’m likely to go through again. I think my Most enjoyed Batman story since the original “Hush”
---------------------------------------------- My first comic book/compact huzzahh! I love this saga ive always found the court of owl insanely interesting ever since I watched Batman vs Robin. Plot twist is actually insane.
We'll never know really if Lincoln is his brother or not, not until they find his body at least. Maybe in the second volume. This was so epic, illustrations are absolutely beautiful how is anyone ever truly capable of making these. Finished this in one sitting. <3

A nice little story to start the weekend. Goodreads didn’t have the version I read but all and all it was a nice read. The ending had a good twist that I didn’t see coming but the whole story seemed rushed. It could have benefited from being a couple volumes bigger to make the mystery a little more drawn out. It was still a fun read nonetheless the less
Peak, wirklich einfach Peak. Leider ist das Ende ein bisschen abrupt und die 1. additional story hätte man auch einfach in die Mainstoryline mit einbeziehen können und statt der 2. das Ende noch ein bisschen ziehen können. (4,5/5)
The art looks awesome, the detective story was good and the plot twist at the end is even better. The chapter where the page turned sideways and then upside down was so cool it’s MENTAL! Only complaint is sometimes the art looks a bit off, I don’t know what it is though.
The book has amazing graphics and is a real page-turner. It had a dark and Erie tone. But at the same time seemed to bring in an interesting point of view to the main character Batman.
