Aiden

Rate this book
Aiden Walton is the eldest of Lincoln Walton’s sons. He had taken after their father in several ways, and was clearly at the vanguard of the family affairs. However, he soon realized that it wasn’t enough to be in control, it was also necessary to create a pathway for the others. The responsibilities he carried out soon led him to a point where the need for a spouse became essential.

In his assumption to explore the easy path, Aiden realized how desperate people could be in a bit to milk the rich dry. Aiden confronts the challenge with an immediate indifference, but it would take an amusing alteration of Molly Sanders to bring Aiden’s consciousness to the fact that true love didn’t cost so much.
At first, Aiden was just naturally intrigued by the kind of personality Molly was but following Molly’s recommendations, he soon realized what true love really meant, and from her, he realized who was fit to be his bride. The only challenge however was how to convince Molly Sanders of the role she needed to play in helping him complete the liberation process she had started in him.

This is the first book in the Walton Brothers Series and is Aidon's story. Aiden is the eldest son and his father is pushing him to get married. He was still getting over his devious ex who is getting married. Fate brings him and Molly together and this is a sweet story about their growing attraction and love. The book was short but packed a lot in. The characters were likable and the story line was engaging. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

Sounded interesting and it has good reviews, so I grabbed the box set.
Not worth my time.
What the hell this was supposed to be I don’t know. DNF the box set.
Not a writing style I like, needs editing and smoothing and to actually have a decent storyline and some actual story.
The story itself, what little there is, is disjointed, lacking details, felt juvenile and stilted, the characters immature.
We don’t get the actual back story of Molly being sacked, it is just dealt with.
A 28 year old man who is supposed to successfully run a billion dollar business, who is being pushed into marriage by his dad.
His thinking and behaviour was just unlikeable.
I especially wanted to slap him when he agreed to give his ex sex buddy’s new fiancé a half a million dollar business loan. WTH!
Molly seemed more balanced but we know nothing about her and we go from meeting, getting drunk and spending the night together, sans sex, then we get a walk down memory lane of all the women Aiden has been with, then they are getting married.

This is the first book in the Walton Brothers series and it focuses on Aiden, the oldest son of Lincoln Walton. Aiden is getting pressure from his father to get married as he thinks Aiden’s four younger brothers seem to be waiting for Aiden to get married first.

Aiden meets Molly at a bar and tries to strike up a conversation. In the process he spills the beans on what his dad is saying and Molly inspires him to really think about his past relationships. Aiden discovers why those relationships didn’t work and decides to purse Molly.

Fast paced story that is beautifully written to share the love between Aiden and Molly. I liked how Aiden got revenge on the person who fired Molly the day her and Aiden met. The epilogue scene was wonderful and it seems this five Walton Brothers may have a mischievous side.

Finding Love

This was a very short and quick story. This is the first book in the Walton Brother's series and focuses on Aiden and Molly. Maiden has a long line of failed relationships, everyone taking advantage of him for his money. His father is pushing him to get married, thinking that Aidens brothers are waiting on him to settle down before they settle down themselves. This short story reveals the first encounter between Aiden and Molly, (was it fate?) both upset and drinking their sorrows. While this was a short read, I really enjoyed the fact that the author was able to put in a lot of information to develop the characters, mainly Aiden. Not so much Molly.

Good characters but story a little too fast
2.5
I was seriously surprised by the character of Aiden and his relationship with Emily at first. His conversation under the influence of alcohol with a stranger (Molly) in a bar is what made him friendlier to me.
On the other hand, his father's excuse is slightly exaggerating to convey the story.
I found the author to go a bit fast between finding out what Aiden is going through, his inner dialogue, and his final decision the next day. The story is short and so is Aiden's story.

Aiden is pressured by his father to get married because all his brothers are waiting for him to be the first.
Molly loves her job, unfortunately, she has been fired because she didn’t want to go to bed with her boss.
The book has potential, but I think it is a bit too short and some things are poorly developed. However, I enjoyed reading it. Three stars and a half.

I'm not a fan of short stories. But, this book about Aiden was really pretty good. Aiden has been tasked to find a wife so that his younger brothers might follow his lead and find theirs. The problem is Aiden is still hung up on his ex. Well, that is until he meets a girl named Molly, sitting alone in a bar. I look forward to the next book to see how the brothers do.

