This is not the type of book I would normally read. When I got into this book, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Great piece of work by a new author. I look forward to his next publication. Good luck David.
When I started this book, I couldn't put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Look forward to more great books from this author.
Exciting, suspense, thrilling and scary as heck!!! What a page turner. Editing issues were there but for a first novel I was so impressed. I was on the edge of my seat. I'll be keeping an eye out for this Author going forward. Great excelling potential here. I'd gladly read an ARC copy for the next novel if I had the opportunity. I purchased this book so I'll be enjoying it again in the future.
I was skeptical at first as this is not my usual reading genre. It took a bit to get into the book, but after a few chapters I started getting hooked. By about half way through I couldn’t put it down!!! This book was really good and kept me guessing until the end!
This book surprised me by how much I enjoyed it. It’s not my typical genre to pick up, but I really enjoyed the plot and the twists and turns caught me off guard. I don’t typically read books with psychological and horror elements, but this was a welcome surprise.
This is Edward Martin’s first book and it does read like a new author’s work, but not so much that it’s not enjoyable to read. There is definitely room for improvement in the nuts and bolts of it (I’ve started Edward’s next book and I can confirm he definitely put in the work. Much improved in my opinion), but the story creating is top-notch.
I’d definitely recommend checking out this promising new author and then moving right into his next book, Keepers of the Lighthouse, and see how much Edward has improved his craft. He’s got a mind for creating non-traditional stories and a bright future ahead.
Creepy and suspenseful and incredibly well thought out!! Normally not the type of book I go for but David Edward Martin Dunphy has opened my eyes to a whole other genre! Can’t wait to read his future novels.
