I liked the fact that this Bible gave you a portion to read every day. I've found that that's the best way to keep myself on track with my reading. What was different was that every day there was a small story and prayer about someone that had been Persecuted or killed for their faith in Jesus. This helped me to be more aware of people that suffer just because they love Jesus. I also liked this translation. It was a new one for me.