Surprised

I was surprised at the storyline of this well written book. From the very beginning I though Aiden was going to end up with his crazy ex.But thankfully he thought better of that. A short, quick love story.

Aiden's Choice . . .

Aiden, the oldest of five brothers, is next in line to follow his father. His father wants him to get married. But the type of women he has been dating are only after money or want what he can give them and do not see him for the man he is.

So when he meets Molly Sanders at a bar, she is completely different. He is able to talk with her comfortably. They spend the night together. And instead of trying to coerce him out of money, she quietly leaves. Unfortunately, or perhaps quite fortunately, she left her phone behind. They will be seeing each other again as he returns her phone. Is this perhaps a second chance for them? Can he pursue her or interest her in a relationship, explaining that she is exactly what he needs in his life? Can he finally achieve his HEA?

Just like every young person he was not ready to settle down. He has not found Ma. Right. His father was pressuring him to get married. Aiden had not found a woman that he could see hisself with long term. His ex Emily was getting married. He couldn’t stop thinking of her and she showed up at his office. These events leaves him drinking and meeting Molly. They both had to much to drink and ended up at a hotel. Molly tried to get away fast and left her phone. Aiden thought long and hard about the women he had been with. None of them compared to Molly. Molly left her phone in the room. Aiden was happy he would the chance to see her again. Fate had other plans for them both. Aiden was a change man for the better

First time reader, I really enjoyed the first book and can't wait to read more.
Aiden is sitting at a bar, thinking about what his Dad said about settling down and getting married. While sitting there dwelling on his past relationships when he sees a woman sitting by herself. Going over to see if she's by herself. She says she's waiting for someone. After an hour of sitting and talking, her friend never shows. He pretty much tells her everything his Dad walked about. One thing led to another and they end up drunk and sleep together but nothing happened. The next morning she leaves. Once home Molly realizes she left her phone.
Molly can not believe she has to see Aiden again. Molly was at the bar to drown her sorrow after losing her job. Aiden told her everything and wants her advice as to why he can't find a loyal woman to love him for him and not his money.
She calls to get her phone back and Aiden agrees to giving her phone back. They spend time together and fall in love and months later the end up getting married.

Aiden, oldest son to Lincoln Walton, and born with a golden spoon. He does not understand why his father is pushing him to get married quickly, that he would be in the way of his brothers' happiness.
All he knows are women who just want him for his money. When he meets Molly at a bar, she intrigues him, as she really is not interested in him. Asking her for advice in how to get a loving wife, not a gold digger he more and more realizes that she is the one for him. But how to persuade Molly?
A novelette, romantic at times, a little boring at times. I was not really impressed and give this booik a 3,5 star review.
As the first book of a series it leaves me a little underwhelemed.

Aidon is the oldest of the Walton's brother, dad's favorite and the one to follow in his footstep. With that his dad is pushing him to love and marriage, but Aidon only finds the women who want what he has not him. When he meet Molly, she was nothing like the other women he had been around, even when they woke up the next day, she rather run than get something from him.

Molly opened Aidon eye to a belief he had been closed off to, now he need her help. Will she or won't she? This is a delightful story of find the love you never new you could and great start to the series.

This is the first book in the Walton Brothers. He is the oldest and next in line to follow his father's footsteps. His father wants him to get married so that his brothers will also do the same. But he is stuck on his ex still that is getting married. All the females in his life want nothing more than what he can give them, they don't want him for who he is. He meets a woman in a bar that spends the night with, then the next day she is gone without a word. Leaving her phone. They are pushed back together when he is returning her phone. Will these two be able to work together and get HAE?

The author has pulled us into the lives of Aiden and Molly and does not let go. A chance meeting between the two at a bar brings them together on level that he has never felt before.

Brother 1 - Aiden and Molly. They meet in a bar, both alone, after his father says he needs to get married so the others will as well. They talk and she leaves her phone so they have to meet again. The characters are lost - he does not want someone who is just after his money and she just lost her job. Loved that things turned around for them once they talked honestly and completely about their lives and feelings. Great ending. Now on to Levi.

A different style of writing than I am used to, but still a very good read. A unique spin on rich man meets woman he eventually wins over kind of story. It's far from boring and has several really humorous moments.

The style of writing dates the book farther back in history with its old world linguistic flow. Their manner of speaking and conversing is awkward. Not what I was expecting. I found it too disconnected. For those who prefer this is a clean short read.
